These Palisades are off the chain! The Koreans are killing the competition..
They did already. They already ended the Japanese players (except the Honda Pilot)
The sales are a 10th of what the competition sells. Reputation and history matter.
Hey guys! Here's the 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy! How do you like the refreshed design? ALSO, STAY TUNED FOR PART 2 (WITH DRIVING IMPRESSIONS) COMING MONDAY, AUGUST 15TH AT 6AM EST!
Hi
I like it! It’s very nice! I can’t wait for part 2
@@darriontunstall3708 Hi
Hands down my most favorite SUV. Heated third row seats vented/heated front four seats? The whole family will be happy. And it’s also not even over $55,000 for calligraphy? Best value vehicle ever
I was close I thought this would be like 55-60k when I saw it was unveiled at the autoshow.
Just bought my 2023 palisade calligraphy!! I'm in love. I was definitely hesitant, stuck in that "it's still a Hyundai" mentality, but it truly is incomparable. Best deal, best quality, best service and warranties. Totally worth it, especially now that cars are disgustingly expensive.
congrats !
congrats mate 😍
🎉Congratulations!!!🎉
The palisade is such an awesome vehicle!! I have a Tucson, and think Hyundais by far have the best bang for their buck! The best three row SUV in my opinion, hands down!
hyundai and kia
I’m 28 with no kids and I decided to buy the 2022 model just cause I can lol no regrets at all! Loving it even more every single day!
Love the turn signals and those fan blade wheels 🤩 reminds me of the Hyundai Equus!!
We got ours Sunday, and drove it to Atlanta Georgia on Monday morning. What an amazing vehicle. So smooth and comfortable. My son (24) slept almost the entire ride. Well worth the money.
I like this so much more than the previous model. Probably going to be buying one of these once supply chains catch up.
Yea having standard auto dimming side mirrors is pretty unusual for some luxury SUVs and especially in this segment where most don’t even offer that feature at all. And the smart park feature was needed especially due to the size of it. This needed it more than the sonata. And yes the fugi water is a great addition to the to the bougieness of this new palisade. The back seats second and third row is like a first class airliner. This is very similar to a Mercedes’ GLS
This is my favorite Hyundai Mid-size SUV.
Good job with your reviews as always bro.
I’m honestly speechless. It’s just crazy it doesn’t seem realistic how they add more luxury on top of what was already offered and still keep the price relatively the same as the pre-refreshed model. The tech is amazing, I’m glad they upgraded to a 12.3 inch screen minus the wireless AA/ACP. The heated 3rd row and the massaging seats is the most impressive features to me an addition to the ventilated second row seats. Absolutely incredible for the price
Despite inflation too
Dealer will upcharge about 13k so your looking more into the 60s easily.
Booked an XRT... Totally loved the facelift and new trim at such a good price.. can't wait...
What a luxurious 3 row vehicle. Impressive features even luxury brands don't offer! Nice video coverage.
Thanks 😁
You and your brother does very well on your car reviews I really like watching them, keep up the good work .
Thank you! We appreciate it!
I have a '21 Palisade Limited. Great car, I like it a lot. There are a lot of cool changes in the '22. Thank you for a very thorough review!
I want to trade in my 2021 Calligraphy so bad! I love the front end of this redesign so much!
This is the model and color I just picked up 2 weeks ago. I was on the fence after trading in my 2021 Calligraphy but the more I've driven it, you definitely feel the improvement. The only thing I HATE is the haptic climate controls instead of the dedicated buttons. Also, still no power mirrors is irritating.
How much did it cost for trading in 1yr old for the new one?
@@bkpatl2532 mo
I have a 2020 Santa Fe and love it! Plan to upgrade to the 2023 Palisade but hope that Hyundai will still offer the light colored interiors in the Calligraphy and or Limited editions….
I like the 2023 Hyundai palisades, it’s very nice! I can’t wait for part 2
~$48k?! Whew, that’s a steal. I really love the refreshed version with that updated front fascia. Ironically, I’m in the market now and test drove a Sonata NLine, and will be giving up my Infiniti in the next few weeks for a lease on one. I’ve had my eye on what the Hyundai group is doing and now looking forward to upgrading to a Genesis model after the NLine. After witnessing 30 years ago the new Hyundai Excel my aunt purchased having a myriad of issues, I would’ve never thought I’d be buying one, but considering their incredible value now, so be it. - Dope review as always fellas!
