It's been a long hard journey to get here, but I'm proud to finally announce... I bought my first helicopter. I know I know... you're worried. But I can assure you all that I have the proper training and expertise needed for something like this. The skies are not ready for me…….

I believe the airspace in your garage is still under FAA jurisdiction. As long as the helicopter stays tethered to the ground , with rope , you should be able to build airtime without a license, just don't break the rope.

Actually, it's not. This is the reason the DRL (Drone Racing League) uses almost exclusively indoor venues. They can do whatever they hell they want without interference from the FAA.
FWIW, the FAA does claim jurisdiction over all other outdoor airspace down to the ground including in your back yard. Court precedent has determined that the only "air space" you own is inside your own structures, and the space in which you may build a structure (you put up an antenna, you own the airspace which it occupies).
If you break the rope you may have to worry about dropping the soap...

Thousands of people fly ultralights, one seaters with no license with no issues or accidents and plenty of licensed pilots have caused accidents. End of the day, as long as you're within the bounds of the law and/or aren't hurting anyone, let the dude have fun.

Not necessarily. Not only are Chiron's expensive, they're also very difficult to get, Bugatti won't give him one, because he publicly stated that he's gonna do durability tests on it, so he'll have to finance or pay cash for a used one, so it's not gonna be too soon.

Idk, helicopters sketch me out, I ride Motorola cycles, probably more dangeorus but hey life has perspective, what can you do, pick your poison. You just won't see me get in a helicopter without a parachute that's all I'm saying haha.
I invested all my money into a shipping company. So I don't have Blackhawk money but Im sure parachutes can't be much money. I could afford an Uber Blackhawk as long as it's not over 1200 dollars 😂

Having been a fanboy of the original “Magnum PI” series back in the day, I have dreamed of owning and flying the original Hughes “Little Bird” 500 helicopter. I’m so jealous.

That was Dennis Fetters first attempt at a helicopter after he developed the Air command Gyrocopter. It was a good Gyro but it got a bad rap because there were very few places to get training. I purchased mine from the late great Bill Parsons and got a week of training in Sanford FL. I was sitting aside of one students wife on the trailer when we both watched her husband porpoise into a blade stall and drop 1000 ft to his death. Man, I will never forget that girl screaming as we watched him drop to his death. Bill was instructing another student and saw what happened and landed as the wife in hysterics ran towards the still spinning blades screaming , tell me he is not dead tell me he is not dead and almost got her head lopped off. There are several of those mini revolutions flying with turbines today. If you are going to fly that helicopter and it appears you are not. I would suggest learning in an older chopper like an early Hiller UH12C or Bell 47 or even a Brantly. These helicopters have carburetors and there is no real correlation between throttle and pitch. You fly these helicopters like a dirt bike and this Revolution uses a 2 cycle engine which is even harder to maintain tight rotor speed. These new piston helicopters have a computer controlled throttle and are just as easy as flying a turbine so they will be of little help teaching you how to fly this machine. Dennis Fetters is still alive and well and he probably has more hours in the Revolution than anyone. Stay in your height velocity and keep a landing sight at the ready and she will give you a lot of fun hours. Looking forward to you flying her.

@@olliefoxx7165 yes the Mini 500 would carry the pilot, I tried to look into the company since I have not seen much about them as well as had an option to buy a basket case. Found out they had an issue with the transmission and the owner skipped country and was in Italy.
