Aw love waking up on a Saturday and starting the day with your videos! Always puts me in the best motivated mindset. Glad to hear you’ve found answers to the health issues. I’ve had the mirena coil for 4 years now (re-fitted after 3) and it’s been great! Lots of love

Has endometriosis been investigated as a cause for your super heavy periods? I've had various mirenas over about 10 years and they've stopped my periods completely. Hope it works well for you!

I had the same when going through menopause when having such heavy periods. But when they stopped my anemia was gone. Also before meno I never had heavy periods and also never had anemia! And my hair started growing like crazy:-)

Hey gurl! I'm trying to reset my body clock so I wake up at 6am daily. Seeing as you roughly wake up at about 5:30ish, what time would you usually aim to go to bed? thanks heaps! xx

Hi Zanna, great vlog and good that you are on top of your health ( which is a job in itself!) could I ask you what hair conditioner you use please? I have blonde (bleached) hair and yours looks so silky soft. Take care and look forward to the next vlog. 🦋

Look into having a tablespoon of molasses a day and the benefits of it. With the odd iron infusion will change your life. I get an iron infusion once ever 3 months. Heavy long 10 day periods being my cause. Same as you, to the point of not being able to leave the house. On a plant based vegan diet . My hair has thickened back up, racing mind anxiety panic attacks and insomnia go away for me in days after an iron infusion. It does take 3 months before I top up with another infusion but don't let it get out of control anymore. Game changer.

Just thought I'd mention, I have a friend that had weightloss surgery and so they don't absorb nutrients as well. She suffers with massive iron deficiency (goes in for transfusions) - just thought I would mention she noticed improvements when using a patch system to help boost levels in between transfusions. I hope you get it sorted out though! It is nice to get answers though!

As someone with chronic illness I totally understand the wanting test results to not be normal! Its not you want to be sick but you are sick/experiencing symptoms and you want to understand why and then hopefully with a why you can make things better. It is the big downside of the NHS as is that you have to wait so long for answers. I had some of my healthcare privately and the difference in time waiting is crazy. Anyways ramble over. I am glad you got your iron infusion and things have started looking up. Good luck going forwards with your hair/iron xx

So glad you found out so much through the bloodtest. I've been on Morena twice before. And I love having a light period but the mental effect was(in hindsight) quite severe. The first time(4 years from age 21 to 24) I had zero mental or physical problems. The second time from 25 to 28 the effects were there. I had a loss of sex drive, mild depression and lost my usual little ideas and plans which are a big part of my personality and bring me much joy. It was desastrous for my relationship at the time. I got it removed and after that tried copper IUD(which I guess will be terrible for you since you already bleed heavily). I immediately became myself again mentally but the bleeding and tiredness was just to severe. And the last 4 months tried Kyleena(less hormones but same as Mirena. I got severely depressed to the point work was getting hard and don't talk to me about sexdrive🙈🙈🙈 that was non existent. Also I experience pain during ovulation and tiredness before ovulation and mentsruation. Now I'm without anything and ordered the Caya(to use instead of condoms). Well, point to this message. Please be aware of the mental changes the Mirena can cause. Ive been happy with it for about 6 years. I hope it helps you! ❤️

Have you checked your adrenal cortisol levels? Especially clear in hair if you are too stressed and having no down time. Adrenaline rising can have all those side effects. 🌸

I bled everyday for 18 months after having my son, the Mirena coil was a godsend. I have continued with the coil 23 years later and no longer have periods. Good luck to you, I also suffer from anaemia, and it really affects my hair xx

And a fact about iron deficiency or anaemia is that heavy periods are a symptom and a cause. So when people are anaemic … they usually have heavy periods as a result. Crazy how that all works!

I had severe anaemia due to heavy periods my levels were really low. I had two iron transfusions and been on iron tabs for 3 weeks to top up. Lots they can do to resolve it. Good luck I hope you get a resolution that works for you.

Literally feel like you are me in soo many ways Zanna it's so lovely to be able to relate to someone the same age who's passionate about all the things I am too! I was literally spooning out lambs lettuce to go with my dinner as you were I was like what the actual hell hahahah so random! But anyway I am so delighted to hear you are feeling so positive about your journey to healing your condition - really hope it does relieve for you super soon! I think I shared with you before about how my Rapunzel hair was always a huge part of my identity I do feel like I hid behind it in many ways until a few years ago now I took an allergic reaction to a new shampoo and lost pretty much my whole head of hair! It was TRAUMATISING to say the least but it made me do intense inner work on myself to really learn to love myself outside of my physical appearance! Now I don't even have a mirror and think appearance is the least interesting thing about me so I guess hard times always make us so much stronger!! But your hair looks fab right now and will only keep getting better I'm sure! Definitely love to see the hair routine too - just love any content you share really anyway as you know :) Think I've rambled on enough now hun haha hope you're having a fab weekend
