To anyone with an android, Highway Radar is on par with radar detectors for ticket avoidance. It'll show you where there have been reports in the past and give you a likelyhood of there being a cop. Also it has plane/helicopter alerts if you're paranoid about them. Biggest gripe is that there is no android auto integration and that it's not available on iOS but I'd really recommend it to anyone trying to avoid tickets with an Android.

Can someone explain to me how radar detectors help you avoid tickets? The way I understand it is that a cop can instantly get a readout of your speed as soon as your radar detector can alert you, so how would you get out of a traffic ticket if you're not able to slow down in time? Maybe I'm missing something here.
Radar waves bounce around the surrounding area. So say they checked the speed of a car 2 miles ahead, good radar detectors can catch the stray radar waves and alert you. There are of course police which only check speed for cars really hauling ass so in that case you're probably not going to get alerted but it will usually work up to a couple miles as long as the area around is flat and has trees or buildings around the road.

@@RLVTECHUSA u got a detector?
@sriavula oh yea must have one
@@RLVTECHUSA definitely but some people are like “why do I need one if I’m not speeding”, but they don’t realize on the highway if they get clocked 75 in a 55 or 90 in a 70 that’s technically reckless driving😭😭
Even laser jammers aren’t fool proof. ruclips.net/video/3b2HIVmAOZU/видео.htmlsi=lkd4OYSxJgRkIBD0

to many things popping up on the screen bro jesus
how so? It relates to the video
@@sriavulaoh forsure they relate to it but man i feel like i was running away from them
@bkb9110 I get that, I was just trying something different with this vid, and it did really well ngl
@@sriavulayeah the video was still great. really been enjoying your bike videos! almost makes me want to get a bike haha the more I watch the more I want one
@@bkb9110 thank you bro!! I appreciate it 🫶🫶 , def get a bike bro it’s so fun
Drive like a responsible human.. scary having people like u on the road.!!😮
Lmao what? I drive responsible, a little speed on an empty road never hurt nobody
what does this have to do with anything? Radar detectors are completely legal, this doesn’t mean go out and do felony reckless driving, it just a give you some nice added protection for road trips when your going 15-20 over the speed limit
Be quiet Nazi
“scary having people like u in the road” 🤓

i agree bro dont be a maniac

Read more...advance your vocabulary...unless, of course, you only want to appeal to a very narrow, uneducated, slice of people wanting this kind of information...just trying to help you be interesting in your explanation. Good luck.
@@nelson1525 thanks!!!
Man, you use too many curse words for me. Peace out.
Sorry but can’t impress everybody

@searches04 ur comment disappeared
if the cop is lasering cars a mile in front wont radar detector go off to warn you. i understand if he just gets there and you are 1st car then you are getting ticket
oh yea in that case its probably wraps for you, best case waze saves u, but thats what jammers are for
