One thing to remember is that in Arkham Knight, there are thugs that say "so who's Robin, does Bruce Wayne have a kid or something", which pretty much tells us that the public knows nothing about Bruce's adopted family, so he could have destroyed all the documents linking him to them before they got out.
good thinking but this could also just be because a lot of the criminals/prisoners wouldn't or couldn't be keeping up with a billionaire's familial status lol as well as the theme of a lot of the thugs not being very smart...
Actually a terrible observation, it’s just a thug, they’re gonna be that inclined to know about Bruce Wayne’s life. If it was an Arkham reporter saying it that would be something else
@@John.Wick999 The suicide squad kills batman yes, but there is speculation about that batman being a clone and that the real batman is still out there
Doesnt matter if theres a alien god, a war goddes, a speedster, a lantern, and a invading extraterrestrial in the arkhamverse. They are still in batmans world.
Regardless of whether or not the public knew Batman was alive, I think it would make sense Harley would suspect Batman was still out there. The moment she would hear about the rumors of the ”Ghost of Gotham” she would suspect Batman has once more cheated death. My only question now is why she isn’t furious when she sees Batman. Last time we saw Arkham Harley she was out for blood because she believed Batman kill the Joker. I suppose Harley could’ve gotten over the joker or finally realized she’s better off without him, but without support from friends like Ivy, that seems a little hard to believe.
It IS Bruce's plan. After knightfall protocol he started to use a less dangerous version of fear toxin. That is to keep up his reputation. Before, people obviously knew he has a lot of advanced technology, but they doubted if he is even human, considering some stuff that he managed to pull off. But after his identety was revealed, he "died" and started to use fear toxin, so people, including criminals, would think it is an actual ghost of him. About Joker, there is basically a year between City and Knight and 5 years between Knight and this game. So, 6 years passed since his death. I'm sure Harley misses him, but she managed to move on a little bit.
It could be like Brainiac Takes Over the mind of almost every human on earth, and he affects their brains to the point that they can remember stuff like bruce wayne's identity or something
The events of knight happened a few months after city, and this takes place 5 years. I feel thats plenty of time for her to get over her anger towards him, especially if she thought he was dead.
I think the best way they could explain some of the details of what happened between the five years would be by having little story/lore details you can collect throughout the game. Kind of like the city stories in Arkham Knight. I think having the collectibles be Daily Planet newspapers would be quite appropriate considering the location of this game, as I doubt we’re going to see a bunch of Riddler trophies scattered everywhere this time.
Actually, I heard that they are going to bring the Riddler back in Suicide Squad; either way, they could also have dialogue from the main cast and background characters gossiping about that, including exposition of what happened to the other villains.
I personally think it would make sense for Bruce to have hidden micro caves, as we've seen, and Alfred move to the Justice League space base. Bruce's financial assets could be hidden in shell companies and such. Alfred could be pretty safe, still remotely aid Bruce, and Bruce would have the necessary caches of gear and temporary reprieve.
i really do think that in the comic the place we see him is actually that cave, it would make sense that the manor cave would get raded by the police/argus and i believe no one knew abt the asylum cave. but granted there was also the clock tower and wayne tower propably had some sort of cave or something under it.
@@austinramsdail8528I'm sure he had time to get the important stuff out of his cave, then use the Arkham cave and the clocktower as a backup until he established a more permanent base
I’m really sad over the suicide squad game. I Think playing as suicide squad villains could be terrific had they kept and expanded the freeflow system. Playing as the villains could make for daring gameplay in terms of possibilities. But no here’s a looter shooter against aliens that made the co-founders of the Company leave
In the 135 Batman comic, I believe the place where Bruce is sitting/camping out in is the old Batcave in Arkham Asylum. Recall how it was destroyed by Ivy’s plants. The ruined environment around him can suggest this. Maybe he managed to get things cleaned up there to form a second base of operations. Plus, the Batcave under Wayne Manor was raided, so maybe Bruce knew that people knowing his secret identity would compromise the cave. No one knows about the Batcave at Arkham Asylum. And if Bruce really is using Scarecrow’s fear toxin, what better place to produce it and research it than an abandoned asylum which no one goes to? Edit: If the Origins Batcave is the same one as the rest of the games, the Batcomputer didn’t have a chair. But guess which Batcave did have a chair at the Batcomputer? Arkham Asylum
Yup. Aged terribly. But that can happen to anyone. Nobody expected them to make it THIS bad. Everyone had different expectations, but nobody, not even the ones predicting a disaster, thought it would be this bad.
Honestly someone put it best, remember when you brutally use combo's on arkam thugs or that time you were just messing around with gadget with some criminals in the game, yeah your that thug now 💀
I like to think that since this game takes place in the same universe as AK, theyll hold as true to the ending as they can to keep the impact the same. I draw it up to Harley and the gang knowing hes alive bc they're criminals in Gotham. Probably even had a run in with him.
Harly says “still using the shadows” which could mean people don’t know because of the “still” but it could be that she hasn’t had an encounter with him since Arkham/in a while I hope people don’t know but either way it’s gonna be terrifying.
This aged poorly “I’m glad Kevin’s last performance was with rocksteady. I have faith they will give his final performance justice.” They did anything but that, the way the offed him. The way they had him repeat “I am the knight” so many times and like cmon bru. I can’t be the only one that’s just like damn the way they offed him at the end of the game. Him just sitting there letting it happen. they did nothing but disrespect him. I grew up on these Arkham games, I’m standing on business for my boy bats.
