I wish we went back to buttons. Thank you Hyundai. A parent should focus on driving because of the precious cargo, and not have to focus on screens. Good job Hyundai! Barely any piano black. Great! Identical to my 2022 Calligraphy which I absolutely love. Sticker price keeps creeping up. I just wish the wireless Carplay/Android Auto would get enabled and I would consider the car perfect
The One button on the dash I use the most you skipped over! On the lower right near the terrain dial is a camera button. As you enter a parking space going forward, press the button and you get a 360 view to position yourself in the space. I use it all the time. Nice review!
I bought one a year ago and my wife and I love it. Great vehicle and enjoy driving it always. Ours is white and we call it Polar Bear. Great on the highway.
Hey Jesse, what about how the turbo with the wet dual clutch performs at slow speeds, like crawling along in stop-n-go traffic. I see a lot of reviews that say it is very jerky and unpleasant. How many miles on yours now and any issues, recalls, updates to your transmission?
Thank you. I have my very first Santa Fe Calligraphy on 2021 and I love it. I was looking at Honda Pilot but a guy at the Honda dealer told me that they are having problems with the entreatment system, got the Santa Fe and I am a very happy camper. One of the best car I ever have. Love it!

Just picked up my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe limited. Luckily there was a gentleman who did have a calligraphy but didn't like the rims so they put his rims on my limited. I'm really satisfied!
Gotta give it to Hyundai. They have become so good at blurring the line of luxury and mainstream(while also needing to protect the Genesis brand at the same time). The Santa Fe is a great size for those needing something just a skosh larger than the Tucson, but not as large as the Palisade. One must also remember this vehicle was designed with 3rows in mind before the Palisade debuted, so you're getting a much larger interior than the exterior dimensions would suggest(which is becoming increasingly rare these days). This vehicle also shows better with lighter colored interiors. I know that it is hard for this model to live in the same family as its popular smaller and larger brothers(middle child syndrome, I get it), but I find it to be a great alternative. Hyundai still does weird things with their lineup tho. Power-folding mirrors aren't available on the flagship Palisade but present on the mid-class vehicle, which is also smaller. And of course my main bone continues to be the fact wireless AA/AC continues to be nonexistent in H/K vehicles with the larger screens.
I was car shopping for family car after I sold my weekend toy. I wanted huyndai or kia. Toyota is boring and Honda doesn't have good design in my view. Called lot of dealers and they all want over msrp. Walked in to dealership just to look. I test drive palisade se bcz I don't want to spend lot. Sale lady said if I can make u deal u want to take home today. I said yeah. She said $38k for palisade and $7k over msrp. I walked right out of dealership. She came running what happened sir. I said u know what happened. I'm not paying not even 1k over msrp for any car specially huyndai. She said can u do $4500. I said didn't u hear what I said. I don't want to pay any over asking. I end up getting 2023 santafe sel $35800 plus $3k taxes. $700 over msrp. She wanted $4k over msrp.

@@DhavalSakaria Long story, I'll try to make it longer than it needs to be. First bought an Outback limited, totally enjoy the car, but then my wife one day said, "is that a station wagon?!?" Yeah. Honestly this Santa Fe Calligraphy is quite premium if u ask me. I mean the suede headliner for 46 grand us honestly shocking to see in this class of vehicle as well as having quilted napper leather in the class is something that u would see on high end luxury SUVs. Though it’s interesting how a palisade calligraphy is basically 1,500-2,000 dollars more than they doesn’t have power forking mirrors in the US specifically.
We have had several Hyundai vehicles. My wife still has one. I purchased a new Honda Passport Elite AWD last year. Plenty of power with the 280hp V-6 with 9 speed transmission. It has everything but the kitchen sink. Heated front and rear seats and ventilated front seats. Heated steering wheel and heated folding side mirrors. Tons of other stuff and I paid $47,580. That’s about the same as the Hyundai SEL premium AWL. MPH is 22 in town and 24.5 on the highway. I like that is a little heavier and quieter than the Hyundai. Does have paddle shifters but who cares. 0 to 60 in 6 sec. in sport mode. Hyundai does have a better warranty. Both are great vehicles.
Really seems like a nice vehicle overall. My main concern is driveability/reliability of the DCT transmission. Have read some negative things about said transmission.
I was thinkin 46 grand fully loaded for this was very expensive but considering majority of these vehicles in the class are around this price point it’s nothing. Like conspiring you have vehicles like the edge ST which has a MSRP 46,485 the atlas’s cross sport MSRP at 46,555 which can also be on the low 50k range and other cars like the Jeep Grand Cherokee which can go in the 70-80 thousand dollar price point area. So I will say these mid-size 2 crossovers can get as expansive as they’re larger 3 row counter parts. I will say some of them are worth it though.
I’m going to assume the Calligraphy is the equivalent of Australia’s Highlander trim level, i.e. the top trim spec. I drove one of these recently and was very impressed. @@CarConfections oh ok the reason I asked it because I was on Wikipedia that they discontinued the bete Cruz because they were going to ad the third row to the Santa fe
Gear buttons? I’ll pass.
I really cannot get past the center console. The plastic looks really cheap and gaudy
logo looks too cheap but the santa fe is a great suv
Psalms 34:8
No passenger seat lumbar support…are u kidding me?!?
Am I being too petty for seriously disliking the turn signals in the bumper? I have a '17 Sport Ultimate, and it looks like I'm going to "stay with the 'Fe," but I can't get past the odd placement of the lights.
Turn signals too low...major design flaw & safety
I have a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe calligraphy. Intermittent wipers are complete garbage. Read through comments lots of other people say the same thing. Avoid this car.🤬🤬🤬
I'd prefer man made leather. I don't care for animal skin seats and nappa is worse, comes from baby cows
Really? Good to know.
Engine fire comes standard
your mom?
You can buy a Audi Q5 for this price
Where
Q5 starts from 43500
@@jayakrishnachaitanyajonnal7442 a coworker of mine trade their q5 to a cx5
Lol that's a vw my friend
First
Hyundai already passed American cars!!🇰🇷〉〉〉🇺🇸🎉
Just does NOT have the exterior to be $40,000+. I was barely okay paying that for my Venza, which looks like a luxury vehicle now
your eyes need more examination
@@maga6319 come at me
@@CodeXana you need it asap.
Venda luxury?
Sorry, Venza.
I heard that they have engine problems. Hesitation
2023?
No fog lights, no deal

42K for a kia is crazy
Too expensive do not fly. If the price would be less than 40 grand it would be a great bargain. The bash boad is outdated. No digital screen panel. The exterior and speed are good I have to admit nevertheless.
Boring
Worst car on earth not at all value for money
Pass at 42k. I can get a luxury vehicle with better materials and performance for that coin
A base model
This guy obviously has no clue. Educate the world if there is a luxury suv with comparatively equipped at 42k. What a joke. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
can you even afford a hyundai with that walmart paycheck you got?
Yes but a used one. You need to visit the market. This price is more than fair
The cheap looking plastic on the door trim! Omg. 22 Mazda CX-5 signature blows this out of the park when it comes to soft touch.
the mazda looks super cheap compared to this beauty.
@@maga6319 Yes and my lungs got squeezed together when I test drove it due to lack of cabin space..If it doesn't have a turbo in it you have to get out and push.I also drove the mazda 50 and that one was worse trying to get in and out of it.
