So I did very strict animal based diet over summer. Couldn't believe how much better I felt,my IBS issues seemingly gone by week 1. No more cramps, multiple trips to the loo a day, my stomach looked less bloated & pain round my stomach cleared up. No more "omg I'm not going to make it" moments. Last few weeks I went back to a "healthy " diet you'd expect as an experiment & honestly I had improved on animal based so much more than I thought. Even old elbow pain returned, I'm back animal based now & again I just feel so much better. I do suffer from acid reflux & I have noticed if I eat to much ground beef at one time it really sets me off so I have to space that out. I lift 3 days a week & run 3/4, I really don't hold back on the fruit & honey. I do eat chicken still but only ever from wings or thigh meat. Just got x2 900g jars of local raw organic honey delivery & I dove straight in😂 Just to add to this. I'm probably getting in 220g+ of protein a day, 170g (ish) of fats (mainly animal) & well over 200g of carbs a day....& I always end up needing more food as within 2hrs i'm ready for more food. But the fat seems so high already?

I agree 💯! It’s been the only thing that brought relief to an extremely painful digestive system . The one thing is it’s pretty difficult to stock up eating this way ; need a lot of freezer space for meat and fruits go bad . Dr Paul, I have appreciated your information fo years. Thank you for your great effort to provide resourced information. I am a carnivore for 1 year. Feeling much better, yet have auto immune issues allow with RA. I just listened to your salt information dealing with heavy metals. Only used Redmond, yet just ordered some diamond kosher salt flakes. Also, wanted to share there are glass jars with glass tops. Mason has one that has rubber seal and top attached with wire. Years ago I purchased an organic peanut butter (which I found wasn't actually organic and learned, I can't have peanuts), has a glass top with a rubber seal. Just wanted to share as you mentioned you weren't aware of such an item. I hope this helps you as you have helped some many of us. Have a lovely bless day.
I was on your diet strictly for a few months last year; after that I incorporated some veggies and gluten-free grains like rice, buckwheat and corn. I eat mostly whole foods, gave up completely on caffeine, seed oils, ultra-processed foods and gluten. It's been over a year and a half now, and I must say I'm starting to thrive. My blood tests are better. The symptoms I experienced are milder. Still adjusting my diet, still some issues - but blood tests don't lie :) it IS a life improvement.
I tested my thyroid parameters, as usual, cause I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I can't give you advice what to check, you know yourself the best - maybe ask in your clinic for some standard tests if anything in your body worries you. Then you can consult a good doctor and proceed further. Best of luck

Thank you so much Paul. Thanks to your incredible information regarding diet and lifestyle I've lost over 60 pounds in one year. I've tried all kinds of diets and exercises regiments but was steady still fairly heavy. Animal based is the way to go. A key part of my diet he didn't mention here is Skyr Yogurt which has about 18 grams protein per serving. It's fairly economical as well. Mix that with organic maple syrup or some frozen blue berries to make it like ice cream texture. It hasn't been perfect but the best method for losing weight as an obese person is intermittent fasting and reducing carbs/wheat intake all together. Grass fed ground beef is really a superfood that makes you feel like a Super Saiyan
Thank you for sharing, Dr. Saladino. Always providing the best for our health! Also, if intermittent fasting while at low calories might have a more negative effect? Thank you for your time, Dr. Saladino.

@@ericmalitz No thanks. I’m good on the argument. I did veganism back in like 2016-2018. Raw Whole Vegan. Got super skinny, sunken eyes, ended up in the hospital etc etc. I know you think you’re right, but I’m not going to retread something I already proved false with personal life experience.
I am a 68 yo female eating carnivore for last 11 months, it will be a year on Nov. 13th. I have had some non sweet fruit but not a lot. Mainly because I don’t really see a benefit or a detriment. I eat liver about once a month. I have improved my quality of life eating this way. I’m fairly sure I have some type of eating disorder or sugar addiction. So I have cut all sweet tastes from my diet. I said I was only going to eat the non sweet fruit of a plant by I’ve eaten macadamia nuts on 3 occasions. I can see where I kinda lose control with them. I don’t think eating fruit is bad, sweet or otherwise. I just don’t do sweet, not in fruits, drinks or anything. For me it’s like alcohol I have to refrain. If I didn’t have this problem I’d probably eat fruit as well. But only local and in season. You and I are different in age, activity level, geographical location and sex. So I’m sure I shouldn’t eat as you do. I think for us who are interested in eating the best diet, need to experiment with ourselves and evaluate for ourselves to find what works best for us. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Love raw egg yolks in my scrambled eggs. Here’s a disturbing issue you might not know about. I live next door to you in Nicaragua and have, among other animals, chickens and ducks. The duck eggs are amazing with huge yolks and I prefer them over chickens eggs. During one meal of mixed duck and chicken eggs I found what appeared to be a round worm in my eggs. Can’t be was my first thought but as I investigated this it turns out, sure enough, these parasites can get into the eggs of chickens and ducks. I immediately started to treat my chickens and ducks with ivermectin and fenbendazol and in the meantime we cook the hell out of our scrambled eggs. Ducks and chickens roam free on our large property and are not fed any processed feed.
@@Paulsaladinomd And what if you're living on a higher latitude? I think eating locally and seasonally is the best for gut health, but should we go carnivore during winter or go for vegetables like (sweet) potatoes?

