I think this footage does a great job showing the behind the scenes police work you don't get to see on Cops. The officer spends most of his time on the phone trying to figure out what is appropriate to charge the suspect with. Police Description is below 👇.
Please make sure to comment if you learned something from this!
"09/12/2021 4:31am SOUTHFIELD, MI - Officers were dispatched to the 19000 Block of Mahon Dr. for an unknown male sleeping on the front porch of the R/P’s mothers house. The male was described as a black male wearing a red shirt and jeans. R/P advised the house is her mother’s and she was coming over to take care of her this morning. When she arrived at the house there was an unknown male sleeping on a patio chair on the front porch. She did not know who the male was.
Officers approached the subject and observed his pants were lowered and his hands were down his pants. Officers attempted to wake the subject up. He looked up and then fell back asleep. Officers patted the subject down and recovered a handgun down in his crotch area. There were some loose rounds also in his pants pocket. Officers recovered these items and then attempted to wake the subject up. Officers were eventually able to wake the subject up. He was intoxicated. The subject did not have a CPL and had several Southfield Warrants. He was taken into custody for CCW" Приколы

Dude was super cool about it, I immediately jumped up and heading back outside, apologizing like crazy, and then headed next door to my friends where everyone laughed about it. We ended up becoming pretty good friends with the neighbor guy and hung out with him all the time and it was a funny harmless story in the end, but for some reason this video reminded me of that and I haven’t thought about it in years and years. Because the guy was knockout drunk. Thats why. You know it too.
@@airstuck3929 I didn’t ask why and being drunk has nothing to do with it for most cops! Period! It’s simply because THESE cops are part of the good ones because people have been treated far worse for less.
@Cece You do know that statistically MOST encounters go this way. Way way way wayyyyy more than bad ones. But only the bad ones get attention so you know how that makes it look.
And if you have ever seen actual bodycam footage of one of these "bad encounters" you will know the sad truth that its mostly the person being arrested that acts like its for NO REASON. Gets angry, doesnt comply to direct commands. Dont keep their hands in clear line of sight for police. Now it doesnt matter to police if you are black white purple or whatever the FK. You will get shot and die realllll quick if you dont listen.
Sure there are some cases where the cop is some racist bastard having some narciscistic power trip. But in reality most of the bad encounters arent the cops choosing to handle that way, but rather being put in the spot to do so.
And yes, it has everything to do with this man being KNOCKOUT drunk. Even if they were bad they couldnt do anything against a man that isnt even awake. Maybe if he was sober he would be one of those people that doesnt comply and ends up getting shot. He did after all:
Have a warrant out for him.
Be publicly drunk.
Carry a gun without permit on him.
Trespassing on someones home property with all of the above.
@@airstuck3929
I absolutely agree with you. Most cops give you back the attitude you give them first. So if you are chill and comply fully with their orders, they are going to be chill with you. It's fucked up that people are surprised because this is actually the norm. But people are too intellectually lazy to research anything and rely only on the news, which as a financial interest in spreading doom and gloom.
The time he wished it was all a dream
Right 🤣🤣🤣
I used to read book, and magazine with Heavy D up in the limousine.
I thought It was all a dream when I got caught with a gun and a loaded magazine in my jeans bebabababayyyyyy(biggiesmallsvoice) lol
Yeah..policeman says he's hammed..then in the same sentence right after..I don't think he's too bad 🙄
@@stillirise6527 I used to read word up magazine*
Nice to see good police officers doing a great job.
Lol I like how much stuff they kept pulling out of his pockets. He’s like a magician.
When this guy wakes up in the drunk tank and realizes the charges he's facing he's going to want to drink again
My friend in Canada lives on a Reservation he says this happens a lot they just lock you up for the day then released you the next day and charge you with a fine
And no drink in sight for my man ,just sit there hung over replaying what you remember.
@joey lucas you obviously don’t know shot about gun charges lmao. It’s rare that somebody does the minimum for solely a gun especially depending on what they record look like. Most ppl found with guns are takin to jail then later released with a court date where they choose if you going to jail or not and in most cases just having a gun gets you a slap on the wrist it’s not until you commit a crime with the gun on you that the gun charge becomes a problem and in this video they said he had no record so I doubt he did any jail time
@@Okten1O facts
@@Okten1O They said the gun had no record, not the guy. They couldn't even ID this guy.
I’m definitely against driving under the influence, if some one came under my porch to sleep rather than driving I would give them a blanket. To many lives are lost to drunk driving.
Agreed
You should make sure that’s the case first. Or you’re going to have a bad time.
Lol nice news report Don Lemon meanwhile his stolen G wagon ran outta gas and he fell asleep trying to break into the house. But yeah go get him a blanket maybe take his pistol and give it some cocoa
Thats very kind of you. just make sure to be careful 🙏
Lollll you'd really let a drunk stranger with gun sleep on your porch?? Bahaha
Clean piece
Not the anti social social club shirt 😂😂😂
Damn coppers, they could've let brother sleep-it-off. That's some of the best sleep, when you're on a complete strangers porch.
