- The Q60 Red Sport 400 is the highest level of performance from Nissan. Under the hood is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 that produces 400HP and is mated to a 7-speed automatic. This is the same engine that will be in the upcoming 2022 400Z. On the outside you will find carbon fiber accents, 20in wheels, and bright red brake calipers. On the inside there is leather seating technically for 4, carbon fiber touches, and great steering wheel. Is the 2021 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 a good luxury sport coupe to buy?

Hands down one of the best looking cars. Design team did their thing.
maybe in 2015. This thing looks so boring
@@halnone no, you just have no taste in good design
Everytime I'm interested in an Infiniti product, I remember how outdated the interior looks. Always loved the exterior, though. Can't wait for the redesign of the interior.
I can understand how you feel!
Yes!!!and let's not forget how unreliable they are :( ..you'd think recycling parts and engines forever they'd have perfected every detail!!...Can't wait for the redesign as well!
Needs a competitive DCT and exhaust!
@@MrThejboe3oh5 unreliable?
@@joshuabenjaminscott2365 They are pretty unreliable...Do you own one or have you in the last 10 years? They score 3 stars on reliability..mainly ecu and transmission issues followed by the brakes and tires becoming worn out way before the expected miles of use.
Don’t care what people say, I absolutely love this car. Outside it is beautiful, sharp looking. The interior is ok for, tbh. I don’t mind the two screens, it has everything you need.
It’s crap
@@mrcuboid Sure.
@@mrcuboid My thoughts exactly
That interior is so outdated it’s laughable. But go ahead and pay over 50k for a interior from 2010

Camaro ss 1le is the best looking sports car in my opinion!
@@Dallas867 It literally is the continuation, so makes sense.
@@alwaysdriven I Chevy guy but you’re wrong. The 6th gen Camaro is fucking ugly
@@Dallas867 no the q60 is a g37. Last g37 in 2014 and I think 2012 and 13 also is called a q60, this is a up to date g37 literally stated by Infiniti and the q50 is basically a continuation of the g35
@@Dallas867 no harm, I just took it as you saying the q60 was a g35 instead of a g37 and being I own one you try to back up a car you like, my bad bro. I just thought that you didn't know q60s are g37s

Nice and raw 🤤
Saw this on the freeway and I was instantly captivated! Such a good looking car
Any infinity car looks sexy and handsome tbh
Good review as always , I think you liked that Q60 more than you’ll admit . There were an awful lot of on throttle runs with this car more than usual 😁. Again great job and your insights are greatly appreciated.
Always enjoy your reviews Joe. I have a 2018 Red Sport AWD and have to say that after three years, it’s still a blast to drive. And I never get tired of hearing all the compliments from people I don’t even know about it’s looks.
I know based on all the reviews I kinda lost interest in buying one, but after working at an infiniti dealer and driving these cars all the time I fell in love with this car. Ended up buying one and I DONT regret it in any way. Im really really glad I didn't go with a german car. Seriously the reviews do not do it justice. And yeah i had an r8 owner pull up beside and complement the looks. This car is stunning

Had this car for about 6 months, it’s fast, VERY reliable for a sporty luxury and has a good aftermarket presence. Great review!
Update: It’s been almost 3 years with the car as my daily driver and it’s still just as reliable as when I got it, and I also threw in a few upgrades for fun. Just keep up with maintenance and it’ll be fine

Once you own the car and learn and get used to all the cool features, it's so much easier and nicer to use... I freaking love the infotainment updates for 2020! Heck, I still love the dual screens and navigation in my '15 Q50 3.7 Premium RWD. The 2020 is so much nicer!