Paul, is fat and sugars consumed at the same time fine? Just in terms of the sugars and fats in the blood stream; do cells have an affinity to fats or sugars once in the blood?
i would think this falls under the randle cycle issue? i think if you basically consume surplus (keyword is surplus how you figure that out accurately for your specific body im not sure) of sugar and fats it both just gets stored as energy in your body until too much and your cells are over saturated with energy and thats when high blood glucose issues arise and spills over into bloodstream since cells are resistant to incoming energy and have enough already that it refuses to store incoming foodstuff otherwise if they did they would die hence why it goes into the bloodstream i think because those cells are easier to regenerate to replace from the damage from surplus of sugar I think. So I would say it can be fine and work but long term not the best idea to chronically consume sugar and fats together at every meal have it at some if you want but not every meal.
I actually did this and saw my metabolism increase alot after I switched to eating them seperarate! went animal based eating fruit and meat in one meal for 2 months, dropped 10 lbs to 170 lbs and then plateau'd for a few weeks but started eating them separate 4 hours apart and dropped another 8 lbs after another month, not sure if it was because of the diet switch but I kept my calories the same at 2200 so I think it helped
I've been cooking my eggs this exact way for 2 months now... Loads of butter and salt, just cook/fry the whites and then add the raw yolks. And for the same reasoning, just wanted to keep the yolks as raw as possible for the nutritional advantage !

@@CiprianFx59 what about the lead?
Just got x2 900g jars of local raw organic honey delivery & I dove straight in😂
Just to add to this. I'm probably getting in 220g+ of protein a day, 170g (ish) of fats (mainly animal) & well over 200g of carbs a day....& I always end up needing more food as within 2hrs i'm ready for more food. But the fat seems so high already?
This diet is really good, love the meat and fruits, Paul. 🍉🥩🍳🥛
I switched from walmart seasalt to celtic salt month ago. It taste good but I'm not happy because it made me tired all day and drop my testosterone like crazy. I like to run and sprint but now my body just feel so lethargic. I'm so glad you put out warning about celtic salt. I owe you on this video. Also glad you changed diet to animal-base rather than carnivore. That stuff is just as bad as vegan diet. That rambutan looks awesome just like in Thailand, thank you.
Not as bad as a vegan diet thou haha
Thanks for sharing what you eat in a day! Looks great 👍
Finding this makes it so hard to know what to believe!
That’s how I eat beef liver! Raw small chunks washed down with either oj or raw milk. It was integral to regaining my health after being really sick in ‘21. My hair fell out and the liver plus animal based diet has regrown thicker hair at age 51 than I had at 30!
Do you freeze it?

Awesome Paul I appreciate you man. I’ve come to a similar place with my food consumption, but I learned a few tips with the eggs, for instance, and sourcing some organ meat, which I definitely can do in my area and add that in, just turned 50 and feeling better and better every day🤙🏄♂️
Thanks again and take care, my friend
thank you for the insight ... especially the cutting back of vegetables, another point of view ... appreciated
I agree 💯! It’s been the only thing that brought relief to an extremely painful digestive system . The one thing is it’s pretty difficult to stock up eating this way ; need a lot of freezer space for meat and fruits go bad . For winters in cold climates it becomes a problem , very doable and a first world problem but I’d sure like to be able to prep more .

Paul says vegetables make you ghey
What did your bloodtest show? I’m about to take my blood and don’t know what to look for or how much to pay
I love how you explain how you do things and empathize people doing what they want. 💪🏼

Thanks for your great content and inspiration. Since following you you have inspired me to start eating a little bit of liver each day as well as to take some of your supplements each day. I also started buying Force of Nature Ancestral beef which contains beef, liver and heart. I add this ground beef with organs in it to most recipes I prepare for my family. My son is a competitive cyclist and he does train a ton... that said he recently won the Colorado State Varsity boys cross country mountain bike state championships. I think your message about organ meat might have helped him with the championships, the organ meat certainly did not hurt him! I certainly plan to always cook with this organ meat mixture. Thanks so much for inspiring me and contributing to the wellness and strength of our family.

Whisk the egg whites before putting them into the frying pan to make them even more fluffy. Then fold in the yolks.
Splash of milk or whipping in a dollop of sour cream also makes them fluffier.

Paul, is fat and sugars consumed at the same time fine? Just in terms of the sugars and fats in the blood stream; do cells have an affinity to fats or sugars once in the blood?
Also my question that is not yet answered
Facts. Very curious
i would think this falls under the randle cycle issue? i think if you basically consume surplus (keyword is surplus how you figure that out accurately for your specific body im not sure) of sugar and fats it both just gets stored as energy in your body until too much and your cells are over saturated with energy and thats when high blood glucose issues arise and spills over into bloodstream since cells are resistant to incoming energy and have enough already that it refuses to store incoming foodstuff otherwise if they did they would die hence why it goes into the bloodstream i think because those cells are easier to regenerate to replace from the damage from surplus of sugar I think.
No! Insulin will collect the sugar and store it as fat.
I've been cooking my eggs this exact way for 2 months now... Loads of butter and salt, just cook/fry the whites and then add the raw yolks.
And for the same reasoning, just wanted to keep the yolks as raw as possible for the nutritional advantage !
