I have my R8 in the same position. Was thinking about putting it up above the mirror on the left though, because the higher the better performance. But idk, maybe it’s already in a good place.
@@ferozmoto6766 for realz! If the cops gonna cheat, so will I - especially when it’s nighttime and nobody around to log in their location into Waze. I’ve been a huge fan of the arrows and it’s paid for itself many times over. Enjoy your ride, America was meant to be free!
Typically I wait a bit to till the rpm’s die down but it’s not the end of the world. Just don’t be beating on it till you see the temp gauge start to warm up
Maybe it's just me, but would like to see a video with this radar installment. Also, if possible, what types of radars would one need for Europe (I'm for EU, obviously ;)? Same as in USA? Seen guys mentioning about highway radars paired with the R4, why would one need more than one piece of HW (e.g. R4) to be fully covered? Anyways, plenty of questions that could make up a good "research" video. Thx in advance!
I only have experience with USA roads, with the combination of Waze and my R4 I have been covered. I can try to do explanation video on the radar but there are a good amount of tutorials on RUclips I followed.
Sounds good! I’d also see for any deals on a R7 since they have gone down in price. I don’t think I could justify upgrading mine anytime soon but in the case I’d need one I’d want one of those bad boys being R7 or R8.
Shift levers? We have clutch, brake, gas. On the shift knob there are 7 gates. Reverse, 1st, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and sixth in a H pattern. Hope I answered that question
@@ferozmoto6766 yes I know that but I’ve passed so many that are sitting still it’s not even funny anymore so Ik it’s not just that yes Waze helps but no matter what it never picks up I’m in pa so that may be the reason I know many radars are no use up here do you think upgrading would help?
@@ghxstfn2089 Hmm it is also important it is set up properly, I believe the radar shoots out in a V form so having it angle incorrectly vertically can lead to worse results.

The R8 is an awesome device. With the spot I have currently it hasn’t been an issue. Has been doing its job perfectly.
Been using detector easily for 10 years…first valentine 1 then R7…like American Express…never leave home without it
It’s a great thing to have! Idk how I did any driving before it lol

Is it fine to cold start and start driving immediately but being gentle? Until oil warms up hot

@@ferozmoto6766 Fair enough man, thx for sharing! I'll get one of these R4 in the near future.

Off topic. What are the shift levers for when driving a manual?

@@ferozmoto6766I think he was asking about the paddle shifters but I may be wrong lol
Run it paired with Highway Radar as well and really get some power out of it, that's how I run my R8 its a beastly setup...
I’ll have to give that a shot when it’s time to upgrade 🤙
@ferozmoto6766 you can pair the R4 with HW Radar...lots of extended configurations to explore with that setup
only a teenager but these videos are very cool
Appreciate it!
Check out the Radenso DS1
Will do!
honest question, how are you so young and can afford an g80 m3?
Work harding and dreaming big 👍
My boy Ryan worked hard as shit for his car. Probably makes him enjoy it a million times more 🎉
Any help my uniden R4 doesn’t pick up any state trooper any guesses why?
Remember it’s a radar scanner not a cop finder. If they aren’t scanning then it won’t be of use. That’s why I also keep Waze open.

@@ferozmoto6766 where you think to mount it I have it near the bottom in the middle as of right now
just make sure it is level and not cocked too up or down

Car is very stable at speed. US speed limits does this car no justice.
Be mature! Don’t speed. Don’t be reckless
Ofc!
Speed limits aren’t meant for a car like this
Be mature! Realize that speed limits aren't what make roads safe. Speed sometimes
