Honestly, anyone can say anything about lifted trucks, usually they don't serve a real purpose except to look really nice and feel like you're driving a tank (just my opinion), for the off-road part, mostly everyone who owns a lifted truck likes to say they use it for off-road purposes but most people don't. I own a lifted Ram 3500 with a 6 inch lift on 37s, I daily drive it to work and don't do much with it, I personally love every second of it. I'm not a big truck guy, and my wife's Jeep is only slightly lifted, but I think a mild lift and reasonably larger tires makes a stock truck exponentially more capable for camping, hunting and off-road tomfoolery

Funny video. I live in Southern California and there’s definitely a strong car culture here. I’ve had both a BMW and a Mercedes and the Bimmer is definitely more sporty and the Benz more cush. I also had an Outback and a lot of people asked me if I was from Seattle or Portland because a lot of drivers in those areas have them.

There's lifted and there's lifted. Some of the kits that were pictured in the video are so beefy that they don't even really have improved ground clearance. It's definitely diminishing returns. Look at serious overlanders and you rarely find anything over a 4" lift.

I get on the gas and haul ass around the vehicle in front of me to gain distance and the Audi driver follows, I let off and they blow past me, then hit the brakes almost me to hit them, needless to say I reported the license plate to the authorities. I know not all drivers of German luxury cars do that but most in this town. It’s saddening

Maybe they ripped around you because no one can see around your compensation mobile and want to actually see the road conditions ahead of them without having to drop down to 5 mph to get a wide enough view around your rolling trash dumpster on wheels. .
