  • We all make mistakes, but for your own sake. Please stop stealing from me. I will catch you every time and you will personally help load my stuff back up. As for this case we’ve resolved the matter and I’d appreciate if everyone respects them as we all make mistakes. And dude… please take your wife out to dinner. She deserves it.

Amen. Usually search warrants do not happen that fast. In busy south florida a cop wouldn't have done nothing without picture proof of everything. Hell my sister stole 30k from me and I told the cops what bank she put it in her safety deposit box, text saying sorry, and her finger prints everywhere and they said sue her its a civil matter.

Yeah that is honestly how you want to see a situation like that be handled. Having been on the losing end of stolen property I worked hard for, and then being amazed at how bad I felt when it seemed like the cops didn't even seem to care or try to get it back, I think both parties did a stand up job. Cody was right about getting as much information you can. Also going to the place without starting confrontation and having the police come was perfect - might have gotten slept on if not.. cops did a great job aswell they could see they had what they needed to get the job done and they did. 👏 👌👍

Did the father make the cop work everything to the letter of the law yes he did why because it was his son who he loves, and wants to over protect by keeping his son near him because the old man is worried about his baby boy who may not have grown up and in the eyes of his father his son is not a man! You're definitely correct that it's not his first time! Some people just have that thieving mentality and I don't understand it, but I've had friends here and there in life who've stolen from others and confided in me about it. I know from talking to them that it's something they consider in certain situations while the thought of stealing is the furthest in my mind. I think maybe they're born with that tendency, I don't know... This guy though, he WILL steal again. It won't be immediately, but after all the smoke clears and his life habits put him back into a tough situation, you can bet he will do it again, in the meantime, he will just be scouting opportunities as he goes through his daily life. Give it a year or two, these people pretend to care about others but they don't. His empathy was fake, his apologies to this young man were NOT genuine. That's okay though, this RUclipsr STILL did the right thing and is a better person for it. I've learned a long time ago that when people do me wrong I don't have to be the one to take vengeance, the universe has a way of sorting that out automatically. People get what they deserve and the less we interfere with that process, the sooner it will probably come for them, and with interest. Great video, cheers!

Just need to give a shout out to the young rookie in Gonzales, TX many years ago. He was just a beeboppin' along when he sees a beat up, old, nasty truck come careening out of a side road and decided to a quick field check. Upon walking up to the truck, he noticed a couple thousand dollars worth of gas room heaters and hidden pile under a tarp. He began to casually chat the boy up and the boy was sweating profusely. So, he called the boy out to the back of the truck and while talking to him, noticed the butt of a rifle sticking out from under the tarp. He asked the boy to show him what was under the tarp and immediately detained him for suspicion of burglary. That quick thinking rookie recovered 6 stolen firearms, two expensive gas room heaters, a few thousand in cash from a drawer in my dad's study, and several thousand dollars worth of electronics. We now have three large safes in the walk in closet, where we keep firearms not currently being worn, the coin amd cash collection, and various other unmentionables. In addition to other security measures, we have posted two signs. The one at the gate off the caliche road says "trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again." The one way up the driveway at the yard gate says "if you can read this, you're in range." That was some damn good policing from that rookie.

The bike store guy was in the back doing whatever so it took forever. Homeboy cut my straps and took my bike that didn't have a front wheel attached. This happened in downtown Buffalo as I was moving and nobody witnessed it except one guy who said "maybe someone with dreadlocks".
So as I was moving from Buffalo (not a bad place really) I lost my bike. I searched for over an hour and made a police report. That bike was like family to me. But what part of having cash on hand implies that he's a thief? Yes he is a thief, yet i don't believe that's his profession. But what part of having cash on hand has to do with being a thief?
At this point you're purely speculating without any evidence for it, which I don't support. The way I see it, from behavioural analysis; I saw a woman who's husband does not care about others or the law. Which is a characteristic trait. She knows her husband's character, which is why she knew he did indeed steal or at the bare minimum did not doubt it to be a possibility.
From her behaviour, I saw a woman who's not like her husband, yet cannot do anything about her husband's behaviour. She does not like his behaviour, in fact she's ashamed of it. That's why she started crying. She seems like a sweetheart with a demon of a husband.

This guy understands diplomacy and he was protecting his own future peace of mind. He's lucky the sheriff's dept was so proactive and thorough on this matter. He might not be that lucky in the future and I think he knows this. He took advantage of this situation to bury the hatchet and move forward without an enemy living a mile down the road. It might appear that way, that he's only sorry because he got caught, and common sense and experience might even tell us that is exactly what's happening. And that might be a correct assumption. But it's not hands down 100% the truth. You never know, the embarrassment alone might have kicked him in the teeth enough for him to start feeling actual guilt. Everyone has an image of themselves, and people like this, often lie to themselves about who they are, or why they do the things they do in an attempt to justify their actions, and a lot of the time they end up believing their own bullshit. So if he thought to himself "I'm usually a nice guy and I don't do shit like this, but times are tough and I gotta do what I gotta do." you never know what he was thinking when he was staring down the barrel of reality. Maybe he couldn't deny it any longer, that he was kind of a piece of shit.
All of that being said, I'd only feel as sorry for him (if you were at all inclined to do so) as you could while keeping him at arms length.