Seeing Batman in that comic is so depressing, after playing the character for so many years and seeing everything he went though, just to end up defeated and just sitting there makes it hit so much harder.
"I have full faith in Rocksteady" People gotta learn that companies aren't people. The team that compromised Rocksteady when it made the games you like is all gone. It doesn't exist. It's the same case as Rockstar, Bioware, Rare, Bungie, Arkane, Creative Assembly, on and on and on and most every other game company you care about. That's not to say the new teams that wear the old names will put out bad games. They probably will, but it's not guaranteed. It just means the old thing you like is gone and is never coming back in that form again. You have to accept that.
Bungie & Rockstar really sadden me. They were my favorite devs responsible for my two favorite game series (Halo & Grand Theft Auto), but yeah you’re right. I’m kinda worried about the tone and story of GTA VI with the way R* is now, but I’ve completely given up on Bungie and Destiny. They just aren’t the same anymore.
about oracle i'm sure they know she is connected to batman since scarecrow was singing her name on screens across Gotham, i'm sure having his identity revealed hinders his job not only cuz of his allies but batman is known for being mysterious, people question if he is human or not, one time the mayor thought he was a robot and decided to try and make a batman robot themed suit, that's also when barbara begun as batgirl, it causes fear which he uses, but with his identity revealed that mysterious fear is gone, sure people are still extremely scared of him due to his reputation but not as much as before, but i've been thinking there are wizards, powerful sorceress that batman knows, Zatana, Zatara, doctor fate etc.., i wonder can't he ask them to conjure a spell that could erase the memories of people who know his identity (a little like no way home), that could allow him to return as both Batman and Bruce Wayne
@@The_Stoned_Wandereryeah what if alfred, gordon, and the whole justice league members forget him, I mean he'd be where he started when it all began but can't think there'd be the exceptions of those he knows closest
@@SasquatchJedi420 if batman could actually make that happen he totally fuckin would. I was just making a joke about how obviously horrible that went for Spiderman lol 🤣
I would like to think that Bruce thought if any and all positives and negatives regarding the knightfall protocol mostly to do with his loved ones but hey no one not even Batman can predict and plan for possibly everything.
I believe the batman we see in the comic is probably in arkham asylum since he'd probably just want peace and quiet along with the fact that the technology seems much older than the ones we see him have in Arkham knight like the watchtowers tech/computers where they're so much more advanced.
Not that I disagree but could it be possible that he abandoned the knight suit because of him being revealed as bruce wayne in that suit and hence, having to get rid/revert back to an older suit
Also one thing you might have either forgotten or didn't mention is the Batcave on Arkham Asylum. Although Argus is a huge government organization, I don't think they would have found the entrance to the main Batcave under the Wayne mansion. Especially if Bruce put down a lockdown protocol on all the secret areas that he set up for himself and his allies. My theory is that after Arkham Asylum was "destroyed" by Poison Ivy, Argus went in and tried to salvage what they could from the Asylum which led to them finding the partially destroyed Batcave which still had old equipment which led to them having possession of the Mark I grapnel gun and possibly the Bat drone. Although I could be wrong about said theory, I still think its a really good possibility that it could be true. Very interesting and detailed video which gives huge amounts of information. Very well done.
the Arkham franchise needs to end. with kevin conroy passing and mark hamill retiring, as well as knight wrapping most things up as well as killing a lot of major villains and possibly batman himself, they should just start fresh with a new batman story.
Great video, I love how thorough you are with your content. If I had to add a few things, it would be the question of why is Bruce wearing his Asylum/ City costume in the comic book when it so clearly takes place after the events of knights? Considering that and the fact that he has a new costume in SQKTJL, I think the statue of him at the hall of Justice has to be in memorial of him since he only wore the knight suit for one single night. My theory is that Batman isn’t seen for the start of the game and they keep the idea that he’s dead and that the ‘ghost’ as thugs have taken to call nightmare Batman still protects the streets but people don’t know it’s Batman and before his cutscene, it’s revealed that it’s Batman. However, that brings up the question of: how tf does the suicide squad take down ARKHAM Batman.
I think it could be possible that during the time Batman was feeling crap about his identity being revealed maybe one of the Justice League (most likely Superman talked to Bruce and brought him out of his darkness and see why he should take the mantle of Batman up again as a sign of hope Or something like that idk I’m writing fan fiction at this point but that would be cool seeing them interact in close friends/partners kinda way, looking out for one another
@@dynaguy3so dumb, I hope they change deadshot back to his original design. And king shark isn’t even supposed to be alive. The real suicide squad was introduced at the end of Arkham origins
@@slimsmellyyeah, you know, Batman would notice that Deadshot is fake in Arkham City.)) And I do not understand why they changed his race, he is still voiced by a white dude, so the excuse that "they wanted to make him similar to the voice actor" doesn't go here. It's an absolutely pointless retcon. If they wanted to be iNCluSiVe: representation is alright, but not when it comes off as a virtue signaling and affects the story.
