2/6/24-I own a 2022 q60s. Awesome, powerful, comfortable performance, including braking. Beautiful. Why does everyone diss the infotainment system? Once you are oriented, works great, looks great. Two screens preclude the loss of the map screen while accessing all other diagnostics, including all available through Apple Play. Displays are well laid out, easy to access. Great sound system. Excellent visual access all around. Outstanding gas mileage given the power plant. Smooth. Suspension/tranny/response inputs provide for a great ride, comfortable on long trips. Low maintenance cost, fair price for all the bells and whistles! Some respect please!
The dual screen works once you pair with apple play. It is functional to me having waze/google maps on top and music/radio screen on the bottom. Is easy to maneuver and you don’t loose your navigation when changing climate control or music.
Dude thanks for taking the time to example everything. Sooooo many people are quick to say that this car is outdated and I have g37 and I love it. This car is proven. Awesome engine, tuned stirring. Great video
I really enjoy my 2021 Infiniti Red Sport AWD...I have the Sunstone Red...It definitely get a lot of compliments...Its quick & fun too drive.I honestly like the interior & infotainment system..I prefer the two screens & how they are integrated within the dash...then one giant screen looking like a whole dam laptop just sitting on the dash....just my preference.
A new infotainment screen and digital display isn't that much everything else is good. It'll never look as modern as the latest Mercedes S class interior. It's a Nissan product. It also can't be extremely nice than the GTR because it would take away some sales.
I have a 2017 Q60S RS400. Im on my second engine, about 200 miles away from finding out if I'll need a third. This is the last year for this car. They arent making them next year. The guy is right, this is the exact same engine in the new Z. I cant find a solid answer anywhere on if they fixed their porous block issue. If not, guess they are just doing the warranty work. Sad for a car that cost this much. Has really soured me on the brand. Ive owned an Infiniti for about 15 yrs straight now. Might be something different after this mess.
This is the last model. Just like Chrysler 300, pretty much unchanged for years. Manufactures now a days are focusing on crossovers and suvs. So maybe you might get a good deal cause they are not selling well.
Awesome car! I personally owe a 2018 INFINITI Q60 Red Sport. Nissan fixed a lot of the problems with the new Z. One being the option for an LSD. I actually got a fully built one from Z1 motorsports installed and it changed the spirited driving completely. The car use to hold you back around corners. With the LSD it literally launches you out of corners it almost feel like boost creep. Also a engine brace, helps tighten up the steering and I'm not surprised Nissan added it on the new Z. Really enjoying my purchase. I bought it for the engine sound, exterior styling, and the advanced AWD system.
Yes. A sweet car. Several annoying flaws. No manual transmission. Insufficient gauges. No boost gauge specifically. And using steering mounted paddle shifters during a turn from a dead start, well, everything gets lost while you're revving like crazy. Still a nice car.
You are the only reviewer that realize that is how the transmission is tuned. On throttle it is very quick off throttle it's gradual. There is no kick back off throttle.
People do crap on this and the Q50 unnecessarily! Like you said, all they need to do is update the infotainment, give it a digital gauge cluster and the 9-speed. And the infotainment isn't all that bad now that it has CarPlay, which shows on the top screen and you can still use the bottom screen while its running (BTW the top screen is also a touch screen...). But unfortunately these don't sell enough, the Q60 at least, and its been reported that it's going to be cancelled at some point. Hopefully they give the Q50 the update it deserves before it goes electric.
A lot of people like the analog gauges as myself. Also has the digital speedo in the center. I like the look of the 2 screens. Don’t find a large Tesla style screen attractive. I agree with you on the 9 speed transmission
I love this car. The new Z will probably out run it but the interior of this vehicle is where it shines. Leather everywhere and the back seats let you store things not otherwise available in the Z. The Q60 red sport is my dream car. That said, I will keep my 2014 370Z convertible (it's paid for). Even my Z has ventilated seats, no excuse for the Q60 omission.
Nissan has to step their game up and I own a 2018 Track Edition GTR just an outdated interior and sub-par performance to the German rivals. Beautiful cars but they have to do some game changing things or Nissan will keep declining in sales.
I be thinking this Q60S a twin turbo V6 pumping 400hp and 180mph on the dash I think it could gap a V8 mustang wich has like 60+ horsepower but only 160mph on the dash
This is not the family version of the Nissan Z This is the cheapest version of the GTR And the more sporty version of the Q50 that Called in Japan skyline The Nissan Z is the Nissan Z. The fact that it has an Infiniti engine is just that there was one on the shelf
Depends if you buy a Q60 Red Sport used yes. 50k-60k you could get a 2009-2012 GTR for 50k+. Besides the DCT transmission you're getting a very similar car. The Q60 and GTR share a lot of parts, some major, some small.
It’s an awesome car! Not worth $66k though. I have a 19 Q50 Luxe that I bought for $22k with low mileage. I invested less than $1,500 in a pre owned JB4, heat exchanger and down pipe to get mine at or above RS performance.
I have a 2022 Q60 Red Sport but I daily drive my QX80. It's so hard to adjust from big SUV when you're high up on the road to a coupe that sits so low. I swear I get car sick every time I'm in the Q60. I can't even last for 5 minutes in it.
Does he ever take it around a corner at speed? He drives like my grandma. I want to know how it corners. Maybe the dealer was riding shotgun and he couldn't be too rough with it.😆 I'd like to know if it handles as well as my G35.
I don’t know if people that lease the cars are suckers but mine (2020) came off lease and I paid 41k with 26k mikes on it. Don’t know if that is a good deal or not but I’m satisfied with the car for that price.
Is this considered a sport car/race car? Like is there a community for it? Like how you have the M series community, Amg, RS, the type r, si etc. if so, I’d like to get one soon. I want a car that’s respected in the car community and be able to have lots of modding capabilities.
Why are manufacturers getting comfortable with the $60k+ price tag? This is disappointing, especially for a 2-door car. You might as well just get either a Mercedes or full-size V8 truck for the same price.
I’ve always been an infiniti fan had the g37, q60, etc. i stopped buying because the brand didn’t evolve, there’s no innovation a 60 gs car with what??? Ugly interior, infotainment sucks, hand breaks that you have to kick 😪 ridiculous. I’d buy me a genesis or stinger anytime that this junk.

