stock football rods

top ring 0.026
second ring 0.028
Awesome build. What RPM did y’all spin it to?
Edit: Found it out, 6,400 RPM. That’s really cool considering it has no problems with the stock bearing clearances that many say is too tight for this crank.
The bearings that are still in this engine are the stock one's from Ford and where a little on the worn side I used plasti Gage and it was 0025 so a little loose so I use 15w40 oil and no problems so far has 50 lbs hot
Congratulations! Been checking youtube every now and then to see if the dyno video was up yet. Thats great power for what the motor is, pulls hard too which is evident from your driving video when you got on it and rolled into boost.
To be honest I was surprised at the power out put at a 15 percent correction factor it's over 700 motor new video up at 1 am
Doing a almost SBE 351w, adding forged pistons. GT40p heads, 499/512 hydraulic flat tappet cam, blow through 650 Holley, GT45 turbo. Id be ecstatic with those numbers in my 85 Ranger!

@@brawler3475.0 yeah I would have been very happy with thos%e numbers as well, hell I was happy with my numbers and they were 200hp less 🤣 which I have made some changes since then which should net me lots more ponies I hope, it sure feels stronger for sure but not 630 hp strong 😂

The funny thing is and this is without exaggeration every single time I can go to the track it rains and gets cancelled I hope to go to Alabama the 20th to a test and tune on the 22nd if it gets rained out I quit 😂

12 lbs were in the waste gate and I was running 112 octane fuel just to be safe 👍

Boost was 12 lbs on gate timing was 20 degrees locked out was running 112 octane fuel rev limit was 6400
So now that you know what its making do you plan on putting more boost to it to make more hp n tq ????
I would like to see at least 700 wheel or more this winter I might do some upgrades

@@raulh802 completely stock short block the only modification was ring gap 0.026 top ring and 0.028 second ring and valve clearance. I have very large values 2.08 intake 1.60 exhaust

Was only 12 lbs on dyno I don't think 627 at the wheels is bad at all for sbe 351w