Great video! I’ve been replaying the Batman games and I love the lore rocksteady has made. I hope they can get their shit together and make a great new game without all the loot and pay to win crap
Everything about this game feels like a massive retcon of the Arkham verse in order to haphazardly tie more closely to the SS movies. Deadshot is a dead giveaway to this, pulling a reverse Michael Jackson. Harley's design and demeanor is also a good indicator; in the Arkham games she is extremely infatuated with Joker more so than in other media. It's hard to imagine this Harley after City's DLC and Arkham Knight moving on after Joker. This all tells me that they're playing fast and loose with the lore which doesn't give me confidence they're going to properly tie into Knight's ending. The whole point of Bruce faking his death was so that he could become something greater; he mentions this to Catwoman, that Gotham needs something more now. The events of City and Knight having worn down the legend of Batman. So he would "die" and haunt Gotham's criminals as a ghost using small doses of Crane's toxin. In this form he could become something more power than Batman; no longer is he just a man, some guy in a suit with fancy gadgets. He would be a supernatural being. It hinges on the knowledge that Bruce was Batman and that he's dead now. Having him revert back to Batman again ruins that entire ending. The game being a looter shooter is just the sour icing on the shitty cake for me.
Actually Harley moving on from the Joker makes sense with what Knight was leading up to:That the Joker will be forgotten by everyone, Harley moving on from him is like the Killing Blow (or well Joke if you want to be funny) to it. Hell, we can see with Harley's own detective mode (I forgot the name for it) that Harleenzen is starting to resurface little by little, plus City's DLC and Knight happen not too long after Jokers death, City is like a few weeks and Knight is one year, while the new game takes place 5 years after Knight and 6 years after Joker died, so Harley had plenty time to move on.
I think everyone should be prepared, just based on what we’ve seen of suicide squad up until this point, to be let down by this version of Batman. I just have a feeling they won’t do his story or boss fight justice.
One thing I believe is that since all those criminals were left in Gotham when evacuation started, and they would be infected by fear toxin Batman would never kill Alfred, the importance of that to Batman is like saving a civilian and Alfred means a lot to him already Those criminals will always see and fear nightmare Batman Batman uses fear toxin and modified it and make sure it would only affect criminals or make an infinite supply of it or like a way to shoot criminals and infect them
I, for one, would much rather they just cut their losses and outright cancel SS: KTJL. It's _not_ Rocksteady's fault. Don't fire any of the developers. Whichever WB Games executive forced the Live Service model should be reassigned to a different position; perhaps cleaning and sanitation as 'punishment' for making such a terrible decision; and allow the Studio to revive their single-player Superman game. The last thing I want to hear is Mr. Conroy telling the Squad: "I need you to grind xxxx resource so I can upgrade your Normal weapon into a legendary with an elemental status effect."
Usually I’m all for giving this stuff a chance but you’re right. The ArkhamVerse I’d argue is the most beloved and recognized verse in DC by fans and to have a game that finally returns to it so many years later after we all thought it was done and to have Kevin Conroy’s last performance within it is something you can’t screw up by trying to emulate Fortnite
Thats not how business works. If they cancel this game, hundreds of people will likely be laid off. Especially after explaining to shareholders why they cancelled such an expensive game. People will lose their jobs. The world of business is not about, "preserving the nice name and honor of the Arkham name. Its about profit, and trying to avoid getting laid off
The difficulty of making a Superman game means the game would likely be quite poor. The game was cancelled due to Rocksteady being unsure what direction to go. Meaning if the game actually released, it would be just a product rabid fans tear apart and say Rocksteady lost their way. Furthermore, the expectation of Superman games being bad means they will lose money, and layoffs will happen. A Fortnite type game is disappointing, but from a business standpoint, it may be profitable. Batman Arkham concluded on a positive note. This wont hurt Arkham
A sad point to consider for Nightwing with Argus having Dick's Escrima Sticks is that Nightwing could be dead Killed in Action or arrested for Vigilantism. But like you said The Escrima Sticks could have been raided from The Batcave.
Ain’t no way they’ll waste Grayson like that… It’d be so amazing if the Batman in SS:KTJL was Grayson and even if Kevin Conroy was playing him, Grayson in the comics have been shown to be amazing at impersonating Bruce so the only logical and story consistent change should be Grayson works with the JL as Batman while Bruce is the deadly symbol in Gotham. Grayson is aware of this plan and his Batfamily. It’d explain everything but then again these are the same guys who randomly outta the blue claimed a more comic accurate Deadshot was “An imposter” the whole time just so they could ride on Will smith’s Deadshot from the movies even though they’re separate continuity.
@@ArtryomI’ve had a theory for awhile that the Batman in the trailer is dick, they chucked a Kevin line other the top and that isn’t the line in the actual game (because trailer came out after his passing) instead I theorising Bruce’s batman played by Kevin will appear in the game but as a big surprise he will have the flaming fear bat look and maybe not be mind controlled as he’s been in the shadows since knight. I know there’s not much to my theory but that’s my guess that the Batman in the trailer is dick but people think it’s Bruce as nightwing becoming batman isn’t public information
@@blistow3519 That would be one of the most badass things Rocksteady has ever done, it'd makeup for them having Harley no diff him in Knight with Ivy for plot. Again, Voice actor wouldn't be an issue, they're already both 6 feet, they could say he was doing a Bruce impression to keep Batman's legacy going. EZPZ, better than the Deadshot retcon.