Thanks!
You won't regret the Genesis. I have 2022 GV80 Prestige and absolutely love it.
You forgot the $900 (~1K). It will be $50K+ with the destination charge.
@@michaels3003 Plus the $2 - $8k markups that useless dealers are charging right now, too.
@@JoeJacksonGT3 Right.
Outstanding vehicle at the price point and extremely so for the features. I'm also a fan of your thorough and seamless presentation. If I wasn't an empty nester and my chicks all flown the coop. I would badly want this car. I used to have a 2005 Toyota Sienna Limited back in the day and this makes it look like Fred Flintstone's car. Im gonna subscribe.
Thank you! We appreciate it!
I see so many Palisade everywhere. At Target today, saw five white and one gray. Price to value 👍👍
The side I didn’t notice anything different minus the wheels. Though if you’re a keen’d eye person u would’ve noticed that there is like near an inch of rear overhang on the rear bumper. Previously it had a flat surface. It had no overhang in the back for the bumper. Just a slight detail that makes all the difference.
I got my 23 white on black Palisade Calligraphy last Thursday and MAN AM I IN LOVE!
Congrats on your new Palisade!
@@CarConfections Thank you very much!
I like these rich sounding names given to top trims. I want a $70k plus SUV’s trim to be called: Platinum Reserve Aged Exclusive Country Club Limited Apex…all of those terms to really hammer home how special you are
Actually the top of the top trims would be: Mmmmmmmm yesss Dignified Gentleman here
Or... "Black Label"
Hyundai has done their homework!! Very impressive 👍 and well done
This maybe my next suv beautiful color and suv thanks guys
I wonder if isolation from wind noise and tire noise is better in this model. My 2022 Calligraphy could be quieter.
Kind of surprised at the top of the line calligraphy spec doesn’t have power tilt and telescoping steering wheel.
I own a 2021 palisade limited. Its the best thing since sliced bread 🍞 was discovered I've own a Escalade a h2 hummer and a Yukon they all are great vehicles and offered what was cutting edge at the time when purchased but let me tell you this palisade is one trendsetter. And once they figure how to make a v8 engine work in it the other car makers will definitely need to start stepping their game completely up for years to come
Very helpful review. I am looking at one tomorrow for possible purchase. Anyone else have pros or cons for me before driving? Thank you.
This palisade is really trying to step on Mercedes toes because the piano type look for the interior trim with the white pin striping is giving Mercedes vibes in addition with the screens. The front is very bold. That was a “bold” move that Hyundai took and I love it. Maybe that’s just a Hyundai thing and the new key system is very good and overall I love eveything about this new palisade. The changes everything did was just right and basically makes the old feel a slight bit dated even though it was a very good product and this refresh just makes even more modern and finally we have a frameless auto dimming mirror even with that camera feature which I’ve seen on the highlander or and ascent.
This car at 52k is a bargain, o wish it had power folding mirrors and wireless android auto/carplay, would even pay more for those features. That's an almost perfect vehicle.
only the santa fe has power folding mirrors.
Hyundai with another homerun!!! Look at the face of this luxury barge!!! Bold!!! The interior us spot on and for the price this thing give a lot of amenities!!! Great review gentlemen!!!
Thanks, Mario!
An unbelievable great effort by Hyundai. The dash of luxury meets mainstream is something that Jeep does well, so im glad to see H/K step into the arena. This is a LOT of vehicle for the $$. Great interior in design, execution, and overall volume/packaging. Exterior-wise, I really love the updated front end.
The only issues I have are few. This is a luxury-oriented vehicle, yet its missign power-folding mirrors(that are present on the Telluride). No wireless AA/AC(on all H/K and Genesis vehicles with screens larger than 10.2"). And of course the elephant in the room, the market adjustments. The 2023s have a $10K markup in my area, which is GC Summit and Acura MDX money.
I would pay the markups. Because this suv is absolutely worth it considering what this offers
@@naveenthemachine i will say that the Palisade/Telluride twins seem to hold value very well, even over 3 years, so this may be an instance where one may not necessarily lose money.
@@hellkitty1014 if you pay over MSRP you will lose money. There is no question about that. We are in a bubble that will soon burst.
@@hellkitty1014 they hold their value because they are best in class
Power folding mirrors and power-adjustable steering wheel too, you shouldn’t have a manual steering wheel at this price point IMO… otherwise the feature set is solid.
