Haven’t gotten that twisted dance down yet. But I do love the “triangle” over the rolls on the trailing edge. Honestly I’ve been using your packing technique for the past 20 jumps and have had beautiful soft on heading openings. And that is on a larger canopy… thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the vídeo. I'm only at 34 jumps but I love packing and jumping. Looking forward to learning more about this sport soon and maybe even one day work as a packer. You seem like a young instructor, long career ahead.

Hey can you make a video comparing different containers? I am having a tough time deciding between javelin, vector3 & iconV.

I would really like to hear more about why double stows are better because I've heard both. PD reccomends double-stows but I heard single stows on first 2 stows, doubles on the rest in my packing course

Single-stowing locking stows to supposedly prevent bag locks is a myth that has been debunked many times already

The worst part of skydiving is the hangovers, not packing 😂😂

why did u put the brake line back on the conteol toggle ears after you set the half brake?

To have the excess be smaller, otherwise its a very long loop that can get tangle on you hands or on itself

What’s your opinion on psycho pack? Essentially the same thing you are doing but rolling the canopy instead of S-folding. Personally I have done about 200 jumps psycho packing and I really like it. My canopy is not as small though, 105 at 1.8 WL

Hey! I have done it a bunch, but funny enough I never jumped it. back in 2013/14/15/16 when I was a packer I used to do it on smaller wings, namely comps velos, JVXs, valkyries but actually never on a Petra. Also although I ended up doing it hundreds of times I never actually jumped those pack jobs as I wasn't old enough to jump but no complaints from the people jumping my pack jobs, and my future mentor Carlos Faustino jumped my "experimental" variations of the psycho pack that eventually led me to start packing this way and survived with little to no complains. My opinion on it now is anything that involves twisting the bag or doing any rolling is bad. Twisting is bad because you might fuck up and even if you don't fuck up its still a weird looking thing to do and new jumpers might try it and fuck up. Rolling fabric puts extra tension on it in multiple places, causes a lot of friction on deployment and makes the whole container look poorly packed. Folds however ensure longevity and make for a neat package which to me is important because its easy to fuck up a pack job on sail canopies and make your container look horrible. Hope this helps and whatever method you use make sure you are good and consistent in it!