@@Artryom exactly, hell dick could be using that voice copier thing from knight to sound like Bruce (I know this is all probably unlikely because it pulls to much focus way from the squad but I personally would love it, and love the idea of another Arkham game but we’re dick is batman like criminal don’t respect him like they did Bruce, dicks trying to stop himself from becoming dark like Bruce was, maybe Damian has shown up and is now Dicks robin, Tim’s of been red robin, Dicks trying to raise Damian to be happy and better than him or Bruce but you also have Jason still in the city maybe also influencing Damian to be darker like him. It’s a very battle of the cowl style story and honestly to me more interesting that kill the justice league or Gotham knights) And yeah that deadshot retcon is bs like I know it probably happened because originally this game probably didn’t start as an Arkham sequel (based on other factors like Harley change in personality) but like what’s the point really other than looks like will smith (something they definitely wouldn’t have done after the slap) like are you telling me neither batman or the Arkham knight figured out they were dealing with a fake like if this fake is so good he could trick Batman maybe he should be the one on the squad anyway. Like if they want diversity just choose a always black character or race swap a lesser known character who hasn’t appeared yet like bloodsport.
@@blistow3519 They only used Bloodsport because Will smith was too busy to reprise the role but there's so many black marksman and Bloodsport was perfect in the sequel too. Ngl, Bloodsport would've been far more interesting in this game than Deadshot cuz he literally knows how to use all weapons while Deadshot's a one trick pony. Waller could make something a weapon, he'd know how to utilize it to become deadly. Also, idk about the "Don't respect" Grayson enough since he still protects a deadlier town that is always said to make him better than he was as a Titan but I WOULD LOVE THE BATTLE FOR THE COWL game. You're right, if they refuse to give us a Grayson spin-off, next steps should be "Batman Arkham: Battle for the cowl!" Or something, they got the perfect set up. Although, I'd still change it SLIGHTLY... Grayson is Batman after accepting he's the only one since Tim's trying to find Bruce as Red Robin, Jason is still killing in Gotham and after Grayson's return, he finds this out and realizes it's Jason. The two eventually meet but don't realize while being distracted with each other... Another bad guy has shown up! We could make it Prometheus looking for the World's greatest Detective or Ghostmaker looking to settle old debts with Bruce. Either way, Grayson and Todd has to team up since these are threats even Bruce would struggle and have trouble with like in the comics. Prometheus can adapt and learn to anyone's martial arts thanks to an amazing tech visor so he'd be able to see their next move and Ghostmaker's just like Bruce and I don't see either matching their mentor just yet in this universe. Maybe Grayson but Jason definitely not after Arkham knight.
Harley says he still uses shadows because he was most likely just recently mind controlled to go out of hiding, the events of that trailer are probably taking place some time after all the justice league's been enslaved.
I feel like no one knew he was alive and presumed him dead. I would assume the Justice League helped him escape the manor in some capacity and helping the Justice League as needed. I don't think he ever came back to Gotham as Alfred mentions that prolonged exposure to the Fear Toxin can have long term psycological effects on people and only criminals were in Gotham when the fear toxin was spread meaning that the criminals despite knowing who Batman is, are still scared of him and see him all over. He may still have a physical presence in the City from time to time but using the dark and shadows to help him. The statue could be just a memorial to him as well and just updating it to match his final suit. The Justice League would tell the world Batman is dead but in reality is just living on the watch tower helping them. I wouldn't call the comic Canon as he is wearing his Arkham City suit based on the damage the suit has and Joker coming back to life would undo all of the Arkham games story. I believe that Batman has been able to make new gear and a new suit by using the technology in the watch tower to help him make it. Batman gets taken over as he was with the Justice League when Brainiac attacked and took them over but I feel he would be one of the first to be broken free and some much needed explanation would be given as to what he has been up to.
I don’t agree that this isn’t the first time Harley has seen Batman after Arkham knight because of how she has to explain to king shark how he doesn’t kill but he should already know
This might sound like a stretch but Nightwings gear and the MK 1 grapnel gun being in the hall of justice might be because they’re no longer in use because Dick is Batman now instead of Bruce and donates His and Bruce’s gear to the HOJ to pay tribute to both hero’s and we never hear Kevin’s voice in any cutscene just the tribute and it was after the screen cut to black and the line that was said is used in like every other Batman project Kevin was involved in so it might not even be from SSKTJL and another stretch of a theory is Dick is the current Batman being mind controlled and Bruce Wayne gets involved to help Dick/ the SS to a degree the only thing that kinda kills this for me is that Scott Porter who is nightwings VA in AK plays the flash in SSKTJL unless they’ve recast Dick I have a bit of a hard time believing this as cool as it is imo but then again Troy Baker played Tim and Jason in AC and AK while also playing Two face in both games so anything’s possible I guess
that's actually a pretty good point on the voice actors lol. pretty wild inconsistencies there so yeah i wouldn't use VA's as an argument against Bat-Grayson
@@BoiAlt Kevin is listed as voicing "Batman" on the game's IMDB, not Bruce Wayne specifically. he could be literally anyone and still have Kevin voice him, and just get away with the excuse that new guy has the same or a similar voice. Arkham Origins Batman has a different voice actor that's not Kevin, even though by that point he's already in at least his late 20s in the story so there's no reason his voice would change that much between Origins and Asylum. and also that comic is just a comic, it's not confirmed to be canon. for whatever reason there, he's wearing the suit from Arkham City, not Knight or even the suit shown in the SSKTJL trailer. the theory can be kind of a stretch, sure, but nothing is guaranteed right now
@@cornboi3227 Kevin wouldn't voice a Nightwing as Batman, it wouldn't make sense for Nightwing to even have a voice change and what seems to be a face change and has aged 15 years in the last 5 years. Also, do you really think Bruce would kill Alfred with himself?