Excellent review - thank you!!
Is that touchscreen a/c screen comes for limited 2023? Or just calligraphy?
I like how you always tell us the space between chairs .
Hyundai’s design absolutely blowing off Nissan, Toyota, and Honda’s lately.
Hondas fine because they unlike the other two Japanese brands are truly competitive in every category. Especially performance and driving dynamics and interior space
Yes I agree and not to mention more features for the price😀!!
My neighbor just bought a telluride for $57,000.
It really looks good in this silver color.
I had a 2022 Palisade Calligraphy for about a month before trading in for the 2022 GV80 Prestige. I liked the Calligraphy but hated a top of the line vehicle didn't come with power folding and auto dimming mirrors.
Have they solved for the highway speed wind noise?
This palisade looks nice. Keep up the good work.
When seen the price I was like okay that’s my next vehicle, while watching your review of this vehicle I thought it was going to be way higher than 50,000 you’re definitely getting more for the money .
Nice review. We got our new Calligraphy yesterday. Best car we’ve owned yet! So many cool features
Thanks and congrats on your new Palisade!
Congratulations , the Best Smart buy in my Opinion, Money well Spend. Its the Kind of Vehicle i would tour America or Canada with my Family , with ease my family will enjoy spending a lot of time in this Sexy Beast but off course sleeping in Hotels at Night lol..
Just got mine today! Fantastic car
Wowwwwww 😍 One of My dream Korean Brand SUV Hyundai Palisade, So Luxurious Look Beautiful SUV and Smooth Driving Experience I love the Exterior and Interior thank u so much Guys Car Confections for Your Wonderful walk around tour and Test Drive Godbless from the Philippines 🇵🇭🙏🙂♥️
Sir Marvin
I don’t hate it! Still much prefer the telluride design inside and out and I noticed with this refresh you either love it or hate it 😂. Most of the other videos I’ve looked at the comments and they don’t like updated front fascia.
Hi there, nice video! Could you please advice how to active that “Flowing Lights” or Waterfall lights effects on the side long white lights. In video from 0:25 onwards.
Thanks!
Thanks! That was just a temporary effect caused by the cameras refresh rate syncing up with the headlights refresh rate. So it doesn't actually happen in real life.
If it could have a blackout exterior package that would be better, that's why I still prefer Telluride as it has nightfall package
so u have to plugin a cable to play your spotify??
Just wish limited and calligraphy models had an option for 2nd row bench seat.
Great review guys, keep up the good work! Love seeing this channel grow!
Thank you! 😁
I have noticed that the Hyundai Palisade US market are offered with only DOUBLE Led Headlights, while the Asian and Australian are offered TRIPLE Led Headlights
This vehicle gives an illusion that makes it look much bigger than it actually is
Looks like a full-size suv.
Man if they made an N or Nline model with a V6 turbo I'd buy it! That standard NA V6 isn't enough for me.
It’s odd y’all can’t drive and review yet. I got my 2023 calligraphy On August second. I haven’t seen many reviews it’s weird that people have them already but they make you wait until the 15th. Salute for the review
Guess they came on sale earlier than expected. But CONGRATS on your new Palisade! What color did you pick?
How early did you reserve it. It's been almost a month since I put my deposit down and still don't have it
@@SubParPilot there’s no Apple play is it?
I went and looked at one it’s either this or an explorer st
The Palisade would be so OnPoint if it had quad exhaust🎯💯💯💯💯💯
The fact that they don’t have power folding mirrors but the Telluride does is mind boggling. Definitely some sort of cost cutting that doesn’t make sense at this price point.
Agree!
The nissan pathfinder has power folding mirrors and toyota announced that the 2023 highlander will have power-folding mirrors
Lol my 2015 Kia has power folding mirror
who cares about power folding mirrors? Seriouly, people these days are so petty
@@Soul_Flow_ you mis the point bud for that price ok go ahead piece of bacon 🥓
I think the only thing missing is dual exhaust. In todays market, thats what we need, just feels lacking in that area
Beautiful SUV and you get so much for the money! Too bad the dealerships will definitely price gouge and raise the price up significantly.
Three changes I think Hyundai should make:
1.) Add power folding mirrors! My parents had that feature on their 2003 Navigator 19 years ago! No reason why this Palisade should not!
2.) I agree with the presenter, make the dual exhaust symmetrical and add one on each side.