Omg I was about to comment on the last video to ask you to review an infiniti car. It worked out perfectly 😁
I just purchased one today!! Love it!!!
OMG thanks for reviewing this one Joe, made my shitty day a little better!
I’m so glad that I could help out brother!
I actually like the dual screen infotainment and layout. Good review as usual Joe and Lori!
Agreed! I've been driving my Q60S for 2 months now and it took me all of 5 minutes to sit back and say to myself "yes! I get it!". i can have car play or the native map on the top and other features on the bottom screen. Unlike the car i just got out of that had one massive screen whereby it was all or nothing. I also appreciate the hard buttons for most commonly used functions. I do not understand the criticism lobbed at this set-up, at all. It's easier to live with on a daily basis than the systems in any of my previous vehicles (Jeep, Porsche, Subaru). People need to experience it before being so quick to criticize, right?!
Loved it Joe! Thx man keep em coming
I’ve been satisfied with my car for a while but this car seriously grabs my attention and I never thought about it until driving one
Thanks for your honest reviews. Looking at a car like this right now. $70K budget gentlemen's GT... Audi S5 and this are my top two so far.
Just get it used don’t be stupid
I love how luxurious it looks
Been considering this as my next car to purchase, first time seeing your videos, loved the review, subscribed!
They are a GREAT platform on the used market vs new, it’s a bit of a stretch for the money for a new model unless a lease. I am an owner of a 2018 Q60 Red Sport AWD & love it! Just like any vehicle, it has a few minor quirks, but I am extremely happy & pleased with my purchase! Puts a smile on my face when I hit the pedal! I originally came from a RWD Q50, night & day difference in the AWD vs RWD factor & handling. If you do plan on purchasing one, get one without the “Proactive Package” which includes the Direct Adaptive Steering (D.A.S). I wasn’t a fan & lot’s of people complain lol! Check out “Enthusiast POV” on RUclips & check out his reviews from an enthusiast’s perspective, along w/ “Boost In Motion”.
Hey Joe Thank You For 2021 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 review.
In all honesty I’d say that is one of the best looking sports coupes on the market, from the exterior. Sadly where it falls behind is the interior, the transmission, the infotainment and-to a lesser extent-the engine. I am a former G35 coupe owner and really want to like this more, but it looks like I’ll be going with the new BMW M4 when the x-drive comes out in August. FYI though you can get this car for about a 15-20% discount off of MSRP. So if you just want an attractive, reliable sports coupe this is quite the bargain.
Nice car i actually think this car is underrated.
But nice video 🎉👍
I agree with you!
It is not underrated to folks that know cars--its overpriced.I got a 2020 AWD Stinger GT 3.3TT for almost 20k less then this. One sore spot is the brakes--for the price they should have had brembo do them.I replaced all my rotors with geomet cross drilled and vented and have a track level brake sysem on my car also for a lot less then this car.2021 are 60k now.
I'm a big Infiniti fan, rooting for a comeback, but I definitely don't see this car as underrated. It's just really overpriced at $60k+. Having been in one for a lengthy road trip, there was a lot I loved about this car, but the lack of a DCT is a huge zonk that took a lot away from a sporty feel. The interior infotainment as well just does not even come close to BMW/Mercedes/Audi given that's the price segment this car is in (or even Lexus/Acura).
That being said, the car looks phenomenal. Probably one of the best looking awd luxury coupe in its segment imo. Tightly designed, and very spacious for a coupe. It's a shame they cut some corners in some of the worst areas (DCT, infotainment), and priced the car so high up. Comparing this vs say, an Audi S5, Infiniti pricing/ value for the money doesn't stack up for this car.
My suggestion.... Buy it used with Low miles. Worth every Penny.
@@ratedcars7338 yeah I agree with you. 60k+ for this vehicle is overpriced for what you're getting. No ventilated seats. And for a sports car they should have offered a manual transmission, an or a dual clutch transmission, a fixed sport suspension, and a better driver connected steering system. Those are the main reasons I wouldn't purchase this vehicle. Along with it being 4k lbs for a coupe, which puts it at the same weight as the rs5. But heavier than the m440i by 300lbs. I'd rather go with an audi rs3. Have the same horsepower. Better 0-60, a unique engine configuration, better driving dynamics. And save money.
FINALLY A q60 REVIEW
idk what about the bottom screen but it looks so clear and crisp!
I already like these Q60's but I think buying the Red Sport 400 package with AWD is the wrong spec. Get the mid level car without AWD save a bunch of weight. Oh and pick it up used after the first guys lease is up👌😎
Great review Joe she's a beauty!
Love the redundant HVAC controls for when the screen eventually fails too.🤓👍
Im not sold on those wheels, but thats an easy fix. Great job joe
I know it's not a popular opinion, but I like the split screens. I don't understand the love for these tablet style screens mounted on the dash. This looks so much better than most interiors I have seen👍
Great review again Joe , five dubb family 👍 ..
Nice to see what Nissan/Infiniti can do when they get serious about making an enthusiast car. Too bad this type of 3.0T performance has not trickled into other Nissan vehicles yet (although look forward to this reaching the Z soon, but am referring more to the Sentra, Rogue, Kicks, Versa, Rogue sport, etc that are each just about totally devoid of any driving enjoyment and power).
"Is it only a long name???" Joe you kill me!!!
i see thats you love all the cars you review plus you comments about food and snacks
I love it my boy Joe keep up the work and I love the video 💯🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your reviews are always spot on... I was a long time Infiniti owner and fan. I had a G35 then 2 G37s. I felt like the Q60 lost some of the soul of the G cars. It felt not fully baked.
As you noted regarding the steering feel, the whole car got a bit numb by comparison. I miss the old exhaust notes of the G cars too.
Beautiful car though. Wish they had released the Black Sport - something truly compete with M RS and AMG . I waited for it but ultimately went and got an AMG. Infiniti /Nissan has proven it can make outstanding performance cars Somewhere they lost the drive to do it. I get it though, the enthusiast market is a tough sell... But the Q60 is great for what it is.
my wife just got her 2nd one.. so great
That is so very awesome!
Hmm, a Gentleman's car; I'm not that sophisticated, but I'm digging this! I happen to like the style with the split infotainment screen, looks classier than sn iPad setup, and utilizes the console better. Those seats look awesome. On throttle seems a fun time, for sure! Thank you Lori for another stellar video!
Love the inside door panels, and seats… really cool designs!
I am so glad that you like this one.
I have a G37 coupe and I LOVE a that they kept the big arches/ridges on the very sides of the hood above the headlights. You can see them when you drive and it just reminds you that you aren’t driving a boring Camry or Accord. I am such a fan of these cars and how you really can attain so much car for not that much money.
Edit: too bad it sounds like shit. I can’t believe how bad it sounds, but it does make some power. Everything seems similar to the G37. I love how they took everything the fans loved about the G37 and made it better. I think Infiniti did such a good job with this car.
I for one am happy Infiniti is in the midst of a full on renaissance!!! This Q60 is quite underrated and ticks a good amount of boxes!!! Onward and forward, Infiniti!!! You hit the nail on the head!
You sound like you live in the 1400s
I rented a Q60, in all places in Maine, when they gave my Jeep away. I was pleasantly surprised by its power and handling in twisties and in the mountains. Luggage space? Not good though, haha. Great one Team Raiti!
The thing I like about this car is in the inside the top part where the button is to open the sunroof there’s a little LED light that I like when it lights up at night just like what Nissan does
Nice call!
It's a really under rated. I was looking for where this light was coming from one night and boop! It was really tiny.
I'm so glad that you brought this. Thank you, Joe. Thank you, Joe Raiti, from Raiti's Rides. ;) Me thinks that $67K is much better spent elsewhere. The depreciation on this car is crazy bad...
I agree. You can find a used one for damn near half the price.
Yeah they are just like bmw
thats why u lease it instead of buying it
@@AI-qd4vb thats my point bruh you pay half the price if you lease it. i mean for sure go ahead and buy it if you love the car enough but otherwise just lease it. I heard apparently nissan/infiniti dealers are trying to push these things out the door so a lease might be smart for this particualr car. but to be honest i dont know im not an expert on this shit.
This thing desperately needs a nice exhaust system. Great vid

