    Hi Joanna, I just made one of the top sections of the dress, and it seems awfully small. I printed the pattern as big as I could get it without running over the edge of the paper, and used a 1/4" seam. From the outer edge of one outside of the sleeve to the outer edge of the other sleeve, what is the finished size supposed to be?

    • @JoannasDIYLife
      @JoannasDIYLife  2 года назад

      It’s right at 7 inches high from the bottom to the top of the shoulder when finished and across the shoulders will be between 10 and 10 1/2 and the waist will be between six and 6 1/2 all inches.

    That ''dress" idea is gonna go as cute pinafore on one of my mother's dolls in her collection. I never was a girly girl So I'm not really into cute stuff comma ever practical and pragmatic If it doesn't have a purpose it doesn't belong in my kitchen takin' up space. If it's cutesy and it has a towel on it, it's gonna get used for God only knows, and he ain't tellin'... And then it won't be cute anymore!

      Putting them on a doll is a great idea and mine aren’t cute because I actually use them lol. They are only cute once!

      You can if ya want. I just like the ragged and worn look. To each his own. Happy sewing 😊

      I prefer mine unfinished and looking a little worn and on the countryside. You have the option to do whichever way you prefer.
