    Some tips:
The updated snowcrows build uses Relic of Peitha and Sword mainhand. Just some easy dps increases, and sword 2 has some nice mobility.
You really want to have 100% crit chance with bladesworn. It really sucks to fully charge dragon trigger and only hit like 30k damage. Also make sure to have Overcharged Cartridges in effect during dragon slashes for the 15% damage increase, and use dragon trigger 5 to get the 10% damage increase from Relic of Peitha.
If you move at all using WASD inside of dragon trigger, it will cancel dragon trigger. If you move too fast after pressing 1-3 for a dragon slash, you can cancel the slash. That was why you lost alac uptime in your demo.
If you find yourself out of position in dragon trigger, use it anyway. You don't need to hit anything to give alac, and like you said, the boon radius is huge.
You also may still be able to hit the boss with it anyway. In your XJJ example (12:53) you definitely could have hit with a dragon trigger 2, with the bonus of it putting you in position. (Also you canceled your dragon slash with WASD movement here too)
Dragonspike mine resets your dragon trigger, so whenever it is off cooldown, you should use it immediately after you use a dragon slash. In the same XJJ example, you could have gotten alac back up immediately if you used it. Super important for DPS and helpful for alac uptime.
You should be using dragon trigger 5 (flicker step) instead of gunsaber 5 (break step) to reposition for your dragon slashes. Gunsaber 5 is super laggy and dragon trigger 5 is lagless (and again, triggers Relic of Peitha).
Tactical Reload (your elite) reloads 1 ammo to all of your bladesworn ammo skills (in addition to doubling dragon trigger charge speed). This includes your dragon trigger 4 and 5 (aegis and flicker step). It also gives you some more flexibility to use overcharged cartridges for CC without as much of a dps loss.
Your 4 skill in pistol, gunsaber, and dragon trigger all apply aegis. With tactical reload recharging another ammo for gunsaber and dragon trigger 4, this means you have a ton of aegis on demand to use to ignore mechanics or charge dragon trigger.
And yeah, you're right about bladesworn being a "one-trick pony" and being locked into your utility skills.

Yeah, pistol being mele, summarizes greatly how arena treats warrior.
Nontheless, when it comes to Alacsworn, there are minor details that you'd probably like to know:
you don't need to fully charge, or land Dragon Trigger to applay alacrity. It applies when DT goes off, regardless if it hits anything, and you always get full duration.
You can use that to still apply alacrity when boes goes invulnerable, or anything in that manner.
Further than that both [Signet of Fury] and ["To the limit] give you enough flow to enter DT, which makes you capable of granting Alacrity, even completly outside of combat.

Hello, just wanted to give a heads up that the SC build is now up to date, along with the HS build. The GuildJen build is slightly out of date but will still get the job done. You definitely want a Relic of Peitha but the main-hand options between Axe and Sword are very little difference in terms of dps (about 400dps) so it comes down to player preference. Thanks.

  • @beneteus3833

A trick for upkeeping the boons if the boss goes invulnerable or out of range - you can use dragontrigger 3 to always get your trait interaction.
for some reason it always counts as if you hit on skill 3.

