@@MobiusTrigger7Batman defeated an army, a good amount of the villain gallery, which includes Harley Quinn, so 4 people defeating Batman with mind games or whatever isn't good writing. I ain't no Batman fanatic, but i can tell when the games writing is bad, ssktj has horrible writing, horrible boss fights, and repeatable gameplay that gets boring after a few minutes.

1:36 Well, the team consisted of Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn is the Gotham City Sirens. The Birds of Prey are generally consisted of Barbara Gordon (both as Oracle and Batgirl), Black Canary and Huntress along with other members and in the most recent run Harley was temporarily a member.

This version of batman is actually my favorite because he isn't brooding and is happy but hearing his diary log shown me that he had struggles and bumps and turns but at the end gain a good life and family and learned to be more open like he started his mission alone and broken but those 4 incling Alfred healed him and gave him a family he didn't know he would have

I was really confused too, I looked up Gotham Knights Adam Sandler to see if he lent his voice to any of the characters, but I don't see any connection anywhere.

Actually the S.K animal shelter according to the in-game lore is a shelter opened in the 80s that Bruce, Dick, and Alfred got Ace from that Bruce regularly donates to and there's a reference to Selina as there's a "young lady" that stops by to see the cats and always donates money and food every week.
I agree in this version of Batman though and even as Bruce Wayne he was the billionaire, playboy, and more specifically the philanthropist that Bruce Wayne should be. The in-game lore for the landmarks even shows this and dialog says he was involved with many charities. Though I wish he wasn't so suicidal. He had many opportunities to survive but doesn't really take them even in the end where he could've lived and saved the family.
And Bruce and Jason's relationship is honestly the way it should be in the comics now. Jason here has matured and moved on with his life instead of instigating fights with the family and Bruce and his arc in the game he's grown to accept that everyone similar to Bruce isn't going to treat him like he was going to snap
Gotham Knights would've been a good way to continue the Arkhamverse. I wish Rocksteady made that instead of Wack Squad.

I loved Gotham knights when it came out in 2022. I played day one it was one of my favorite games of 2022 it got unnecessary hate, and it's an amazing game. I really want a sequel

I will say, even though I did not enjoy Gotham nights, I do like how they portrayed Batman for the most part even if he is barely in the game.
From the little bit we see he definitely feels like he has become a proud happy father figure. Or at least as happy as Batman can get
as much as I dislike Gotham Knights' gameplay and UI, I do think its characters and dialogue are great and the story is fairly decent as well as the map, miles better than SSKTJL. I think a game focused around Batman in this universe would work great especially if it was arkham esc
I honestly enjoyed Gotham Knights. I know I’m in the minority there. As said in the video, the characterizations were great (loved how they twisted Clayface’s search for identity). The graphics are not the best, but there something with the environmental designs like Star Labs, the court’s layout or the Penguin’s club that stuck with me. The gameplay is nothing special. It’s not good, it’s not bad. Sometimes you’ll have fun, sometimes it can bother you, really depends. Overall, it wasn’t the best game, but I had some enjoyment to be honest.
Catwoman harley and ivy are NOT the birds of prey. Birds if prey are oracle huntress and canary. Youre thinking of gotham city sirens.

This Batman is more like the one from the webtoon "Batman: Wayne Family Adventure". If you like that version of Batman then you might like that one too
Honestly I never hated Gotham Knights it was a bit lackluster but I liked the characters and interactions I honestly think if they worked on the gameplay a bit more maybe a remaster in a couple years and fix all the stuff that went wrong
Highly unlikely that Catwoman and Batman were in a relationship at the time the game took place. If that had been the case then she would have been too important to not have been brought up in conversation. That hasn't even been the case in the comics for years. It's a little too much of wish fulfilment to say they were in a real in the game.

