Your practical approach to everything is truly inspirational, Chad. I only wish I had known you years ago when I was first starting through life... but, of course, you weren't even born then!
I dig the fact that you speak as if we are standing right next to you. Teaching is a Super Power that MANY do not possess, but you certainly do! BRAVO!
There was a lot of durt in the paint but a little sanding took care of that, you made lemon pie from your lemons, and that's OK. Thanks Mark Dutka Oakville Ontario Canada
As someone who has won a hat from you I would like to thank you and Jolene for all you do. It is unrealistic to try and give a car away. But you are doing what you can.
I really enjoy the information you are sharing , I don't know squat about painting but enjoy learning about it . And I also share alot of your beliefs.....truth, cheap, and made by me !
Found your show a couple days ago and love it. I haven't painted a car since my freshman year in high school and I'm nearly 60 now. Thinking of spraying my old jeep now. I'm learning a lot from you keep it up. Just a note, I have been spraying cabinets for the past couple years totally different types of paint. But I found I hate dirt and dust. I started spraying down my booth floor and lower portions of the wall prior to bringing my stuff in to paint. I have an exhaust fan on one side and two box fans with filter blowing fresh air in. It seems to do the trick. Anyways love the show keep it up.
I know I will miss the videos while you two are on a break, but it is well deserved. You are very thoughtful to make these videos for us to enjoy and learn from. Awesome jobs! Thank you!
30 minutes ago I was incredibly frustrated while attempting to polish the defects out of my own Imron paint job. I don't think this really helped me figure out how to fix it, but You're calm Canadian accent calmed me down, haha
Been working on cars as a technician 30+ years but no experience with body or paint. You've given me the confidence and inspiration to tackle all body and paint on my project car myself. Thank you. Keep up the great work!
Its gonna look awesome just like all your other builds! Thanks for sharing! I look forward to Bad Chad and Queen Jolene everyday! Best show anywhere, love the truth!
Just I want to say thank for all the information you guys are giving and showing the love you are putting in one of the best and more underrated art us we called costumes cars ; thanks to you and your beautiful lady.
The color combo is fantastic. After seeing that coral I have started sanding down my mustang gt and have decided to do the same color. Your paint looks like glass and the shine is incredible. Keep up the content!
This channel is the only reason I log onto U Tube every day. Taking a break is a good and necessary thing to do; you will be able to get things done that have timelines coming up - the racecar, COD for example. I just don't wan to miss the restart.
Good on ya for being truthful and it's up to u and Jolene it's your channel and everyone shud support u in the decisions that are made thanks from new Zealand 🇳🇿
Keep up the good work I’m dealing with the same can’t get out into the yard what I have in the shop I continue to work on Elvis is going to look very sharp with that paint job
Nason is good stuff. I know it is a less expensive line of what used to be Dupont and is now Axalta but it's good. I painted a truck with it back in the early 90s when it just came in pre-mixed off the shelf colors. I saw that truck 10 years later and it still looked good.
Good decision on the free car thing. It's more than enough that you take the time to show us how to do great work. Some of your methods are very unconventional, but they all work, and are less expensive than other professionals use. You guys need a well earned vacation. Have a blast!
Without filtered air going into the paint booth you should wet the floor down to capture the dirt/dust before it gets into the wet paint...just a suggestion.....
I really have learned a lot watching you paint. I have a question how do i make my single stage pop. I'm new at painting and i have a 1964 ford fairlane 500 I know it will have flaws but I really want my car to look good.
NIce to hear your taking a break we all need one in life but we will miss you guy’s really enjoy your videos and thanks for the entertainment enjoy you break together and keep safe look forward to when you return
Good Morning Bad Chad & Jolene it's about time you both took a break you have kept us all very interested for a long time have a great break and come back ready to get back into it
Hi bad Chad I love your videos on that single stage urethane paint if you were using a Binks 7 Spraygun what pressure would you use on that type of paint
It's amazing that you have been posting fur that many days. I've been with you since the beginning and before. I look forward to watching your videos every night after I've cooked and cleaned up after dinner. It's relaxing. Thank you
Great way to get the muck out of the paint Chad and jolene at least you have now got an excellent bass for the top coats to go on .keep up the great work the both of you 👍 👏
The paint looks great and I'm sure once it all goes back together Elvis will look amazing. Great job on how you do your cars. Jolene always does a fabulous job with the camera.

So many real life tips per episode! Thank you!
What do u consider high pressure on the gun and will u buff it before u repaint the next coat or coats
Just I want to say thank for all the information you guys are giving and showing the love you are putting in one of the best and more underrated art us we called costumes cars ; thanks to you and your beautiful lady.

485 days of great content. I tune in everyday like a TV show, only this is way better than any other car themed TV show out there.
I really have learned a lot watching you paint. I have a question how do i make my single stage pop. I'm new at painting and i have a 1964 ford fairlane 500 I know it will have flaws but I really want my car to look good.

Great job interacting with we the people!
Once you sand it could it be polished back to the current shine, or will it have to be painted or clear coated?

Love that colour. I had an old ‘68 Chevelle the same colour. Too bad about the dirt. Is that from the air in the booth?