I hate those iPad looking infotainment systems.
Good engine and exterior design. The interior needs a major overhaul though
A new infotainment screen and digital display isn't that much everything else is good. It'll never look as modern as the latest Mercedes S class interior. It's a Nissan product. It also can't be extremely nice than the GTR because it would take away some sales.
Well from what I read 2022 is the last year for Q60 per Infiniti
I guess if you get the mark6 tesla screen it gets sexier

Great car and power. Perfect daily driver with the AWD.
Nice to see an honest and fair review of what is a great car! Love my Q50RS!
Lexus and Infiniti are killing it with their exteriors then completely butchering their interiors. I will never understand it
I have one, and I agree with everything you said. It’s a great car.

Traded in my 2017 Q60 RS for the 2022 Q60 RS iLine series in Canada.
Absolutely worth every penny

Yeah, you don’t see that many on the road and that’s why I bought one love the car I have a 21
Infiniti always has a fun car
You are the only reviewer that realize that is how the transmission is tuned. On throttle it is very quick off throttle it's gradual. There is no kick back off throttle.
Just bought a 2020.
Personally, I can live without the tech stuff on the center console, but the car otherwise is really nice. Looks fantastic too.
It’s a really nice car. I am lucky to have one.
This is the only Infiniti I would drive but the infotainment system desperately needs to be updated
Agreed. To me this seems like the only area that need help. Kind of a let down. But other than that great looking car
It’s not bad honestly. It has a 13 speaker Bose Premium sound system and it’s one of the best sounding sound system ever released in a car I’d say 🔥
People do crap on this and the Q50 unnecessarily! Like you said, all they need to do is update the infotainment, give it a digital gauge cluster and the 9-speed. Infiniti and Lexus are doing it smart all that over the top tech just ends up looking outdated
A lot of people like the analog gauges as myself. Also has the digital speedo in the center. I like the look of the 2 screens. Don’t find a large Tesla style screen attractive. I agree with you on the 9 speed transmission
Exhaust sounds pretty damn good!
Stock it's not fast at all. It's pretty quick with decent modifications and a good tune.