I say it like thrice a day but I loved this game and am its staunchest defender, which is why I’m so happy someone finally made a lore video for Gotham Knights - the characterization, backstories and lore about Gotham in general are amazing and I’ve been looking to talk about it for ages lmao
This game’s Batman is great, but I love this game’s Bruce even more. Like you said, recently all we’ve seen is brooding Batman that is more Bat than he is Bruce. Nothing wrong with that per se, but I love versions where he tries to be a good father and has a good relationship with his kids. That final cutscene had me ugly crying when I first played the game. It just summed up Bruce’s character and the family’s relationships with each other perfectly.
I actually enjoyed Gotham knights and I hope that they continue it in some way
I do think that until his death, this was one of the most successful careers we’ve been Bruce have as Batman
I think they missed an opportunity for not putting deathstroke in this game as dlc or something.

one of the reason why arkham batman have a distance with his allies is because of the joker infection.
As far as catwoman is concerned, Jason says when examining the diamonds that the the gcpd managed to cut her claws. So there's hinting at a chance she's somewhere in the gcpd cells or blackgate prison and possibly broke out. Or maybe is serving her time like Cobblepot did.
i found out that huntress is around during Arkham night in the clock tower office you can find messages on a computer between Barbra and huntress

I just cant get over the fact that Batman in Gotham Knights literilly kills the Court of Owls not even just the Talons but the corrupt rich members as well after Robin even brings up he dosent kill people. Plus the side mission villians wernt the best Mr freeze frezing the emtire world after being dumped by nora, clayface just trying to be whole again, harley quinn i dont understand her plan, and turns out the main villian is just talia al ghul who in the end just escapes plus the whole being penguin errend boy.
Bat Jason dying was actually Jason's fault and mostly Jokers fault. It has been shown that way in the comics. Batman blaming himself is classific batman. He blames himself for his parents death.
Gotham Knights wasn’t perfect but I did think it was fun to kill time too.

I will say that one thing I like with the lore of Gotham Knights over the Arkham games is that Batman has been around for 15 years. It is to me, a lot more realistic than Batman being around for 10 years at that point in Arkham Knight. With the whole Arkham series taking place over 10 years, it feels like so much essential lore was crammed in 10 years like all the Robins, Batgirl, etc. Also, without the audio tapes establishing more depth for the characters, it would have made the members of the Batfamily seem like stand ins for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles basically
Quick question. I played this game but never got into it enough to finish it. Just got repetitive for me really quick and I remember being upset that you couldn’t atleast glide in the beginning of the game with batgirl because I hadn’t unlocked the ability 😂 but I just realized how was she able to walk in this game if she was oracle before? Did she still get shot and paralyzed by joker? How did she recover?
I definitely like the characters in this game even if the game isn’t that great the characters are probably the biggest highlight
It’s still so crazy a game that could easily follow up on the ending to Arkham knight wasn’t part of the Arkhamverse, but the game where you play as the suicide squad, fighting against THE JUSTICE LEAGUE, is part of the arkhamverse
Even IF the game was good, written incredibly well, followed up perfectly in terms of gameplay, etc, I still would ask why they chose to have it be a new entry to the Arkham universe

Honestly definitely enjoy the BatFamily and lore references that Gotham Knights dishes out. Especially different dialogue for each character in different parts of the game.
Personally, I thought Gotham Knights had a solid game that could've been expanded on by DLC or something to that nature.
Really a shame both this game and SSKTJL turned/are turning out pretty meh. I still like both games tho.

It would have been great if it was arkham related. Damn, they could have just copyed and pasted the arkham knight map. Change a feel things, add some new feel things and use the arkham combat and timeline. It would have been easier and cooler. Like they did with Arkham Origins.

I dunno, I don't like how they showcase Nightwing as a moron at some moments, like when Tim and Barb are discussing evidence he acts like he doesn't know what is going on at all. And the gameplay, I can't really it's super grindy and tedious to get the skills and traversal for all characters.

No she didn't Batman let himself get caught in that DLC. Harley has never beaten Batman in 1v1 fight in the Arkhamverse. She caught him off guard. She basically got lucky.

Eh while ssktjl did ruin arkhamverse I also dont care for Gothem Knights had batman break his no kill rule, weird out of place speach by batman at the end if game before he murders the court of owls and himsepf, the court of owls were mere shadows of there comic selfs if even that, to many live service eliments and missions all in all not tye worst but Ill stick with tye Arkham games minus ssktjl of course and hope we get another better shot at the Court of Owls in the future
I neither played Gotham Knights nor SSKTJL. But watching cutscenes of Gotham Knights was enjoyable. Whereas watching SSKTJL cutscenes felt retarded.
Only good moments in SSKTJL were superman killing wonder woman, flash killing Luther, flash intimidating the suicide squad, batman scaring the suicide squad and flash saving the suicide squad from batman. That's it. Everything else was like it's written by someone high on literal shit.
There was no shortage of good and cool moments in Gotham Knights.
