Yea having standard auto dimming side mirrors is pretty unusual for some luxury SUVs and especially in this segment where most don’t even offer that feature at all. And the smart park feature was needed especially due to the size of it. This needed it more than the sonata. And yes the fugi water is a great addition to the to the bougieness of this new palisade. The back seats second and third row is like a first class airliner. This is very similar to a Mercedes’ GLS

I’m honestly speechless. It’s just crazy it doesn’t seem realistic how they add more luxury on top of what was already offered and still keep the price relatively the same as the pre-refreshed model. The tech is amazing, I’m glad they upgraded to a 12.3 inch screen minus the wireless AA/ACP. The heated 3rd row and the massaging seats is the most impressive features to me an addition to the ventilated second row seats. Absolutely incredible for the price

Ironically, I’m in the market now and test drove a Sonata NLine, and will be giving up my Infiniti in the next few weeks for a lease on one. I’ve had my eye on what the Hyundai group is doing and now looking forward to upgrading to a Genesis model after the NLine. Its the best thing since sliced bread 🍞 was discovered I've own a Escalade a h2 hummer and a Yukon they all are great vehicles and offered what was cutting edge at the time when purchased but let me tell you this palisade is one trendsetter. This palisade is really trying to step on Mercedes toes because the piano type look for the interior trim with the white pin striping is giving Mercedes vibes in addition with the screens. The front is very bold. That was a “bold” move that Hyundai took and I love it. Maybe that’s just a Hyundai thing and the new key system is very good and overall I love eveything about this new palisade. The changes everything did was just right and basically makes the old feel a slight bit dated even though it was a very good product and this refresh just makes even more modern and finally we have a frameless auto dimming mirror even with that camera feature which I’ve seen on the highlander or and ascent.

An unbelievable great effort by Hyundai. The dash of luxury meets mainstream is something that Jeep does well, so im glad to see H/K step into the arena. This is a LOT of vehicle for the $$. Great interior in design, execution, and overall volume/packaging. Exterior-wise, I really love the updated front end.
The only issues I have are few. This is a luxury-oriented vehicle, yet its missign power-folding mirrors(that are present on the Telluride). No wireless AA/AC(on all H/K and Genesis vehicles with screens larger than 10.2"). And of course the elephant in the room, the market adjustments. The 2023s have a $10K markup in my area, which is GC Summit and Acura MDX money.

Three changes I think Hyundai should make:
1.) Add power folding mirrors! My parents had that feature on their 2003 Navigator 19 years ago! No reason why this Palisade should not!
2.) I agree with the presenter, make the dual exhaust symmetrical and add one on each side.
3.) Make a hybrid version at minimum. Moving away from gas is the wave of the future.

I’ve had the 2023 calligraphy since August 2nd. No power mirrors, no power steering wheel, however I believe they have profiles. I know in settings I could set if it was me or my wife driving. It gave seat options, radio, etc depending on which profile is selected when I start my vehicle . Never tried it based on the key. I will look tomorrow. I also love privacy mode. Will not expose contact info if a persons detected in passenger seat. This may not be new but wow it was new to me. LOL!

@@cjsgamingworld7568 for 50k you’re getting massaging seats and heated 3RD row. Name another car in this segment that offers that. The palisade is far ahead of the competition even with the lack of a power steering wheel and power folding mirrors.

@@stefanb.5154Bruh stop making excuses, you and I both know that for $52K you should have those features lol… and while the Palisade is a solid offering, it ain’t perfect and lacks powertrain options like some competitors so “far ahead” of the competition it is not.

How do you put all that tech on the highest trim but exclude power folding mirrors? I'd gladly give up some of those features for that. Makes no sense.

The daytime running lights and rear vertical LEDs *scream* Korean made Cadillac. This does look much better than the Kia in my opinion though.