😂😂😂 ain’t that right
😂😂😂😂
Im gonna sleep on your porch!!!!😃😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ha!!!!
What did they say "make yourself at home' aight?
Ya I'm your brother too mate, I got a 357:mag and coming to your house to crash stoned on your porch! 🤔
Don’t know what he’s going threw just hope this brother makes better decisions🙏🏾✊🏿
😂😂👩🏾👧🏿😂👮🏿👀👼🏿😂👸🏿😝😂😂
DUDE he already did by not say a word. Now u see the POWER OF THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT
He’s probably got 5 baby mamas, father of the day.
@@sanookaus1334 he is the father of the day honestly. He didn't choose violence or let stress get to him. Even though he's bopped out of his mind, he's not being a threat to society because I've seen people this drunk be unstoppable to a 9mm with the 21 foot rule.
Handling stress is important, and being praised for it needs to be our tone as humanity. Our vicious comments are proceeding our whole intelligence.
It doesn't matter what he's going through.
Good police work.
Man I just want to be this cops friend he sounds so friendly.
Considering the state they found this guy in , they handled this very professionally.
I'll go a step further an commend hom as well bc a lot of people get more rowdy in this condition
Thats how you handle drunk people.. they match whatever energy you give off
damb, illinois?
@@joe-dx4og Detroit
What was you expecting? For them to tackle a guy while he sleep and then tase him?. The guy wasn't aggressive so he is good, very simple handling
Well done by the officers.
The initial call was justified, someone trespassing on your parents property and concerned about safety.
Thanks for pointing out that the call was justified.
A guy passed out jerking off on a strangers porch with a gun; I wasn’t sure if this 911 call was just more white supremacy in action.
Glad you could clear things up though, Columbo.
How don’t people see how disrespectful they’re being when they thank officers for not being assholes?
Imagine I walk up to you and your wife on the street and thank you for not abusing your wife. And when you awkwardly say “thank you?”, I insist even more sincerely about the amazing guy you are for not abusing your wife.
What do you even say to me?
In fact, wouldn’t you be thinking that I’m kind of implying that you might be a wife beater by implying that there’s a question as to whether or not you’re a wife beater?
You see how language is contextual?
If you thank someone for something that is expected, you insinuate that you didn’t expect them to do it.
And I can’t for the life of me understand how people think that’s complimentary to an officer.
If you see an officer doing something wrong, then call it out.
If not, thank them for the good work they do in an often difficult job. Don’t insult them by thanking them for what is expected of a decent person. “Hey thanks for not pulling out your gun and shooting that guy because you clocked him for going 5 over; I really appreciate you officer!…
Honestly, what are people thinking?
I know what they’re thinking. They’re thinking “watch me pat myself on the back for being such a great guy that I can state the obvious”, and the irony is that youre pandering to people who will literally take this as an insult.
@@Tehownilator you okay?
@@Tehownilator ???
You make a point in the begining but the rest is a seemingly unrelated entourage
@@Tehownilator this rant could’ve been summarized in 1 or 2 sentences. Also yes, people don’t really expect much from cops nowadays. So seeing them do the right thing warrants a thanks from some even if that should be the norm
@@victory7302 you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Aside from ancap arguments against cops, cops are 99.99% perfectly fine. I’m not sure if you’re much for math but that constitutes a norm.
The fact that you believe the lies the media tells you is on you, the stats tell a completely different story.
So no, you’re completely wrong. That’s why I’m making the point I’m making.
But I’m not shocked you didn’t bother to make a case for your claim. It’s par for the course on that side of the isle. A claim is not an argument, and as much as I might sometimes be long winded, at least I bothered to give respect to your intelligence and actually make an argument.
Don’t worry I’m not offended though, I know that the reason you didn’t make one is just that no such argument exists.
Maybe stop believing everything CNN tells you. That would be a decent start.
Now that's how you operate..A snappy salute to this Police Officer's...
This guy wasn’t drunk he was barred out and blacked out. He gonna wake up fr in jail wondering where he is 😂
When he woke up and he was still in jail he was like “damn this the longest bad dream of my life” 😂
🤣🤣🤣
💀💀💀
😂😂
HahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahhHahahahahahjahahahahajhahahajajahahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahahahahahHhjajajajjajajajajajahaha
Fr tho lol
People are giving these cops a lot of credit, when in reality the dude being quiet, complying, and not resisting is what made this a calm encounter.
he also knows how to keep his hands from getting cold; it can get cold out here on these skreets...
He wasn't being anything, he was bloody comatose!
lmao yeah a cop has never escalated an encounter unnecessarily to try and rack up extra charges through typical human reactions to being bullied by a man with a gun
Well…. He was sleep😂
Exactly they should've let him go too
Dude probably thought he was still dreaming 😅
Pure gold
“I think it’s safe to say he’s over a .08”
Yes it’s very safe to say 🤣🤣🤣