For the performance tho thats not even bad for a fully loaded version.
Yeah i was kinda thinking about $50-55K it would be a good buy but almost $70K hell no. I mean you could get a Camaro or Mustang with a more powerful V8 for under $50K. Maybe not as fancy but hell who cares when you save $20K.

Thankyou Raiti very nice brand this one the carlooks gorgious!!👌
this is a really amazing-looking car but the interior looks a bit boring, I hope Infiniti works on their interiors because they are on the right track and bringing unique designs that is tasteful
This is a GREAT car if you get it configured right. You can get the regular hydraulic rack vice direct adaptive steering with the '17 and 18s. Also, the silver weave of the 17 and 18's is fantastic with the dark red leather. And best of all, these can be had for the high 30s on the use market. When properly configured, a DEEPLY underrated GT - great design, excellent engine, smooth (if slow shifting) transmission, comfy seats, not cramped inside...
You are so right about picking the right options!
@@RaitisRideshave you driven one yet without the direct adaptive steering? The steering feels much better!

I have this car in the 3.0t trim white on white leather. It’s a beautiful car however the lack of sound bothered me. I added the Infiniti branded axel back exhaust and an HKS bov and it improved the sound dramatically.
The exterior is 11/10, so beautiful. Especially in the Grand Blue color, it's *chef's kiss*.
Only if they could make the screen more modern looking, it would be a complete package for me.
It is a timeless design.
I use to love Infiniti’s exhaust note in the mid to late 2000’s. To hear a G or FX coming, I would still turn my head to look at all the sexiness going past. But these days? Idk. I would like to see Infiniti and Nissan find their way though. Hopefully things turn around for them soon.
Luckily a muffler delete is the PERFECT fix
