Lol. He sounds like Madea! Very Entertaining. Love how knowledgeable he is about hair though.
You're the first person that I've watched who explained coloring so thoroughly and completely. My locs are black and I just want to lift it to a rusty (Auburn) like color. I know this video is old, but I hope you read this and give me some instructions, I'd be so grateful. You know your stuff!
I'm dead at the frying sound affects! He need more recognition. Everything he said is beyond true

What does being "gay" have to do with the information that Damian is educating us with? Sex and Hair are two totally different things! No comparison! smh
AlwayzThe Counselor I pay those folks no mind ...

Damian Walter Well, what you've taught me was to care for me and my 5 year old daughter's Natural hair, and what products to use! Our hair is strong and healthy thanks to Uuuuuu!! 😍😍😍
Right!!! One has nothing to do with the other!!! Smh!!! This is why people miss valuable information!!!
@@superwoman3812 it does become i pull on hair when i hit it from the back
I just love him. So many one liners. Those grays will disrespect that color hahaha
Just for reference. Developer giving lift is only for color. The higher developer you mix with lightener the faster it will process. So if you mix bleach with 40 vol its gonna process in about 10 to 30 mins depending how dark the hair is. Always start with a low developer at 10 or 15 and raise the developer with each new mix. I repeat. Do not start with 40. You will damage your hair and it can potentially break off. So if you don't want your dreads to snap in half or to start peeling layers of hair off, then work with a 10 or 20 vol and just watch it and be patient. Only very experienced stylist should ever start with 30 or 40 vol.
I love your videos❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for that info about where to start!😎
i’m a 19 year old white girl with no experience with dreads and my guy friend wants me to bleach his locs so i’m trying to do as much research as possible so i don’t fry his hair off lol thank you so much! this was so informative:)
Hello my name is Demarius and I live in the New York area. I recently cut all my long hair off because I was tired of relaxers. I use to do hair but I don't anymore.Nevertheless I wished that you was here because I was looking for someone that could do my dreads...And looking at your videos I am amazed at how you take pride in what you do. I just want to say your work looks great...
Im here for the chip crunching sound effects. So wish Damian was in Atlanta😞

Damien u better be in Md cause I need sumone like u a real professional n U know Wht u doing 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for the educational videos. I’m just starting locs. Going into the 4th week. I no when watching videos I have to pick and choose who make sense. One video said they oiled scalp, styled hair and kept playing with it in the first week. Well there hair must have loc’d super fast. I didn’t mess w mine much bc it felt loose. The 2nd time @shop it was twisted different bc it was a different person. And I love the way he did my hair. It was twisted way tighter.
I was hoping I could color my hair sooner but I will wait. I am a blonde in need of a re-touch. You said wait about 6 mos. The 2nd guy that did my hair told me I should wait. The guy that started my locs didn’t give me any info on managing my locs.
Can you recommend a shop in Chicago?
Damian you are the truth!
think has ben the most helpful video yet i do have one qeustion myvhairbis dark dark brown and i want to make it red how long after bleaching my dreads can i die the red
when you was showing the first video i got tingles bc ik it feel good 🥴
so informative and hilarious
this man is straight speaking facts, where im at theres a bunch of white salonist so im trying to get the most to break it down to them, not being racist to them their jus not used to bleaching dreads etc ive talked to a lot of them. would fr want him to do mine tho
OMG!!! MacDonald's double cheese color. LOL..... I wish you would come to Arizona and do my hair.
yes...please come to Arizona...this time of year would be nice...it's cooking down
Very informative, thanks !!
I just started my locs and decided to.color my hair before starting them so happy I did. But for future if I want color my locs do I use a regular leave in conditioner and deep conditioner? I know when I colored my hair before I conditioned like crazy afterwards
Thanks for the video I appreciate the info and the jokes😂
lmbo. Oh my goodness I miss you so much!!!!
Thank you very informative.🙏🏾
Thank you from a future stylist!!!!
Very informative. I love colored locs and plan to color before I get my starters. Bigen=Begin...you mentioned this in an older video...too funny!
I so wish you were in VA🤓😁
Still debating whether i should color my locks in the future. So far it seems like it might be a challenge on top of a challenge :)
enjoying the fact mixed with humour
Im about to schedule an appt!
Thank you thank you very informative
I recently let a stylist bleach my hair. She ran out of developer and added a 40 to the color bowl that was originally mixed with a 30 developer. Immediately it started burning and my locs have become like electric and popping off. My locs are 5 years old and we’re so beautiful. Is there anything I can do to correct this and save my locs or is cutting them and starting over my only option? You’re so knowledgeable I am hoping you have the time to answer. I’ve been looking up videos and haven’t found anything this video was the most helpful so I’m reaching out. Please make a recommendation if you can PLEASE!
I like this dude
Wow 😀I love the way you elaborated the dye techniques. Pls where are u situated?
I had my hair dyed not to long ago. Its not something that I normally do. I like the color but I don't like the way it made my hair feel. What can I do to get some of the softness back?
I'm looking to dye/bleach my locs to a pure white in the likeness of snow. I've searched high and low for tips on recommended products to use to get the job done as well as how to start and complete the process and maintaining the color in between time and after completion. please help. I have thick, curly, black locs.
My Dominique and I swear as soon as I saw Youre client I thought Wow She favors Me
My bucket list includes him doing my hair one day... honestly
Would begin do well to cover reds? Or what do you suggest to go back dark coming from red?
Thanks for the info.
I have been natural for years and am blonde colored. I am in the beginning stage of locking. I want to stay blonde. Of course there are many videos on blonde coloring locs. Yikes. Previously I used cream of nature permanent coloring. Because my hair is already blonde, when re-touching do I still bleach first then color and am I doing entire head?
