That is not a bad thing! When I make it I will be making one for me as well lol!
your must not show your self like this
@Mickey Mouse That's true, we have several recipes that are from the middle East. Even green beans, I grew up eating them in the Turkish style and didn't know that. We (Italians) were a melting pot just like the USA are these days, so this shouldn't surprise anyone. What I think is that once you tweak a recipe enough it becomes something else although very similar. Ancient cultures were blooming in the Mediterranean and Middle East, so it's very easy that many things come from them, just like China had a great influence all over the Far East.
This is the best channel for Turkish recipes in English Language in my opinion. Thank you for sharing with us!
Wow, thank you as well! 😊
Yes it is
I agree
Try Refika. She is also fab!
Hi I’m from japan

sevi seviyurun! (sorry this is Turkish learned 50 years ago.} I was very lucky. I was an air force child and my mother became friends with 2 sisters who were determined to teach my mother how to cook. You remind me of those times. We were in Adana and we were one of those families who became involved with all our Turkish friends. Oh, Allah, we had such times! You cook like I remember the sisters. Nothing commercial, all home Made and vegetables bought from a man with a cart outside, even picking the bugs out( a Long time ago).
Lovely memories. I am glad to hear those two sister determined to teach Turkish cooking and happy that I made you remember them :)
I tasted Turkish borek in Turkish restaurant which is in japan and li like it very much your recipe is so good I try it soon inshaAllah

What a timely tutorial! My family loves borek, but it is too expensive at the Turkish restaurant for the amount you get, that and my oven is not working. I will make this tomorrow when I go to the store for cheese. Tesekkur ederim, Aysenur! I really enjoy your videos, and always learn so much. xoxo Tima
Plz guide me..Which type of sheet she uses.!?.white flour.?? I want to make at home
Thank you so much. I am German and have lived in a predominantly Turkish neighbourhood most of my life. I moved to the UK a few years ago and one thing I really miss is the Turkish food. Your recipes help me recreate a lot of my favourite dishes!
Hi! MY pleasure. IT is nice to hear you got influenced by Turkish cuisine and want to keep it live. Enjoy my recipes and you might want to visit Turkey as well 😊
Hi Mrs Altan that looks very delicious! Tomorrow is my Christmas party 🎉 from work and one of my coworkers is going to make borek Albanian style, but definely will try to make yours Yamm, yammy!🇺🇸😀
Hi Delia! Thank you 😊 hope you enjoy it all
@@TFT 👍🌥
Fantastic recipe. Love your channel. I have to admit I was a little sceptical but but was nicely surprised. One question, where can I find that fab cleaver you used in cutting your Borek with?
Canım ağız tadımız nere gidersek değişmiyor Afiyet olsun.
😊 Aynen! Teşekkürler
I have been making the Bosnian version of Borek for many years now (taught by a Bosnian friend) but I can say with absolute certainty that my daughter will prefer this version. She is a serious lover of all dishes with cheese in them while the version I make is a mix of cheese and potato or meat and potato, neither of which are particular favourites of hers. Thank you very much for this recipe, and cooking it in the pan rather than in the oven is so much faster. Could quickly be made as a lunch dish on a cold day.
Take care, Stay safe, and a happy new year to all.
Would you share your recipe for dough....I love it Albanian style to call it pita
It is similar to Serbian gibanica
Absolutely love this recipe 😋 Made it couple of times for dinner and it went down very well with the whole family 🙂
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure 😊
Excellent 🥰💐💝🇧🇩💖🇹🇷🙏
Thanks!
Delicious !!! Cheese Borek. Nice presentation.
👌👌👌
Thank you so much 👍
Wow! Perfect English ! Perfect demonstration! I’m so proud of you, it’s rare for Turkish people to have flawless English! Ellerine sağlık teyzeciğim!
Thank you! 😃 Çok teşekkürler 💕
I already cooked this Ayşe and it turned out great! I made a couple of adjustments in the recipe. I added spring onion and I added white bread as a filler! It turned out well! I am pleased! A very nice dip is either Yogurt or Sour cream with Garlic! Glass of white wine in the evening or a nice glass of Turkish tea in the morning! God Bless a great recipe!
This looks amazing!
tesekkurler aysenur hanim..my family also really likes borek..im malay from malaysia and my husband is a turkish mix marriage ..your videos always inspired me to learn more turkish meals..love it
Yummy 😋😋
Love from London 💕
Bless you for making this in English, because I can’t make a regular byrek for the life of me 😅
The recipe looks delicious, and I am sure my family will love it. I have the same blue set of blue Corelle that you have, which is more than 30-years old. It belonged to my mom and she has been dead more than thirty-years.
That looks absolutely delicious! I’m so glad I found you.
Very nice
I enjoyed watching your video today 😊
Hi. This looks delicious thumbs up beautiful. I think I will surely try to make it maybe in the weekend v.good. 💖💚🙏❤💙👌👌👍👍👍👍
Hi hope you enjoy 😊🌸
Ayşenur, I wanted to find some Turkish recipes to cook, in memory of a Turkish dear friend that I met in Paris when young, we were going to the same school to learn the French language. I have some lavas flatbread and this recipe is perfect. I like your style of cooking, very hommy, you are so natural and easy to follow. My mother used to make gozleme for us and I always loved them. You took me back to fond memories, thank you!
That's lovely, I am glad that my recipes took you back to your beautiful memories. Hope you try and enjoy! Warm wishes from Istanbul
I like your kitchen 🙋♀️🍀🇮🇪
Hi the parsley the traditional way of doing it??
Lovely, really enjoy your videos MashAllah. Just wondering how long you can keep it in refrigerator after it has been cooked.
3-4 days in the fridge. Best way is to reheat in a frying pan lid closed and both sides. It will be crunchy and like new again
It's looking so yummy and amazing. Mouth watering. Your each and every recipes are so unique and tasty.
Thanks a lot 😊
Welcome
Thank you so much for sharing one of my favourites. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Here is the written detailed recipe:🤗 www.turkishfoodtravel.com/2021/12/14/turkish-borek-recipe-2/
My grandmother made triangular noregsfilled with feta cheese and spinach or ground lamb and garliv with rrpsemary.
Sevgiyle yapılmış bu yemek çok lezzetli görünüyor! Bunu bizimle paylaştığınız için teşekkür ederiz, ayrıca çok iyi İngilizce konuşuyorsunuz!
Make sure it’s Bulgarian feta and not hard cuz it will taste like crap
Thank you. It sounds easy and tasty. Thanks

This looks SO delicious. Thank you for the lovely tutorial.
❤😂 ❤😂 Bugün bu tarifi deneyeceğim. Ne yazık ki Bangkok'ta olduğum yerde Börek ile her zaman iyi giden Chankya beyaz şarabı yok.
Thank you for showing how to make this delicious dish! A dinner guest recently brought some and it was so good, I really wanted to learn how to make it. I'm glad it's not too complicated or intimidating! 😅

Good explanation sister
Good English language easy to understand
But first recipe is about eating flour really white flour which is not good for your health ofcourse feta cheese ,parsley and oils.
Gozleme for me is less messy and easy to cook at least I can add anything in it.

My grandmother was born in Turkey. Burrekitas were done with pasta filo, egg and cheese in the oven. Not so much brown, delicious, I remember. Not with so much sauce. Todo con carar.
It looks like greek spanakopita(spinach pie)