A bit late to comment but here are some of my notes for the spec.
First of all, weapons are basically your flex slots. The difference between MH weapons is pretty negligable, with my choices being Sword for mobility or Dagger for CC. Replacing the pistol is a bigger DPS loss but still not too bad and gives you access to Mace for more CC, Warhorn for cleanses and OH Dagger for boonrip and projectile reflect. Some other means of flexing include Vigorous Shouts + Combat Stimulant for more self-sustain ("To the limit!" is a safety net, not a necessity) and others have already mentioned Peak Performance for self stab. Also, reminder that the base build runs Martial Cadence, which is an impractical but usable source of group Stab.
Use Dragon Trigger 4 and 5 liberally. Both are instant and trigger traits/relics. After pressing F2, I immediately hit 4, then 5 and start aiming towards wherever I need to go to avoid mechanics or get a better angle. Only save 4 if you know there's a big, predictable hit coming.
CC access is not great but better than it looks. You can get the benefit from Explosive Cartridges twice off of the double Dragon Slash combo as long as one of them benefits from Tactical Reload, which frequently saves you enough ammo for Detonate Cartridges to be available. Gunsaber 3 can also be held with minimal DPS loss and as previously mentioned, your weapons can be swapped to sub in more CC.
Dragon Trigger forces Unsheathe Gunsaber, letting you bypass the weapon swap cooldown. This let's you do stuff like Sheathe Gunsaber -> Pistol 5 -> Dragon Trigger. I usually weave in Pistol 4 and/or Dragonspike Mine here as well. Especially good for cancelling Dragon Slash's long aftercast and getting maximum value out of Explosive Cartridges.
Also as a general reminder, you're the highest HP profession, in heavy armor AND with a shitton of aegis. You'd be surprised how much you can greed on damage.
    Edit: Some more tips.
The opener I use goes Gunsaber 5 -> Flow Stabilizer + Explosive Cartridges > Tactical Reload -> 2x Flow Stabilizer + Dragon Slash -> Dragonspike Mine -> Dragon Slash -> Weapon Swap. Gunsaber 5 is for approaching the boss and is used to guarantee that fury is up for Flow Stabilizer. When practicing on the golem, turn on a light damage field to simulate the fact that most bosses put you in combat before any damage is done. If you're playing content where this does not apply such as fractals and open world, use Gunsaber 4 after Gunsaber 5 to smack an enemy and put yourself in combat. Being in combat prevents your flow from depleting.
I also tested the recently buffed Rifle and it has close to parity with the Snowcrows Sword+Pistol build (Same build except weapons. Managed to hit just over 40k on both). The rotation I used was Double Dragon Slash -> Weapon Swap -> Rifle 3 -> 2 -> Explosive Cartridges -> 3 -> 5 -> 2 -> 3 -> Dragon trigger. Cancel Rifle 2 is canceled when it interferes with Dragon Slash. While the DPS loss is heavy, running Rifle alongside Lush Forest and Electric fence let's you maintain a pretty ridiculous Projectile Block uptime.

  • @kessy628
    @kessy628 6 месяцев назад +2

Worth noting, the now-updated snowcrows build (since it got updated on the website between recording and release of this) uses Peitha relic, which wants you to use flickerstep (dragon trigger 5) before you do every slash for dps. You would probably want to use thief relic instead if you want to save it until you need it or otherwise not think about that piece.

  • @Dahkeus3
    @Dahkeus3 6 месяцев назад +5

@1:41 It's just because the alac was a bit late to start since you were warming up for your first dragon slash. It was probably the same downtime as in the strike, but relative to the entire combat time, it was a bigger proportion. I.e. you didn't do anything wrong, except were maybe a bit slow to get the alac started.

There are some arquable utility flex by picking 'Kick" or "Bull's Charge" instead of Cartriges for extra instant CC, it's about 5% Slash dmg decrease, because Peak Performance trait gives you 10% dps increase after using physical skills for 6 sec, but you'll have to do combo with dragon trigger after just not to waste the bonus. The new build with Relic of Peitha seems pretty weird for me because it's can be hard sometimes to track timings of 4s buff and dmg boost from cartriges at the same time esp if a lot of things happens during the encounter and gives no escape options because teleport skill 5 is used in the rotation

There are optimised versions for each but are not by any means required if not in high end content imo.

Only 2 things here: it is in fact easy to figure out your cc without the wiki. Every sec of daze/stun ist 100 break ar dmg with a minimum of 100 (so micro stuns also do 100 cc). So gunsaber 3 does 200 cc without para sigil.
You lost our on a ton of dps by not using dragon trigger 4 and 5 enough to upkeep your stacks of ammo skills and by wasting the cartridges which bit you're dragon slash by 10%,so you want to make sure you get 2 slashes with each cast of cartridges

Protip: disabling auto attack on gunsaber will also disable AA on dragon trigger. So no more cancelling half of your damage because you queued a skill after DS
Also if you don't dragon slash on CD on a build that gets 50% of its damage and gives alac by slashing you need to dragon slash more

Probably the lowest CPM warrior build, and is just overall enjoyable, because it's just DPS BS, with a single trait change.
Also, surprisingly useful even during invuln phases, because you can still generate flow; and you don't need 5 charges to give the alac, if that's what you're prioritizing.
and again, if you need more CC, the mainhand is a little less flexible than other warrior builds, but you can fairly comfortably slot in mace or dagger if CC is lacking (just spend more time in gunsaber mode when CC isn't needed).
