Educational videos come out every week, every other month we do a Fricky stuff or Frick Gravity Swoop video which consists of a compilation of videos of that season and of course our randomly announced originals!

Awesome video as usual! Also agree about the short formats, personally don’t like them and love your long form videos with as much info as possible! It would be great if you could make a video or two about using Flysight for data and debriefs and also your pattern planning. Cheers bro!

I used to log on my phone, using an old app, but the app stopped working so I now use an excel sheet. If you watch my "skydiving hacks part 2" video I have all the logging info there :)
@@Frickflyers Dope. Thanks. I use a digital one in google sheets too. I have a secondary page in that sheet that then pulls data from the entry page. I'd love to compare my setup to yours if you're interested in sharing it. Ill share mine too if you want. I'm just always looking for ways to improve mine. /Mathias

Is there any diffferentiation or classes between normal harnesses and people using things like the mutant?

Do you have a recommendation for the bridge between a crossfire and the JFX2?
from the C3 to the JFX2 is a pretty natural progression. I'd say work your way to a 109 or 99 C3 and downsize to a JF2 of the same size

At what wing loading do you see the benefits of a Katana or Crossfire 3 over a Sabre 3 in swoop progression?
@@ayadal I’d say at around 1.2/1.3 but it varies a lot from person to person
@@Frickflyers Thanks! I still have a way to go on my 1.35 wl Sabre 2. But as I get better at 90’s I’m thinking maybe I should switch to a Crossfire 3 at the same wing loading instead of downsizing my Sabre 2 to 1.5 wl and then switching to the Crossfire 3. I’ll definitely have this conversation with my canopy coach.

The Crossfire is horrible for learning how to swoop. It recovers much too fast and teaches you bad habits that you'll have to un-learn when you swoop. The Katana is the only non-crossbraced canopy that will prepare you for going crossbraced.

@@Frickflyers I have not. I've have many jumps on a CF2 99. It was a great canopy for all-around skydiving, but I switched to a Katana for all my canopy courses.
@@jaco5187 c2 is extremely different from the c3, the recovery arc is much closer to the katana and the openings are better