@@BoiAlt I've never once said Bruce is dead. but i also think it's extremely out of character for Bruce to use fear toxin on people. honestly i kinda wish Rocksteady had the balls to genuinely retire Bruce and let Dick or even the canceled Damian have a shot. unlike the comics where Dick gets to be Batman for 5 minutes each time Bruce has a fakeout death. oh and also Origins takes place 8 years before Asylum. Bruce's voice changing in that time frame makes just as much sense as Dick's, or anyone else's. it actually makes more sense since Dick is younger than Bruce in Origins. altho to be clear, I'm not fully on the Nightwing Batman idea for the Arkham series (yes despite what i said lol) because Bruce specifically told him not to. but i can see it going any way.
They're definitely gonna give him another death again. But this time it's gonna be permanent. I really wish this wasn't the game that would be Kevin Conroy's send off as Batman.
I think Harley is calling him Bruce because I feel like they might get it closer to the Comics where they could have been working together underground for a little while and so that’s why she knows him.
I just we’re going back to Arkham Asylum because you see Batman for your first time in Arum next to intensive treatment so that means we’re going back where it began. Hopefully we get to walk around and explore it since it’s been shut down since the event of Batman Arkham Asylum. And maybe go back to it and Gotham in FreePlay or just go there in general
It’s could also be that most people/criminals still don’t know he’s alive. Like ofc Harley would know she’s like one of his bigger villains. It’s also explains why she had to reassure to the other villains “he doesn’t kill”. To the public he’s dead, but he’s probably up at the watchtower doing detective work or R&D and serves as support for the JL. Maybe he comes down once in a while to check up on the bat family.
Maybe the bat cave that you see in the comics is the one at the asylum considering that’s kinda what the batcomputer looked like an he did say in the game he keeps it around for emergencies and their was weirdly a lot of dialogue in the first Arkham game for a batcave at the asylum
I honestly wouldn't know how to feel if the suicide squad somehow kills arkham batman just because both it being Kevin Conroys last portrayal of the character and the love a LOT of players have grown to that version of batman.
Hey man this comic WAS canon. That’s main universe Batman meeting Arkham Batman, thanks to multiverse travel brought upon by a Robot he created named Failsafe that he designed to be a failsafe if he ever started killing (and also against the entire justice league for whatever reason) after the penguin fakes his own death. (Pretty crazy comic honestly. Batman survives re-entering the atmosphere from the moon.)
Sounds more like Harley hasn't seen him in a while, hence the "still" part of her line, implying she doesn't see him use shadows every night like she used to
Really hoping the SS games gives a cohesive answer to this. And I also hope we do get one final Arkham with another Batman getting the mantle, would be great.
i think it would be kinda sad if bruce revealed himself alive after arkham knight. the knight fall protocol was used to protect his allies. so if bruce revealed himself alive wouldn't the protocol be for nothing?
Not really? It's been 5 years and it has done it's purpose, even if Bruce came back he hasn't had contact with his allies for years (I assume) so nobody would make a connection with them at that point Besides, Bruce showing himself up again as Batman doesn't mean he shows up as Bruce Wayne, his identity being revealed means that his life as Bruce is over...but it also means he can be Batman full time without worrying about having a double life
1.5 yrs between the Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and 1yr between Arkham City and Arkham Knight then he gets about 10yrs prepare....Dude that's FOREVER!
I honestly dont like the fact that this game takes place in the Arhkam verse. Arkham Knight's ending was perfect in my opininon, there was no good reason to bring back Arkham Batman. His story was finished and it was beautfiul.
@@seregagerassimov4864 i know he didnt die, I understood the ending. I just think that they should ve left the character and the Arkham universe alone.
I don't like it either since they're changing things. Deadshot from arkham orgins is an imposter and blk deadshot is the real one...because of the movies i guess. Harley not still despising batman after Jokers death? Not good signs.
I really cant see Dick's Identity being kept secret. It's way to easy to put two and two together. Dick gets adopted then Robin Shows up, Dick becomes an adult and Nightwing shows up. Tim should be fine same with Jason as he's known to be dead. And people know he works with Orical but not babs so shes also going to be fine. I could see Nightwin being hunted but with how the Justice League is presented it seems like they are widely accepted even Batman so I cant see Nightwing being targeted. What I can see is when Bruce blew up his home, when they where going though the Wreckage they found the Batcave and A.R.G.U.S. was called in. Or the Mark 1 Grabble gun was found very early in is time as batman when he was getting out of an area badly hurt and it was taken as evidence if Bruce had actually cleared out the cave as I feel like he would have of all his important items especially if they are his allies as he would not know when they would need them as spear. Due to the fact Bruce is always looking out for his allies instead of him self and that's why the Grabble gun was left. I think how they managed to get Nightwingls escrima sticks would be more close to the root of he was taken control of by Starro and was ever attacked and he escaped but the Escrima Sticks where left or the more accurate one would be sadly he was probably killed. As if he was not I feel like he would be hunting down Bruce trying to save him and would have easily found him before the SS because of Bruce's taking devices on his suit.
