    They need to fix pets where they should not stay engaged when the player is that far away.

    Ele/Tempest Players will say you are tripping :D Very often I feel like I need to wait for 20-25 seconds to be able to deal dmg to him. Kinda insane how ele gets 20 skills + util skills each with a wall of text + skills on the stances that are also a wall of text. Meanwhile we have skills like hundered blades, all of engi rifle, eng mace, thief staff in the game.

      Yea, condi tempest especially is a solid argument backing the "strongest dps is a tank with a knife" theory.
      Grocery receipt tooltips aren't root of the problem though, it's generall lack of proper balancing on condi/power/tank circular triangle of mental retardation that's the root of the issue. (You know the thing under the rug we don't talk about.)

      @@captaincrapface7337 I'm def not the best player in the world I recently got to G3 after I switched from main daredevil to mix of spellbreaker, DH, power glass rifle berserker(does not work against g3, p1 players) and willbender. I climbed out of g1 to g3 really quickly just by switching away from Daredevil. Feels like the game got like a thousand times more boring now. I'm having endless battles 1vs1 as SB or DH on the sidenodes that sometimes take around minute or two. Even if I get 2vs1 I'm able to hold for decent amount of time even 3vs1 when there is broken terrain or the people on the other side decided to not play the most broken meta builds. Since hitting G3 now I'm stuck in an infinite loop playing against SB, DH, Tempest, Druid, Condi Reaper and Harbringer in every single lobby. Good job Cal

    Honestly, i agree with you Crapface. Personally i always went by the motto of:
    "Dead DPS deal no damage"
    Defence has always been a mainstay in my build, and it will most likely remain a mainstay.
    Maybe one day toughness and armor will actually be worth a damn and i can make a heavily armored knight with a greatsword to goomba stomp stuff
    Till that day, I'm still going by that suggestion you gave me months ago in a comment and using a one handed sword.
    Flaming flurry is really neat 😀

      Since GS and spear (as of current) work off of one trait, assuming Land Spear will inherit the keywords and synergize with "spear does X" traits, there's moderate argument for Strength-Defence with GS+Spear to become strongest Power build for Berserker from JW onwards.

      Actually, I should start this one off by saying "I hope warrior spear will be good" first
      Gotta admit though, not having ranged weapons is kinda painful at times so I don't know how nice great sword/spear will be
      Assuming spear is melee as well anyways.
      Could really do with more info on warrior spear 😅

    Even when I don't agree with you, I love your vids. In this case however I do.
    I will say, that Defense feels like it's in a good spot right now. I think it's t he other trait lines that need to be brought up. I can't think of one good reason to go Arms for instance. Strength has some merit, but not on par with Defense or Discipline. And Tactics is pretty much reserved for people who are playing support warrior, so that just doesn't count for this situation, where we're talkin damage.

      Tactics mostly suck as damage line because [Warrior's Cunning] itself is a piece of unusable manure.

      Arms are scuffed in pvp because of the amulets. Arms want to give you near perfect crit chance and tons of ferocity, both of which are stats with diminishing returns (crit chance overcap, ferocity being additive). In return Arms expect you to get your sustain elsewhere, preferably from gear attributes (toughness, vitality etc).
      In spvp amulets are almost all if not totally all packed with precision, while majority have a defensive attribute deficit. Toughness or Vitality, take your pick, and each is an option that's only on couple of amulets.

      @@mrbuster3106 Add on top of that, Arms is to some extent Cond oriented, with innate bleed on criths, and [Furious] giving you condi damage buff for critting.
      Condi-Crith builds are a thing that aged very poorly in GW2 as a whole.

      Imagine building up precision to deal condi damage....I suppose they wanted us to build 3 stats like with power precision ferocity, but condi dmg, expertise and precision but that must have fell off somewhere on the way.

    Id like to add that, there is a high potential chance that if the new Martial Cadence change rolls in, we might see the arrival of Tactics warrior.
    If there is no icd, it will basically be 3 might, healing and protection, alongside quickness and cleanse every 4 seconds on burst use.
    This will basically be defense all over and even if there is an ICD (which I dont think will be long give the nature of recharging on weapon swap and discipline being a thing), it will still be cracked.
    And i suppose you can take empower allies for additional self/team might, which defense lacks or warrior's cunning for that extra dmg while also having access to empowered for additional modifiers.
    If that pairs up with defense and discipline in a core warrior, things might get nasty and support warrior might take a hit before it is even buffed.

      [Warrior's Cunning] is complete shit. It only works in fringe scenarios, as builds with broad application of Barrier are still in minority, or for literall first two seconds of combat, as enemies under pressure don't typically heal back up and over 80%.
      Cunning is a faliure and waste of space.

    But what's the build you're running? And would it be viable in PvE as well?
    I'm a big believer in running a build across as much content as possible so i can really get used to it 😅

      Defence 3-1-1, Strength 2-2-2, Berserker 3-3-3, with Weaver Relic, Berserker stats, Eagle Rune, sigils of Cleansing and Exploitation.
      - It's not meta, but not greiefing either, and I'm willing to check how close to plat i can get with it.
      Much more reliable than "traditionall" full damage gunzerker.
      It will work in open world and casual WvW, you may even take it into Pugs for fractals and strikes. Just swap [Might Makes Right] for [Berserker's Power] when you go at DPS'ing, and swap gear to Diviner's as you'll technically be, somewhat of a quickness provider for the group.

      Looking like a promising build Cap, gonna have to give this one a shot. Considering it's a rifle build, quite literally it seems 😀
      Always tried to like rifle. What can I say, I just like guns. Maybe this build will finally be the one I can actually enjoy playing!

    PvP is classic "offense is cheap and defense is expensive" balancing.
    There isn't a situation in the game where you lose because you can't just do enough damage. Beserker amulet is all you really need to meet the minimum amount of damage needed to win a fight.

      @@captaincrapface7337 the trait line is tbs, but defense as "traits and utilities to not die" isn't. Otherwise pure arms/strength dps beserker would be meta 🤣

    way too small amount of reliable hitting weapon skills, ridiculous precast/cast times/aftercasts length of major mobility skills that can break animation, stupid changes such as reducing might generation on eviscerate :I or making another cc-dependent skill on strength because why tf not and obviously way too much randomness on other classes and weakness aplication that made resistance on warrior a must have. If these things were somewhat fixed then strength would be dmg king, but it won't because.

      sigils of cleansing can help you out and [Defiant Stance] will heal you off of conditions you have on you.

    the current problem with warrior is that he need sacrifice survability for hit like a truck, but the other classes dont have this issue they can hit like a truck and got perma dodge, perma barrier, perma protection, what need warrior for beeen a viable brawler we need stance turn back how were in the past, i mean dont give boons, just made us invulnerables to conditions, stuns daze like in the vanilla game.
    and they should rework weapon specific trait boosters cause what happen if i want play defense but dont like hammer? i will lose that 20% dmg incriese just for dont like hammer?
    anet force me to pick i playstyle than i hate just because i need more survability?
    all those traits should been rework to % dmg increase if u are under any type of enemy effect on pvp mode. and have more acces to quickness, alot of people said yo warrior has crazy mobility and is true but can´t blink walls shadow step to other floor.
    what could be a impruve add 2 sec of quickness to fast hands every time u swap weapons, and 4 seconds of swiftness to warrior sprint every time u break stune
