I like the way you find the tail and sort the brake lines and flake inward. I was taught to find the A’s and work outward but still get lost in everything.
Yep! A lot of people do and I’m still not sure why 😅 that works for them because they know what they’re looking at. For newbies, y’all have no clue what you’re looking at so it makes it more manageable 🙌🏻
I learned easy flaking and identifying lines from one of your earlier videos, now this one made S fold and getting the canopy into the bag easier. Nice one.
Thx, Evan for this updated video of folding a parachute, and also wanna give u the compliment that you show it very clear and clean (with the upmost respect for your gear) I'm starting my aff course next month and my first tandem was 2 weeks ago, end of this month one last tandem with all my info of what I saw in my video of my position of the hat and so on to try to make it perfect 🙏👌 greetings from you new fan living in Belgium (Europe) 🤙
That flaking method is sooooo convenient!! I started my journey with Aerodyne, they have colored tabs, so it was much easier. But in my private rig i switched to PD and struggled a bit to find a good way to flake my Pulse.
@@tedbates1316 i am about 88kg and fly Pulse 170. Very happy with how it performs. Good on landings, good on openings, front risers quite stiff but possible to work on. Very responsive to toggles.
Hi! TY very much. Great video, very informative. If you don't mind me asking: It's the first time I see the bag brought to the container and then you make figure-8 folds. Usually you can see how people make figure-8 folds by pulling lines with the container towards the bag. Is your method better? Does it make different results or is it just personal preferences?
@@EvanSantangelo I used to skydive, not amymore.but I would literally just put that chute on its side the cells on top of each other, then just start from the back fold the parachute line up the lines pull the slider up the fold it to fit the bag, then put the lines in the bands and then in the pack , use my old pull up cord to shut the pack and put the pilot chute in its sleeve..maybe 5 minutes was stretching it , but I didn't do half of what you do..
@@jeffstepp-ou8re That's a flat pack, which is what I did for a long time after learning it in military freefall. Quicker, easier maybe, but to me, the opening difference is remarkable. Propacks like this are the way to go imho.
By far the best way to teach a pack job, because the student sees what he has to do from his own POV !
Great (pack) job !!!!
Sweet! I’ll make one more which is a little faster ;)

awesome dude glad it helped! make sure you're learning from your instructors first and foremost. not RUclips 🙂
Nice aditional video for the 1hr long. Keep up the good work!
Awesome dude glad these are helping! Think I’ll make one more and shoot for a 7 minute packjob video

Makes it a little bit more technical and easy to follow. Glad it helps!
How do you like your Pulse? If you don’t mind me asking, what is your weight and canopy size?

Great packing technique!!
Fly a Pisa 210 haven’t packed for a while great video. Thanks for doing this.

Holy shit why was I not taught how to bag the canopy like this from the get go....
The government wants you to pack the hard way
@@EvanSantangelo thanks obama
Первый раз увидел, как складывают парашют, не то что бы я планирую прыгать, но все равно интересно
But how do I pack in my line twist so it's extra spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Just do what you did on your cutaway 🤷🏻♂️
Good lord I used to land took me like 5 minutes to pack my chute and back in the plane..this pack is very overcomplicated.
Inflation bro🤷🏻♂️
@@EvanSantangelo I understand you had to pack slower for the video, but there are steps that you take packing I never did...
Put out your own video! I’d love to see what you do and learn :)