I get what you’re saying and I agree with you to an extent but I’m pretty sure there’s another comment on this video mentioning the same thing but in AK after you beat the story you can hear thugs saying something like “But what about Robin ? Does Bruce Wayne have a kid or something ?” Which goes to show how little the public eye knows about Bruce and his personal life and it’s not like Bruce Wayne is publicly adopting kids and just immediately tossing them out into the field in a Robin suit they go through months of training at least Dick and Tim did Batman literally threw a Robin suit at Jason and said heres your one night try out and nobody really sees what Robin looks like up close this Batman doesn’t stay around after he stops a crime and shakes hands with the cops and gets interviewed by the press they stop crimes and dip almost immediately the press and even the cops are lucky to even get a decent look at Batman and Robin most of the time I’d say the only person that gets a good look at Batman and Robin is Gordon since he’s pretty much the only person Batman will give the time of day to when on patrol but you to have somewhat of a point there’s holes in both of our arguments

He returns back home with some knowledge in surgery and spent several years with The League of Shadows and some other organisations that teach Martial Arts and Assassination.
"Gotham needs something worse to defend her." Batman definitely faked his death and to work around the perception that he was now just a man, he began operating in complete secrecy, using some kind of refined fear toxin to become that "worse" thing Gotham needed. The reason why the thugs see a monstrous Bat is because deep down they all still fear the Batman, his unmasking and presumed suicide is just cope for them. Like obviously he and Alfred wouldn't just casually commit suicide... The point of the ending is that Scarecrow didn't win, he couldn't tear down the legend of the Batman and now it is immortalized as he seemingly haunts Gotham's underworld like a spectre from hell. Plus explicitly he also did it to protect all his allies from reprisal following his unmasking.
Harley could possibly know more than most criminals about Bruce being secretly alive as she was in a bat bunker when knightfall happened like maybe stuff came up on monitors like a message that went out to the bat family with Bruce explaining he faked his death. I don’t know exactly but feels notable that Harley was in a batcave when batman faked his death
It wasn't technically a batcave and I don't think Batman would let that information be know just like that Funny enough I think Harley is the only person who didn't find out who Batman was through Bruce getting un-masked in love television since she was locked in the studio, so she probably heard of it after she got free
@@blastthechaos6083 yeah technically not a bat cave but is like a temporary small set up like he has at asylum and other spots in Gotham. She would at some point find out as one can assume robin or Nightwing let her out and took her to jail. Unless just thought of this what if after Bruce’s “death” Waller and her men went to the studio like that’s a layer they knew about that’s were they found Harley for the task force and were they got the bat gear like Nightwing sticks and batmans grappling hook that we see in the ssktjl trailer
Arkham Batman does everything in 1 night lol. He is definitely the Batman that could defeat the justice league. But in *Kill The Justice League* obviously he’s scaled down so we can beat him
Great video! Got me intrigued with the story for Kill The Justice League. Is there a possibility that you could do a video on Deadshot. Why we have a different Deadshot and compared to the one from the Arkham trilogy. I read places that the Deadshot we saw in the Arkham games was an imposter. I'd like to see your thoughts on it!
Really wish we got a justice league game bc I’m sure they found a way to perfect all the super power heroes in the game so y not just make a game about them I don’t think anyone would rather have a suicide squad game
Is the sucide squad game in a different multiverse than the actual Arkham games because there’s a different dead shot or has he taken up the mantle of dead shot seen as we never seen him in Arkham knight?
I kinda thought that he would eithier retire then having azreal has the new batman or he continues as batman finding a new way to put fear into crimanels.
By the age of 35 he's Mastered 160 Martial Arts and types of assassination methods and become a great Swordsman and can more than handle himself in a fight with hand-to-hand or any other Martial Arts weapon. He's also highly experienced with battle tactics and is probably the most intelligent character/hero on the Justice League.
bro when the arkham batman showed up in front of the main dc comics counter part, he was so freaking huge lol. seriously i don't think even death stroke from classic batman comics could even beat arkham batman in his base suit
I just wish Gotham Knights was Arkhamverse, I really feel like they could’ve made it work with some comic book save for why Oracle is back to being batgirl through some WayneTech advancements
I still don't think anyone who didn't know Bruce was Batman would ever figure it out. Aside from the few villains who did, that's really it. Because in the random conversations in the post game, even all the elite mercenaries under Jason and Slade were completely dumbstruck and never would've thought. I can't remember if it was a merc or a thug who said it, but one of them still doesn't believe it and thinks it had to be another trick by scarecrow. So even if Bruce didn't activate Knightfall, there would still be a massive group thugs and villains who would just refuse to believe it. Considering he barely lets out any personal info to any villain anyway, if any of them called him Bruce during the post game, he still wouldn't acknowledge it leaving the dumb thugs to think they're still different people.
Pretty sure it's not Bruce but the Robin in Arkham Knight we see in the trailer for Suicide Squad. He took the role of Batman and went killing mode because every hero are vilain or something?
