- I install some new parts on the car then take it to the dyno to baseline the 351 windsor based motor and was very happy with the power output.

You cant beat the sound of an old school windsor motor
Often imitated NEVER DUPLICATED....
When I ran an exhaust shop in the 90s... If I had a PENNY for every 3rd gen Camaro owner that asked me to make their car sound like a "5.0". I'd literally be a millionaire..
Nothing like the sound of a windsor based motor !!! Those were the days..
Especially with the 351w firing order
@@alexanderr1795 all 351w have the same firing order🤔
@@White_Fox_5.0 the 351w firing order refers to the firing order with the stock cam you could put a 302 Windsor cam in a 351w and change the firing order or visa versa.
I’m 26 years old so too young to know anything about carbs/fox body mustangs… but watching this has really peaked my interest… it’s different to modern day tuning… and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this car.
Shit!!! Bro you need to take a look back brotha of how things were done. It will humble you tremendously. I wanna buy a Notch soo bad just to have a badass street car.
Same, I’m 24 and while I love my gen 2, carb cars could be cool to get into!
@@wclutch Wait until you see multiple carb setups.....
@@wclutch yep I love my gen 3, and I’m a tech guy but this just looks so cool, and actually being able to “tune” it without a computer its incredible.
You're not too young lol. I'm 22 and have a carbed 351W in my Foxbody, and they really can't get much simpler. Never too late to start learning. SmarterEveryDay has some good videos on how carbs work
When he said “i hope no one comes here, i dont want to talk to nobody, just leave me the fuck alone” I seriously felt that
I like that you plan to enjoy a vehicle for what it is. Not every car needs to make crazy power numbers. The car will be still fast no doubt.
Great insight. My 17 M6 is 800+ rwhp and it’s gone from a fun drive to a technical drive. Lost a lot of the magic.
I love the coyote, but man nothing beats the sound of the 351.
It’s great to see you’re being transparent on the things that need to be addressed on the car. I’m excited to see all the fixes and modifications you do to this. Awesome video!
Definitely hard to beat the power a Windsor will make. With those numbers that should be a mid 10 second car. This is the content that we want!
Once it's not leaking from every orifice. It will go to the track asap
@@YDBT4LIFE understandably so; definitely don't want to put it in the wall over a stupid leak. I will say I'm was hoping you would choose some period correct bogarts for the fox and the D10's are a perfect choice 👌
@@ttopgt I'll let you know next week
Thanks to the internet everyone thinks you need 1000hp to have fun, this fox will be a ripper on the street 👌
@@drunkpolack7612 Exactly my bobo 383w fox has enough power to have plenty on fun on the street with a stock size tire on it with 3.73 gears slowly rolling to wot in third it will smoke the tires.
Alex really becoming a real RUclipsr 🔥🔥😂😂
That gangster notch makes some steam!! Gotta rip pretty good with that power.
I'm glad it made what we thought. That torque is going to make it very fun to drive.
That is FUN daily driving HP/TQ. Gonna break a lot of NA Gen3 10r80 hearts if they try and line up lol.
This 100% makes me want to go out and buy a nice foxbody. 👍
Man 460 wheel. A set of slicks pull the sway bars little car should go 11teens possibly 10.99 in good air
Looking like a proper sharp tech with that shirt!😁
Very surprising numbers from the SBF. Definitely has some more hidden goodies inside. Id guess 408 and a nice cam or a bump in compression
Put Cleveland/Boss style canted valve heads and solid lifters on it and really see it rip.
Sounds healthy
I used to own it. It definitely feels very good for what it is.
SBF for life, I agree completely
Thank you for complying with the clean air act 🙏
Loving the long videos!!! Very informative, as always. Thanks for the content.
Liking these long form videos. Great number and sounds good.
Beautiful notch, I had a 92 convertible with 150 Shot, Vanilla Ice special haha. Enjoy your ride, you deserve it.
Motor is gonna look really good once you get it all blacked out. Good choice 👍
Great, great video. Love the "behind the scenes" and very informative! Will be following.
Great video! looking forward to seeing progress on this fox and cant wait to see it with the D10's !!!
Happy to see this!! Can’t wait to see what you do with the car.
The timing adjustment measurement explanation is on point!
Great content as always Alex! It’s amazing what just some new valve covers and a filter can do to the appearance of the engine bay. Glad it made the power it did! Sounds amazing too
The content and knowledge Alex is bringing with this SBF is great. Got me excited to start the build on my 351c
The fox needs some TLC but is damn impressive. Really diggin these long form videos.
I am loving my foxbody that I recently picked up. Can’t wait to see what you continue to do with your car.
awesome video Alex, this was like reliving timing my old carb swap sn95. loved messing around with that stuff and taught me a lot! love the valve cover and air cleaner choice as well. excited to see how this car progresses and looks and mechanical quality.
Those new valve covers and air cover look good man. He’s got style folks 🔥
Man I enjoyed this!! Can't wait to see future updates and mods for this lx coupe!!! Love it Alex!
Great video Alex. Love the new ride!!! Can’t wait for more Fox content!
That was awesome Alex!
I'm a gm guy but love the content and feedback you give on everything you deal with! Keep up the good work man!
That's awesome. Good to see this small block Ford making power. 👍
Excellent content! Love the car! Congrats.
Great video. Well done 👍
18:00 Alex, if Exposé needs a back up singer, they know who to call. 😂🤣
Man this is an amazing video your 1 man production team gets better and better every time
Great content Alex! I love how this is going 💪🏽💪🏽🙌🏽
Love the SBF stuff I had 3 notches when I was younger wish I still had them today.
