Bill Schultz is a well known Wi smallie angler whose home water is the Milwaukee River. He has several articles and videos online that detail his techniques.
The Hunting Public was that in WISCONSIN that you heard one? My wife went to Lake Superior college up there, in Duluth across the border thanks for sharing all your experiences it gives hope and inspiration!
Guys- Do you ever keep a couple for the fryin' pan? Smallies(and large for that matter) are great eating. I know there are a ton of guys that would never DREAM of keeping a bass, but I'd put them up there with perch, Walleye, anything....
Travis Bowers we don’t really keep bass. Reason being is the population is pretty fragile especially in rivers. It takes a bass a long time to reach maturity and we hope to continue fishing for them in the future. On the other hand we are not opposed to eating other species. Just not very good at catching them haha
It seems like every new adventure I want to go on but talk myself out of for whatever bs reason, you guys just go do. Hats off to ya, I’m not saying you don’t have some skill, but no more than me, you guys just go do it, but what you do have that I don’t USA team of guys around you to do it with. I’ve never had a group of guys as in to the outdoors and video like I am. Cherish it fellas.
Nice quick release on that little one. I know Canada geese molt this time of year. They’re resident geese that can’t fly right know, safety in numbers is what they’re doing. We band them in PA this time of year! Missed you guys! Hey if you’re on the river at night, try a black jitter bug or white or black spinner bait with Colorado blade!! Luck and be safe! Only if you would’ve said “Godzilla!”
Thanks for the fix! We went from drought conditions to raining hard everyday it seems like here in central Illinois. Congrats to the Bronzeback Whisperer (Jake) on ANOTHER 19" ! My goal is to land a 19" this season, and Jake has 2 already @ #longfish. I've been using 3.8" Keitech swing impact fat swimbait on a 3 /0 size 1/8oz. weighted swimbait hook in green pumpkin. Just ordered some of those hooks with a spinner blade on the bottom, they should be the juice, but haven't tried them on a river yet. Nice to see you have the fever (not A fever), please keep em' coming and tight lines.
Travis Bowers I hear the drag singing and Zach winding, all I see are massive twisted loops in my line. Make one cast and the whole spool empties in one large birds nest. I speak from experience here.

Amazing *Video* Congratulations Fisherman, Have a very successful week and good fishing.👍🎣🐟🐠😊
Zak you will like this one , dropping a football smallie back in the water is something I’ve done thousands of times , I been guiding fishing trips for 20 years but for you young bucks , i can imagine it would be kinda like getting ready to kiss a beautiful girl , with horrible terrible garlic breath , oh and I don’t know about you , but I absolutely hate garlic.
Just realized I wasn’t subscribed to this channel! Awesome video man- dropping you a sub all the way from Kentucky! When you get the chance come check me out. #tightlinesandkeepfishing🎣
You mentioned shot audio at the beginning. Was it loud and crackly? Especially in quiet or parts without talking? My GoPro Hero 5 Black does that with the Rode Video Micro on occasion and I feel I constantly have to check it. Awesome video by the way. Good to see you Somewhere In Wisconsin!
I don't kabir why you think you need to set the hook that hard. Maybe invest in some better hooks.. Ur probably rong they're lips right off and why your losing them..
Nice work~

You guys are fishing my spots! Lol I live 2 minutes from where you parked after hitting the deer
Good stuff. Tighten the drag a little on spinning rig Zach!

Nice! Looks similar to what yall fished a few days ago.
Zach does not play around when he sets the hook! I'm waiting for him to flip out of that yak. Good stuff, guys!
Which park or city is this located in Milwaukee? I know the Milwaukee river is a long stretch. If you guys don't mind me asking.
Hunter Vang Probably between West Bend and Milwaukee. Lol.
What happen to the DEER?

Zach... my Dad would say that you set the hook just like I do. Like we're trying to rip the lips out of the fish! haha Great video!!
Probably wouldnt lip a northern pike...
By far the best hunting channel on RUclips, y’all are great, keep it up!

Some friend you are Zach, left your poor fishing buddy with the crazy dog lady. You are suppose to rescue him in situations like that. Lol
Zach is tough. How do you know he's tough? He lips a pike like you would a bass.
Your sucker fish you caught, the rule is every time you catch one is that your supposed to kiss him and then release. It's all for fun !
nice vid :)
Yall should try a whopper plopper
Dude.
Zach you’d lose less fish if you’d set the hook🙄