No the explicitly state it's Bruce. During the Robin dlc (flip of a coin) there are rumors of a ghost batman those same rumours extend to the catwoman dlc.
@@SuperPegase Sure but you have to wait for the dialogue to play out during the stealth segments that's where you hear the rumours of Bruce being alive.
I definitely don’t think it’s canon if it’s after Arkham knight. He’d have no reason to go back to his old un upgraded suit and we see he’s still upgrading suits in suicide squad. Plus they make him seem so old and fucked
One thing to remember is that in Arkham Knight, there are thugs that say "so who's Robin, does Bruce Wayne have a kid or something", which pretty much tells us that the public knows nothing about Bruce's adopted family, so he could have destroyed all the documents linking him to them before they got out.
Awesome point! Didn’t think of that, interesting to think about
Oh yeah, good memory and observation man
good thinking but this could also just be because a lot of the criminals/prisoners wouldn't or couldn't be keeping up with a billionaire's familial status lol as well as the theme of a lot of the thugs not being very smart...
I thought there was line where they know Nightwing was one of the Robin’s.
Actually a terrible observation, it’s just a thug, they’re gonna be that inclined to know about Bruce Wayne’s life. If it was an Arkham reporter saying it that would be something else

@@CyberChicken_ bro what?
He didn't cheat death he faked it
The events of knight happened a few months after city, and this takes place 5 years. I feel thats plenty of time for her to get over her anger towards him, especially if she thought he was dead.
She knows he's a hero and if anything would be on their side if not for Brainiac. I'm sure she'd want THE Batmans help taking down the league
Or like little bits left behind by Bruce on how to defeat the JL without killing them and what happened
Actually, I heard that they are going to bring the Riddler back in Suicide Squad; either way, they could also have dialogue from the main cast and background characters gossiping about that, including exposition of what happened to the other villains.
Yeah, that would be a very fitting way to fit the lore in this game.
Riddle me this, Harley. There are 10362581038 trophies scattered on the map
I hope thats the new Riddler Trophies of the game
I personally think it would make sense for Bruce to have hidden micro caves, as we've seen, and Alfred move to the Justice League space base. Bruce's financial assets could be hidden in shell companies and such. Alfred could be pretty safe, still remotely aid Bruce, and Bruce would have the necessary caches of gear and temporary reprieve.
True because in the first game his cave isn't under his mansion but near Arkham Asylum so he could have way more
i really do think that in the comic the place we see him is actually that cave, it would make sense that the manor cave would get raded by the police/argus and i believe no one knew abt the asylum cave. but granted there was also the clock tower and wayne tower propably had some sort of cave or something under it.

People gotta learn that companies aren't people.
You have to accept that.
this hits more after what just happened
Bungie & Rockstar really sadden me. They were my favorite devs responsible for my two favorite game series (Halo & Grand Theft Auto), but yeah you’re right.

@@John.Wick999 When has that ever been true?
about oracle i'm sure they know she is connected to batman since scarecrow was singing her name on screens across Gotham, i'm sure having his identity revealed hinders his job not only cuz of his allies but batman is known for being mysterious, people question if he is human or not, one time the mayor thought he was a robot and decided to try and make a batman robot themed suit, that's also when barbara begun as batgirl, it causes fear which he uses, but with his identity revealed that mysterious fear is gone, sure people are still extremely scared of him due to his reputation but not as much as before, but i've been thinking there are wizards, powerful sorceress that batman knows, Zatana, Zatara, doctor fate etc.., i wonder can't he ask them to conjure a spell that could erase the memories of people who know his identity (a little like no way home), that could allow him to return as both Batman and Bruce Wayne

Considering it was abandoned it makes sense.

Well that aged like milk
I think it could be possible that during the time Batman was feeling crap about his identity being revealed maybe one of the Justice League (most likely Superman talked to Bruce and brought him out of his darkness and see why he should take the mantle of Batman up again as a sign of hope

I don't think that the suicide squad game will give us anything other than a quick Boss fight against batman.
I think everyone should be prepared, just based on what we’ve seen of suicide squad up until this point, to be let down by this version of Batman. I just have a feeling they won’t do his story or boss fight justice.
Batman is just way too op I hope he doesn’t die somehow bc it would be really hard to kill him
We know the answer now…. Wish we didn’t.
One thing I believe is that since all those criminals were left in Gotham when evacuation started, and they would be infected by fear toxin
Batman would never kill Alfred, the importance of that to Batman is like saving a civilian and Alfred means a lot to him already
Those criminals will always see and fear nightmare Batman
Batman uses fear toxin and modified it and make sure it would only affect criminals or make an infinite supply of it or like a way to shoot criminals and infect them
I have to argue that his identity being revealed was better in the Injustice Universe than in the Arkhamverse.
The ArkhamVerse I’d argue is the most beloved and recognized verse in DC by fans and to have a game that finally returns to it so many years later after we all thought it was done and to have Kevin Conroy’s last performance within it is something you can’t screw up by trying to emulate Fortnite
tieing the arkham verse into this game was a huge mistake and they'll now have to live up to expectations they can't meet
This game acknowledges Arkham's continuity, but the game itself isnt Arkham. Its like a super movie that acknowledges that Endgame happened.
I hope Batman is able to utilise the fear gas somehow, it’d be really fitting for him.