I’m excited to see the finished product once you have put your personal touch on it. I just finished a 408 with slightly bigger heads and solid roller cam. This content is getting me through till I can get up to Orlando and make a couple hits
Bad ass content on this fox stang very good power u get to 500 easy
Loving these longer videos Alex!
Awesome video!
That engine seems really optimized with a nice flat power curve and you won’t have to spin it to the moon.
Solid content as always, real life man. No Instagram filtered photos here. Love it, bring me back
Great video, love that car man. Makes me want to carb my 86. I will be watching for some tips.
I love the valve covers and breather, looking good
Sounds so much like the 347 stoker I’ve got in my Lincoln mark vii, loving this content!
👍👍👍👍👍👍This notch brings back so many Great memories I had with my 92 notch x highway patrol car
I have a coyote swapped new edge and now I want a fox haha the cycle never ends love the vids alex lund ftw🙌🏼
I remember back in the day ROH Wheels is what everybody wanted
Wow, Great numbers and video....
Awesome stuff 👏 . Power to weight ratio is good. 10 sec car as it sits.. 🤔. Can't wait to see more of this.👌 long videos are like a live stream. Keep em comin' 💥💥
Weather looks amazing there
I’m gonna be glued to this project. That valve cover/air cleaner combo is 🔥. Might not be a bad idea to just paint the intake. Tough to keep raw aluminum looking good. I’ve always painted my aluminum intakes and used stainless allen head bolts & washers. I think it looks pretty dece.👌🏻
Damm I want a fox
Loved the video. Love the car. The fox Mustang is my era too so I'm hooked.
Very cool video, thanks for taking the time to make this video
Hell yeah you’re making me want to get back into a fox 👊🏻
Good choice on the valve covers and air cleaner. Nice stuff. Nothing is cheap anymore. That’s why my notch now will stay with me for a while. Live and learn. Another thing I’ve learned as I got older was to try and not to do things 3 times.
Fuckin’ A. That little thing sounds so good. So stoked for some badass SBF content 😮💨
Nice ride, miss have a fox .
Love the valve covers and air cleaner setup too.
SBF Coupe FTW!
dang that's a great starting point. Windsor is doing work
Awesome content Alex 👍
These videos have been soo good lately!
Has to be a 408 with flat-top pistons. A bit under cammed also. My 408 made 499rwhp and 498 rwhp with a voodoo can .600 lift 241/249 2 .....050 all in at 6000 rpm.
This is awesome content Alex!
Nice video, loving the foxbody content. Keep it coming
It's a good video, well done Alex 👍
I've seen so many foxes that I originally wasn't very interested however I guess your enthusiasm has won me over on this notch.
Damn that's a clean notch love it with the bullits
Just picked up another 89 after not having a fox for 6 years. It’s nice being back in a nice reliable fox. Glad to see you messing with these.
Great content, love this shit! Thanks for the upload!
That's my favorite notchback. I absolutely love those wheels too. They look like those old school magnesium ones gassers used to run. It's a sick car brother. That stance is sick as well.
They might stay as a street set, but will need sticky rubber, Buying some D10s to take it to the strip
Your going to add timing like what !?! 😂😂😂
Power wise, it's as advertised brotha, Nice.
SBF chop + high comp will never get old.
Sounds amazing man
Love this vid!! This is what I want to see bro!! Super badass man! I want a notch so bad
Very nice. Makes me miss my old fox.
Yes sir!!! That THERE’LL definitely be a good fun street car.
I just started the video and have to comment immediately for that splendid Windsor bark! Now, to try and clip it for my new morning alarm chime 🌊🛌. From it's vascular sound I'm going to guess ahead that it didn't disappoint on the dyno either. Parts farm wasn't f'kng around with her build!
That's a fun little car to have!
Yessir!! Been waiting for this👍🏼
Great video thanks.
Gale banks wouldn’t approve your fan lol great numbers for all motor keep up the good content Alex.
Thanks it was good.
This will be a 10 second car with minimal effort, mark my words. It’s got the power for it right now as it sits n/a
The car sounds so good!
460 na is bad ass, nice video Alex!
Man… a nice black carpet and interior in that thing.. 🎉
This video makes me want a foxbody now lol I have a s197 with a v7 but a carburetor looks like fun to work on. Never worked on a carburetor before but you have to learn somehow.
Sick video tio
Good stuff, Alex. Watched every second and even hit like. Fwiw, my f100 had a 408 prior to coyote swapping. I didn't put the engine together but the previous owner did and gave me an inch thick folder of receipts. 10.5 to 1, afr 185s, comp xfi236 cam, vic Jr and a 750 demon. 436 at 5800 thru a tko600 and 9", dropped power after that. It did have turd dynomax turbo mufflers which likely cost power. I know "bigger heads" would have done better but what it is. Peeps also recommend the super vic vs the Jr. Please don't lose the Mac exhaust! I've had it on all my pushrod foxes, very unique sound imo.
Damn that’s surprising, it must be like 11 or 12 to 1 bottom end cause I just don’t see 8.5 or 9 making that much power. Unless it’s the heads that flow that good. Badass content, makes me wanna dip back into the fox game again
I'm guessing 10.5.1.. cause he's on 93?..
He said sonoco..100?..
I wanna see it does on 93.. that'll tell the tale
I don’t see that much power unless you have a stroker motor way over 400 ci or the Dyno is wrong
@@englandtra a healthy 351 can do that no problem.
@@englandtra probably a 408
@@primalscream46no it’s definitely not that’s not doable for a 351
Sweet ride bro
