As a diabetic (Type II) I get bloodwork every 3 months. To your point about prevention, 3 months ago my B12 was very low and I was tired. My doc advised me to start taking high dose B12 supplements. I did. Yesterday I got the results of this week's blood test - my B12 is WAY high, and I have been advised to stop taking the supplements. I'm still tired though. ;-)

HDL actually is not protective against atherosclerosis. New studies using Mendilian Randomization and tests using HDL drugs have shown no benefit on heart disease risk… LDL is the primary issue.

Thanks for breaking it down! Also, nice to mention, that DHEA-S is quite important for hormone levels as well as it is synthesized into either male or female sex hormones

But do they measure the testosterone range according to age? Not that I'm calling you old by any means, but I was just wondering if the OK is given according to the level of testosterone you are supposed to have related to your age group, or if this is just a general level fits all rule?
