Varun Thakur Kautuk always looks down on Neville.
Whenever, Neville say something, he either verbally bully him or deadpan to make Neville feel bad, even after knowing that Neville has anxiety issues which makes him get nervous sometimes while speaking.
I have been watching this happen since they were part of SnG. Kautuk should stop doing that.

The black cat superstition actually has a very interesting story behind it. In my psychology class project, we did a survey on people's opinions on superstitions, and while researching, my friend found out the reason behind the whole 'black cat crossing your path' belief. In olden days, when people used horse-drawn carriages to travel, they often had to travel through dense forests, and at night, it was quite dangerous (no headlights, guys).
Wild animals in the forest (particularly lions and tigers, all the large 'cats') were a big problem for the people traveling at night. Hence begins the superstition of 'if a black cat crosses your path, you need to turn back'. It's original purpose would have been to warn travellers from wild animals, but as time goes by, tales get distorted, and we have the current, seemingly stupid superstition.
That's quite interesting. My friend is afraid having of small pets because he fears he'll step on them. I've had this actually happen to another friend who accidentally stepped on his cat while rushing down the stairs, crushing the poor thing to death.

Yeah but tigers and lions don't look like cats even though they are from the same family. I doubt whether people would call tigers etc cats back then.

Finally got the answer to this superstition! it makes sense here, though it sounded so random earlier. one of my friends would stop the car and wait till some other vehicle goes by, then he'll proceed. So basically by this logic, he's actually sending someone else to die in his stead. 😅😂

Giridhar is still suffering after seeing how Indians came as one, and showed our unity at 9pmApril9th, and showed the liberals and tukde tukde gang thay they are better off in Saudi or Pakistan!! I am sure he is a liberal and secular, and believes in appeasement of certain community and castes, at the cost of upper caste and the sanatan dharma! I ams o happy that India won on April 9th and Pakistna Lost! Atleast now appreaciate Modiji and support him for 2024, and the hindu leaders like yogiji who have done amazing work in the light of Carona illness!

When I was smaller, I never quite believed the mainstream superstitions. Instead, I had my own superstitions or rather absurd compulsions. For instance, whenever I got into an auto, I'd touch the pictures (mostly some images of flowers/babies/greeting) they had on both the sides inside the auto ASAP. If for some reason I couldn't do it, I'd be terribly upset throughout the journey and would wait till I got a chance to complete my ritual on my way out.
I also liked to believe that adults could read my thoughts and this is just a power you got once you're over 18. I knew it wasn't real but I still believed it. I'd be very alert to not make contact with anyone while thinking 'bad thoughts' like not drinking milk, etc. Needless to say I was a weird kid with an overactive imagination.
It's great that you guys are doing this more often during the lockdown. The obvious highlight is that Kautuk is present in all these videos because he's the shepherd of the flock, constantly bringing everybody back to the point and moving the conversation forward without letting it go astray.

"Puraaney Zamaney Mai" there were no roads it was all JUNGLE.. animals everywhere. So when people were traveling from Forest.. they used to tie or carry nimbu mirchi to their Bullock Cart because Lemon is good for dehydration if one Is travelling during day time and since it was all forest.. any poisonous animal bites you.. you cannot feel your taste buds if the poison is spread alot in your body. Agar Mirchi khaao aur teekhi lagey so zeher body Mai jyada nahi faila hai and agar Mirchi teekhi naa lagey so zeher jyada nahi faila hai.. so treatment can be done accordingly. That's why they used to carry nimbu mirchi while travelling. Look what we are doing today 😓

I toh first wear right sock , then put my hand through right sleeve of my shirt ,then put on right shoe, set my hair on the right side, then button up half my shirt buttons, then I wear my specs but make sure to close my left eye, then I lace my right shoe, then i put my hand thru right sleeve of blazer and then have breakfast , then carry on doing the same with the left .

Kautuk’s ‘volume in multiples of 5’ is max relatable! A weird one that I have: my blanket’s label has to be on the bottom left corner when I go to bed. 😶
Also, a Theater superstition: Saying the word ‘Macbeth’ in a Theater space is considered super unlucky and failure of the show in production is guaranteed. That’s why it’s always called ‘The Scottish Play’ in theatres coz you aren’t supposed to say ‘Macbeth’. (And if you do, you have to go outside the Theater and basically do ‘ghaalin lotangan’ 7 times to reverse it.👻)