3.) Make a hybrid version at minimum. Moving away from gas is the wave of the future.
Hyundai Palisade calligraphy vs xrt. What is different?
I really like the new palisade, especially with that new grille also they took that steering wheel straight out of the sonata. They just slapped a gigantic Hyundai logo on it. also final thought I don’t understand why they have you under a driving embargo considering most dealerships already have these on the lot like I have already driven one of these Palisades and I can tell you they drive amazingly I just find it funny that Hyundai still has you on an embargo until 15 August
A budget Genesis! Nice refresh.
Would you do this the same way doing a walk around with a customer?
I love the Palisade, and this review!😸
😁
I am happy that Hyundai has kept that NA V6
Design looks like - R A N G E R O V E R - 🤩
Bonjour je voudrais savoir si ce véhicule est disponible pour le Canada ?
Love that front grill
I saw it today on the road in Montreal for the first time. From 150ft away I didn't know what it was. I said to my companion it must be either a Kia or a Hyundai when they have a bit of everything like that.
Now Hyundai needs a logo refresh.
Just so you know there is a recall for 2020 to 22 hyundai palisade and Kia telluride for potential buyers due to fire risk.
It looks like the Tartan Prancer, the car from the movie National Lampoon´s vacation
For the price you would think power folding mirrors would be standard like the Telluride
Where is the front license plate bracket go ?
For the Calligraphy trim, I would've liked to see automatic driver memory based on the keyfob used. Hyundai tends to push the envelope on luxury features, so seeing old-school buttons for the driver memory was surprising.
Of this caliber…. A Hyundai
@@jeffs6090 Power adjustable steering wheel too, the manual one is unacceptable when we’re talking $50K+.
I’ve had the 2023 calligraphy since August 2nd. No power mirrors, no power steering wheel, however I believe they have profiles. I know in settings I could set if it was me or my wife driving. It gave seat options, radio, etc depending on which profile is selected when I start my vehicle . Never tried it based on the key. I will look tomorrow. I also love privacy mode. Will not expose contact info if a persons detected in passenger seat. This may not be new but wow it was new to me. LOL!
@@cjsgamingworld7568 for 50k you’re getting massaging seats and heated 3RD row. Name another car in this segment that offers that. The palisade is far ahead of the competition even with the lack of a power steering wheel and power folding mirrors.
@@stefanb.5154Bruh stop making excuses, you and I both know that for $52K you should have those features lol… and while the Palisade is a solid offering, it ain’t perfect and lacks powertrain options like some competitors so “far ahead” of the competition it is not.
How do you put all that tech on the highest trim but exclude power folding mirrors? I'd gladly give up some of those features for that. Makes no sense.
It's a looker for sure!
I like how the ambient lighting is actually VISIBLE in the daylight. In the 2021, you can only see the ambient lighting in the night 😕
Welcome to North Carolina!
Wait, so the 2nd row doesn't fold completely flat?
Beautiful car. I just bought a 2022 Elantra SEL Premium + Convenience and it does have wireless Android Auto. I wonder why this doesn't? I don't know though.
Yup
It is so amazing
Daaaaaaaaaaamn they not playing
Sir does than have wifi?
This is great but for the money and more power and mpgs id get the CX90 with power folding mirrors
The daytime running lights and rear vertical LEDs *scream* Korean made Cadillac. This does look much better than the Kia in my opinion though.
not really. Cadillac needs some work on quality control.
Best car ever in my life of living
In my opinion, the best choice is palisade or kia telluride.
You guys should really try to review Limiteds or SEL Premiums since that's what most people will be buying
Coming soon!
What is variant colour?
Hi Car Confections You Just Forget To Put The New 2023 Honda Crv Review
Coming in a the next week or so when the embargo ends!
@@CarConfections Thank You
man...i wished that luxury 3 row suvs ( audi q7, acura mdx, etc) had offered this many features, being so much more expensive. i feel this palisade has more features at 51k, than a fully loaded audi q7 for 75k
Can u review base model cars?
Yes, we will certainly look at other trims of the Palisade coming up
@@CarConfections thanks
i have 2020 Limited, and want to swap out with newer one so badly, but wife keep saying NO.. 😌
This is 2022.. why is rhe rear wiper NOT under the top rear spoiler???
almost no suv’s do that which really says something about why the hell they don’t? Could it be because it’s difficult?
Is this a competitor to a Lexus RX?