Find a used Q60 RS AWD & tune it! So much & love hurting feelings on my way to work lol!!!
Seen dozens of reviews on this car & this is the first one that’s ever said the steer by wire system is good…!!!
I will get this in 6 months after the market crashes!
Did you get one? lol
Good engine and exterior design. Interior needs a major overhaul and better tech along with a better transmission.
Going from a 2015 Chevy Silverado, I have no problems with the interior. What are you comparing it to?
Im buying the 2022 Q60 RS, cant wait!
I have a 2017 q60 red sport 400 It's sweet
Shifts are pretty quick.
Fantastic family car to take your family out to see a movie love the red interior. Awesome car
I think they said they're discontinued after next year. Just the Q60
Love your videos man!
Nissan has to step their game up and I own a 2018 Track Edition GTR just an outdated interior and sub-par performance to the German rivals. Beautiful cars but they have to do some game changing things or Nissan will keep declining in sales.
It's just way too outdated for the price. Great car though
I be thinking this Q60S a twin turbo V6 pumping 400hp and 180mph on the dash I think it could gap a V8 mustang wich has like 60+ horsepower but only 160mph on the dash

I agree with you. It sits between a GTR and Q50.
It’s an awesome car! Not worth $66k though. I have a 19 Q50 Luxe that I bought for $22k with low mileage. I invested less than $1,500 in a pre owned JB4, heat exchanger and down pipe to get mine at or above RS performance.
yeah I like that I see myself driving that everyday 🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Q60 really nice
I have a 2022 Q60 Red Sport but I daily drive my QX80. It's so hard to adjust from big SUV when you're high up on the road to a coupe that sits so low. I swear I get car sick every time I'm in the Q60. I can't even last for 5 minutes in it.
I'll take your Q60 if you're sick in it. Thank you!
🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
Why does the price drops so much after a few years?
Does he ever take it around a corner at speed? He drives like my grandma. I want to know how it corners. Maybe the dealer was riding shotgun and he couldn't be too rough with it.😆 I'd like to know if it handles as well as my G35.
It definitely does, my boy has a g and they feel very similar to the q60
That’s all the Q50s is a luxury GTR with a tune and exhaust 🤌🏽
You did not just say a q50 is a luxurious GTR
Can you review the Infiniti Q50 Luxe Sedan AWD?
Yes, once the dealer gets one
Omggg I want it sooo bad Lol 😂 this car is sooo beautiful
I like it so beautiful 😍
Faster and higher pitched please.
2022 Infiniti Q60S Red Sport 400 Coupe!
Love it
I wish this was a hatch
It's a sporty dinosaur , but at $66k there are better options.
You can literally get a model 3 with all the options for the same price. That's a 0-60 in 3.1 and a lot more cargo space. (No FSD)
@@elbubulubu Recycled eco-friendly interior. But you could get a 2022 340i M and it would be fastest 0-60. Same 3.7s.
This or Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye
This car is way more classy than the inbred dodge, but the interior needs to be revamped.
This car isn’t worth 66k with 10k in the glovebox! These cars depreciate quickly plus the platform is dated
$51k maybe, not $66k. The transmission is lacking in performance.
Let the suckers buy it new. A used depreciated one for maybe 40k-50k tops will suit me just fine.
Now, that’s how you do it. Exactly what I did & got a great deal. Bang for the buck & still prefer the Q60 Red Sport AWD over the new Z tbh‼️
I don’t know if people that lease the cars are suckers but mine (2020) came off lease and I paid 41k with 26k mikes on it. Don’t know if that is a good deal or not but I’m satisfied with the car for that price.
@@jimmycain8669 Do you have the 400 hp or 300hp one?

Yes it is. And it's fast in sport plus mode.
This is a Skyline in other country’s
It would be good at 50k max.
👍🏻
Love the look just not a big fan of the infotainment
Nissan needs to step up their interior game. Their cars still feel like 2016 interiors.
That's a big NO
Slow down damn gave me a damn headache
Why are manufacturers getting comfortable with the $60k+ price tag? This is disappointing, especially for a 2-door car. You might as well just get either a Mercedes or full-size V8 truck for the same price.
This and a V8 truck are not the same.
The interior of infinity cars is extremely outdated. It's literally the same as the EX35 I had back in 2010
Rather the m340i. The interior in these cars are so boring . They changed nothing over the years
So why are you here then? 🤡
Somehow I find the interior nice. Especially if you buy the Mark6 screen. I have a 2017 Q60 Premium modded and I think the display will make it hotter
66,000 for a Q60? They trippin might as well get a Mustang GT CS or a Dodge Scatpack wide body they’re faster and nicer
old looking cAR NEEDS REFRESH
that is one DATED interior. Worse than lexus' IS lineup
The interior looks so outdated… its 2022 come one Infiniti!!
I know i almost got this car in gray color but decided to get 21 lexus is350f instead 😅. It is indeed fast car
