Fact of the matter is we're not gonna know for sure because the whole thing was cancelled. I'm only saying this would've been a better final game for Kevin Conroy.

Man a Beyond Arkham game would've been the perfect sequel to Arkham Knight. you can imagine the innovation that game would have after a present day freeroam Gotham City to a bigger more vertically higher Gotham with way more traversal gadgets that would be faster and more efficient like Spiderman 2

Leaks don't cancel projects that have started, especially with a game. A game is primarily about its playability and setting not about its secret story lines. If a story is the reason for a game then what about driving and fighting games? Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Gran Turismo, Forza, etc are huge franchises that really have no story. If a game has leaks it's because people are hyped about the game. If the leak is something spectacular it could actually make more hype.
A Suicide Squad game was hinted at in Origins when Amanda Waller confronts Deathstroke and pushes him into the Suicide Squad... of course that went nowhere, just like how the Batfleck movie with Deathstroke as the villain never got made. Have Greyson as a mentor also. Really could have been a tale not only evolving the BatFamily but Terrys rogue gallery. This game being cancelled was the worst kind of potential Wasted Potential.
When i first heard about this and learned Damian was going to be the next playable batman it was already dead in the water production wise, the concept sounds interesting and this was around the time i learned about Damian wayne and started to like his character
I feel Warner will do what they always do and retcon the unsuccessful thing out of the equation. Man of Steel was originally going to be part of the Nolan-verse, The Flash movie was going to be part of the DCU (Blue Beetle will probably also be retconned), Superman Returns is lowkey ignored on the Reeve continuity, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if we later learn SS:KtJL is a "Arkhamverse's introduction to the multiverse" or a "They were clones all along" type-deal.
I remember being 12 in 6th grade hearing about the rumors of Batman Beyond Arkham and I was super excited when I heard all these awesome things I think if done right it could’ve been good I heard rumors kite man was also gonna be a side mission 👀
I love the Arkham games so much! Arkham Asylum was my first experience of Batman that wasn't The Dark Knight movies. I recently finished Arkham Knight for the first time, but Asylum has such a special place for me! Just the map alone, is perfect for me! Arkham Batman is my Batman hands down!

Honestly, I never liked Damian or the court of owls. Honestly I think they should have moved ahead with a sequel depicting Terry McGinnis as the next Batman. Batman Beyond always felt like the truest sequel to me. Whatever the comics did with romantic subplots and bastard children, always felt like fan fiction. Sort of like what Ken Penders did to the Sonic comics.

Two face being a faction in a part of gotham is great but character wise it would make more sense for him to be more of a "third party" as in not aligned with either court of owls and obviously not with batman but maybe more random "50/50" chances of helping The court of owls on certain situations. I know two face has teamed up with fellow villians before both in comics and even in these games but it always feels very uncharacteristic of him to me in my opinion.

I am actually so happy and yet also remorseful after watching this video... I had always envisioned that a Batman game with the nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor/War would probably be like the hit of the decade, the nemesis system is so alive and just... fit a Gotham game about trying to take down an underworld of villains, even more than it could ever fit LOTR in my opinion. Hopefully WB finally commits to making a game with it, or they allow someone else who has the balls enough to use the nemesis system to make what would probably be the game of the century
Asylum completed 3-4 times loved it same with city origins was great aswell really enjoyed it Arkham knight Is the only one I finished once I was very disappointed
I kind of thought the Nemesis system in a batman game would've just been extremely annoying, if they worked it specifically into how Talons worked, that would've kind of been a pretty cool concept, actually. It just would've been annoying if it becomes necessary in completing the game to clear Talons if there is a never ending supply of NPC enemies filling power vacuums while you are trying to move forward.
I don't believe that they shut down an in-development game just because of leaks. I have avidly played the Arkham games (which in turn made me want to start collecting the seminal Batman graphic novels) and I hadn't heard of this stuff.
I prefer Batman not teaming up with anyone. Reset the Universe to a 1940’s Batman. Make it a Noir style game where Bruce Wayne is part of the game play. Solving clues, investigating, etc. Get rid of the modern day tools Batman uses and use tools from the era instead. I’d play that game rather than the over-bloated universe of hero’s who takes away from Batman’s prestige.
Me watching this video back after just getting done playing Arkham Asylum for the first time in like three years on PlayStation five and I did a speed run and solved most of the riddles that normally when I first started playing when the game first came out would take me months to get

