Metcon 8 - I am new to working out and have recently started going to the gym for overall fitness. I have flat feet, and I'm wondering if this is beneficial for me?
Ist the rigidity the whole point of the metcon ? I find walking a bit hard in these but squats and stability is far faaar better than anything, I'd go to say that it's even better than barefoot.

Yo tengo unas metcon 7 desde que salieron y me ha pasado todo eso solo en la zapatilla derecha, la izquierda con marcas de uso pero en perfecto estado. Sinceramente es una muy buena zapatilla y es solo estetico, no afecta para nada. Lo unico si se despega la suela te recomiendo recortar esa parte y final, porque si lo pegas o lo dejas va aumentando
Are these any wider in the midfoot area than the older metcons? My caveman feet have a hard time in anything longer than a 10-15 metcon due to how narrow they have been in the past. (The last pair I bought were the 5's I believe but I sold them to a buddy after wearing them twice.)
@@TheLeanMachines I usually bounce back and forth between my trusty old nano 7's and the newer inov-8 F-lite g 300. The last couple iterations of the nano have felt strange in the heel area for me.
Thanks for the review Just ordered a custom pair on Nike £144.00 definitely steep side but if I don’t like them il return! That’s the good thing for buying direct from Nike easy returns even on custom trainers.
I have 4s, in 9.5. Ordered metcon 7s in 9.5 and they felt far too big. I had to crank them so tight to feel snug it cut blood flow to my foot off so I returned them. .5 of a size down fixed that

I am hearing they are coming slightly earlier this year. So maybe as early as September. There are early photos of them on Instagram. To pre-warm you they are not like previous years AMP colour ways - a low duller - mainly brown.
My blackout 7's look beautiful that's what made me swap from nano's but they are so stiff and rigid, Nike went too far that way with the heal. I don't think they're a good "all rounder". I don't have the 8's but I just don't like look of them. Maybe I should wait for some new colourways to drop!?
Had to do 6x400m sprints on concrete the other day in my 7s. My ankles and tibialis were blown for days. Not a running shoe at all indeed, especially when your running technique is not the best. Has anyone has any experience with the Reebok nanos regarding running, while still being stable for oly?

Yea, the wide foot crowd gets no love frome Nike ... too few wide options from them ...
I had to go a half size up from what I normally wear to feel somewhat comfortable in them
The metcon 6 I have feels wide fit to me
They also need to make back of the heel higher - they start slipping if not tightened to the level that my blood stops circulating in my feet.
Good review👍 I like, but don’t love my 7s. Think they’re a little rigid for me. Sounds like the 8s are a great update for me.

@@warius33 try out the new rebook nano x2! I have a flat feet and the shoe is quite wide in the midsole along with spacious toe box.

Is there any difference in fit length / width and breathability? I heard the toe box got narrower.
Not that I have noticed, I do have narrow long feet so I wouldn’t. They are more breathable for sure