I think in the history of Batman, Arkham universe has the most OP one. A true force to be reckoned with.
My immediate answer would've been "Under some rubble in Wayne Manor"

4:27 no they not
Haven't finished the video yet but one thing I noticed is that in the new game if you look at Batmans belt buckle it has the Wayne 'W' on it.
They've literally confirmed Kevin will be voicing him, and the comic makes it clear that Batman is alive.
Stupid theory ngl.
We have had so many games about the Man Bat, but we haven't had nearly enough games about the American Captain.
Arkham knight had the perfect ending and I feel it kinda ruins it if in kill the justice league batman is just alive and well again
And maybe go back to it and Gotham in FreePlay or just go there in general
we need another batman arkham game
not without Conroy, I don't want one anymore and I never thought I'd say that. Just another batman game but no more Arkham
@@spankosaurusyeah exactly. Without Conroy, the Arkham series won’t ever be the same. Absolute legend.
@@mango-rodrigo he was my childhood he will never be forgotten

@@mango-rodrigo 😥👍
I played the closed beta and he joined the justice league 3 years after Arkham knight
These are some reallly good evidence y'all dug up. Keep up the great work!
He's residing at the justice league headquarter in space
Sounds more like Harley hasn't seen him in a while, hence the "still" part of her line, implying she doesn't see him use shadows every night like she used to
just hope this game isn’t a rocksteady version of gotham knights 😬
Probably even brainiacs he did break his hold from Darksides mind control
I think that what you said is true because it makes sense that her reaction to him is a little too casual
He’s at home. Washing his tights.
there's a ton of stuff in arkham knights that play into a lot of this stuff as well. not that it's a great game bt any means, but more lore lol
Not really? It's been 5 years and it has done it's purpose, even if Bruce came back he hasn't had contact with his allies for years (I assume) so nobody would make a connection with them at that point
Besides, Bruce showing himself up again as Batman doesn't mean he shows up as Bruce Wayne, his identity being revealed means that his life as Bruce is over...but it also means he can be Batman full time without worrying about having a double life
1.5 yrs between the Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and 1yr between Arkham City and Arkham Knight then he gets about 10yrs prepare....Dude that's FOREVER!
I honestly dont like the fact that this game takes place in the Arhkam verse. Arkham Knight's ending was perfect in my opininon, there was no good reason to bring back Arkham Batman. His story was finished and it was beautfiul.
He was obviously not dead, everybody could understand that if they watched the ending and payed attention to the story.
@@seregagerassimov4864 Ok but how does that counter his comment
@@seregagerassimov4864 i know he didnt die, I understood the ending. I just think that they should ve left the character and the Arkham universe alone.
I don't like it either since they're changing things. Deadshot from arkham orgins is an imposter and blk deadshot is the real one...because of the movies i guess. Harley not still despising batman after Jokers death? Not good signs.
@@seregagerassimov4864 No shit he's not dead but there's a point in him faking his death (and Alfred's)
The suicide squad cannot be an arkham continuation, it would be so bad if it was because of the pathetic ending for Bruce.
Suicide Squad was supposed to come out in 2022.......man gaming really took a wrong turn after the pandemic
Year 1 - 8yr old Bruce is Found in "Crime Alley"
Year 10 - 18 yr old Bruce Wayne starts learning skills in criminal psychology, medicine, and Martial-Arts from various people around the world 🌎. He returns back home with some knowledge in surgery and spent several years with The League of Shadows and some other organisations that teach Martial Arts and Assassination.
"Gotham needs something worse to defend her."
Batman definitely faked his death and to work around the perception that he was now just a man, he began operating in complete secrecy, using some kind of refined fear toxin to become that "worse" thing Gotham needed. Plus explicitly he also did it to protect all his allies from reprisal following his unmasking.
great detective work on this video
Cool. Now explain the deadshot race change.
apparently the one in origins and city was an imposter...yeah
Harley could possibly know more than most criminals about Bruce being secretly alive as she was in a bat bunker when knightfall happened like maybe stuff came up on monitors like a message that went out to the bat family with Bruce explaining he faked his death. I don’t know exactly but feels notable that Harley was in a batcave when batman faked his death
It wasn't technically a batcave and I don't think Batman would let that information be know just like that
Funny enough I think Harley is the only person who didn't find out who Batman was through Bruce getting un-masked in love television since she was locked in the studio, so she probably heard of it after she got free
Yea that’s a great question
7:50 - imagine it's just Nightwing's sticks from Harley Quinn's dlc in Knight lmao
The end of Arkham Knight the police department learned Oracle worked for Batman.
bro when the arkham batman showed up in front of the main dc comics counter part, he was so freaking huge lol. seriously i don't think even death stroke from classic batman comics could even beat arkham batman in his base suit
I just wish Gotham Knights was Arkhamverse, I really feel like they could’ve made it work with some comic book save for why Oracle is back to being batgirl through some WayneTech advancements
I MISS YOU KEVIN
easy to explain: Hush was a wildcard. probably the reason why he did not surrender him to GCPD for future plans.
@@baki484 I don't remember those DLC, it's been years. I'll try to get back in there at some point! Thank you for giving me hype once more ahah
Plus they make him seem so old and fucked
l very hope that we will get a trailer for the game at gamescom at the end of this month since the game is still six months away