I liked the story for the canceled game, especially in terms of lore. Regarding what happened in SS:KTJL, I must admit I was surprised by the freedom they were given to develop the story. However, upon seeing the story leaks (ironically) post-lunch, I'm saddened by what they have done. It seems they added a "surprise" element just for the sake of it, and any further developments will only make it appear as though they are trying to fix things rather than asserting that this was their vision from the beginning.
I hope they know that dropping this game, even though all of it being leaked, is just what we need. After Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights, a good batman man game would be a savior.
I feel like it wouldnt be necessary to call the next game if they make on arkham unless its related somehow. Because how else can they relate Arkham to anything? But a batman beyond game in the arkham universe would be amazing
U would think they would used Terry McGinnis as the new batman instead of Damian. It would have been nice to hear Will voice in beyond arkham game as batman beyond. But I guess for some reason they didn't think Terry McGinnis is not as popular as Damian.
They could've still had the same VA but why they went with Damian is because of their use of Talia in City. This game could still work with the passing of Batman if Terry has zero connection and instead discovers how to be the Batman. That way Batman could be an in-game rumor with small re-used lines maybe heard in a recording or something.

Batman beyond dude. They need an open world gotham with terry as the new bat. A flying batmobile and multiple sub layers added to the city. Just like the show

This game must be revived! I don't understand how it was possible to cancel this masterpiece and create Ghotam knights?! I'm still waiting for the new installment in the Batman Arkham series. Batman Beyond or the revival of this cancelled game. Ghotam Knights and suicide squad, this is a shameful game for kids. We need a new installment in the Batman Arkham series, adult and dark game.

Honestly if they do make an Arkham beyond, I can see Michael Ironside voice an older Batman as he’s another good voice actor for the role
I am actually so happy and yet also remorseful after watching this video... I had always envisioned that a Batman game with the nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor/War would probably be like the hit of the decade, the nemesis system is so alive and just... fit a Gotham game about trying to take down an underworld of villains, even more than it could ever fit LOTR in my opinion.
Hopefully WB finally commits to making a game with it, or they allow someone else who has the balls enough to use the nemesis system to make what would probably be the game of the century

Asylum completed 3-4 times loved it same with city origins was great aswell really enjoyed it Arkham knight Is the only one I finished once I was very disappointed

I kind of thought the Nemesis system in a batman game would've just been extremely annoying, if they worked it specifically into how Talons worked, that would've kind of been a pretty cool concept, actually. It just would've been annoying if it becomes necessary in completing the game to clear Talons if there is a never ending supply of NPC enemies filling power vacuums while you are trying to move forward.

It seems that this and the loss of the superman game they were working on which got scraped for suicide squad , is the reason why the founders left
A superman or even TMNT game would have been much better than the suicide squad.
I don't believe that they shut down an in-development game just because of leaks. I have avidly played the Arkham games (which in turn made me want to start collecting the seminal Batman graphic novels) and I hadn't heard of this stuff.
I prefer Batman not teaming up with anyone. Reset the Universe to a 1940’s Batman. Make it a Noir style game where Bruce Wayne is part of the game play. Solving clues, investigating, etc. Get rid of the modern day tools Batman uses and use tools from the era instead.
I’d play that game rather than the over-bloated universe of hero’s who takes away from Batman’s prestige.

Me watching this video back after just getting done playing Arkham Asylum for the first time in like three years on PlayStation five and I did a speed run and solved most of the riddles that normally when I first started playing when the game first came out would take me months to get

The leaking wasn’t what got the game shut down man. It was that they wanted to do a terminally online games as a service model. Hence the dog shit we have gotten in knights and kills the justice league.
I liked the story for the canceled game, especially in terms of lore. Regarding what happened in SS:KTJL, I must admit I was surprised by the freedom they were given to develop the story. However, upon seeing the story leaks (ironically) post-lunch, I'm saddened by what they have done. It seems they added a "surprise" element just for the sake of it, and any further developments will only make it appear as though they are trying to fix things rather than asserting that this was their vision from the beginning.
I hope they know that dropping this game, even though all of it being leaked, is just what we need. After Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights, a good batman man game would be a savior.
I feel like it wouldnt be necessary to call the next game if they make on arkham unless its related somehow. Because how else can they relate Arkham to anything? But a batman beyond game in the arkham universe would be amazing
U would think they would used Terry McGinnis as the new batman instead of Damian. It would have been nice to hear Will voice in beyond arkham game as batman beyond. But I guess for some reason they didn't think Terry McGinnis is not as popular as Damian.
They could've still had the same VA but why they went with Damian is because of their use of Talia in City. This game could still work with the passing of Batman if Terry has zero connection and instead discovers how to be the Batman. That way Batman could be an in-game rumor with small re-used lines maybe heard in a recording or something.
