@@sinister184 I suspect the car is real, the neighbour acknowledged that he has a Corvette. I'd Google lens the pic in the advert to see if it shows up anywhere else but Cody doesn't pay me enough, probably because I'm cheap and don't scam people 😂
@@mnmsaregood1 idk if you are serious but i see a lot of people saying this I guarantee he never had a corvette lmao lol all it takes is for you to take pictures of someone elses car Codys friend is kind of an idiot to for putting a deposit down on a car he never saw
Bro, you literally got scammed while trying to call out a scammer. You know they bought a bunch of booze and partied your money. This was a bad move. He deserves prison.
I think the idea was that Cody "understood" that the guy was scamming in desperation, so everyone was on the same page that the Corvette isn't real. Although didn't the neighbor verify that the car exists? Weird.
Couple problems here guys: 1. If he needs the money he has a Corvette he can sell, which he hasn’t for an entire year. 2. The wife said “his mom has cancer” and he said “my mom has open heart surgery”. Which is it? The cancer is believable at first, but open heart surgery on the exact day Cody is there? C’mon.
He's driving around in a Nissan Sentra or a Toyota Corolla. He doesn't have a Corvette, never did! Scammers do one thing, they scam (lie and steal, then lie about stealing). The biggest lesson is not to send money to people on Marketplace! If you want to give money away, then seems it to me or give it to charity (you can write that off). My rule of thumb is to put eyes and hands on the product before any money changes hands. What's next? Paying $8k for a bondo'd up Camino?
my mom had pancreatic cancer and when she was here it was hospital visits and doctors all the time, if he really is telling the truth about it then that $500 helped more than you know brotha… were still paying off bills for surgeries n visits. keep the good shi up fam💪💪
Youre telling me this guy works at an Aarons and has a $26k corvette and can't even pay his cable bill and is taking "deposits" from marketplace and backing out of the deals. I am convinced the corvette isn't even real. And not only did she say cancer and he said open heart surgery, he also said she had a big stroke as an excuse to back out of the deal in the first place at 0:42
It’s literally the most common “sale” scam there. People post fake nice looking cars for REALLY good (low) prices and claim there’s lots of interest on the car and ask for a deposit to “make sure you’re a serious buyer” or something similar. FB Marketplace is full of these fake ads. Shocked that people are even surprised by this
@@aggravatedassaultduck Probably gave his mom cancer from his toxic personality. Fuck thieves, fuck scammers. Karma is a bitch. Dude should not have stolen in the first place. Hope he gets evicted.

What you did is honorable and worthy of respect. Whether what Alan said is true or not, you (the WhistlinDiesel team) did a good thing at the end of the day. It is certainly not good to encourage such people. But we rely on humanity, honesty and everyone's common sense. It did you a lot of good, in my opinion. Congratulations. Alan doesn't call or pick up the phone when Cody calls unless he talks with his wife at his house first. Makes sense. Then Cody talks to his wife at his house and she says the mom has cancer and she thinks they are at the hospital. The door closes, Cody gets into his van and after a couple minutes gets a call from Alan claiming his mom is getting open heart surgery. Also notice that Alan's wife began with "he is driving around" then that he is having issues with his mom and built on top of that again that he is in the hospital then she gives an excuse that she is not at the hospital too as if that was important. Makes so much more sense.
Yeah what he doesn’t seem to understand is that lowlife people like this are usually with other lowlife people. A guy doin this kinda shady shit doesn’t get with a church girl, he gets with someone who’s also scummy as hell. Birds of a feather.
These videos are great. I'm an eBay seller on the side.. Once sold a set of Brembo brake calipers to a guy from CT. He lowballed me but I accepted his offer.. A week or so later he said that he wanted to return them.. eBay approved.. What I sent him was a set of four gold Brembos for an infiniti G37. Unfortunately, Three rusty ass calipers of unknown origin were returned.. I contacted the guy, and his position was that it was my fault for dealing with him and accepting his offer. Enraged, I immediately contacted his parents, wife, children, local police department and employer through facebook to let them know he was a thief. eBays overseas seller support was not helpful at first. What finally made them side with me was a discrepancy in the shipping weight of the parts I sent VS what he returned... The refund was halted and returned to me. But I lost some money to fees, shipping, and the time involved.. Moral of the story: beware of lowballers and hagglers.. cheap people do cheap things. Especially Andrew Christoff, the local SnapOn tools guy from Brooklyn Connecticut. He's a thieving piece of shit.. fuck that guy.

I would get intrusive thoughts, and I kept trying to solve this feeling of being dumped on worldly things. And let me tell you, it only makes it worse. If you're someone who is not sure if you're saved, or if you are saved, but have been going through these on and off cycles such as porn, or secular music(which are other cycles I've been having a difficult time with) I want you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. If you don't know what to do, I want you to get on your knees, and pray this prayer with your heart:
Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and was ressurected on the third day. I believe you came to the Earth, to pay for our sins. Thank you for dieing on the cross for my sins, in Your Name, I pray, amen.
I don't know who is reading this, but if you ever fill an empty whole, which cannot be fulfilled, the only way to fulfill is by Jesus. When you turn your back on Jesus, you seek everything other then him. All worldly things, will never fill that hole.
God Bless Yall!

He's driving around
He's driving around in a Nissan Sentra or a Toyota Corolla. He doesn't have a Corvette, never did! Scammers do one thing, they scam (lie and steal, then lie about stealing). The biggest lesson is not to send money to people on Marketplace! If you want to give money away, then seems it to me or give it to charity (you can write that off). My rule of thumb is to put eyes and hands on the product before any money changes hands. What's next? Paying $8k for a bondo'd up Camino?
