Btw the thing about finding America first by the Greenland is used as a premise of a very popular anime "Vinland Saga". This is actually very good anime about Vikings including most of the story to be fictional but the premise is from the true world history as you guys stated. The premise:- Some of the Vikings run away to live in a safe place called Iceland but the place if full of snow and very difficult to survive in the winters and grow crops, so one of the chief, Cheif leaf, decides to go on a journey to find a better land that doesn't have any wars or anything and finds "heaven", now named as America. He became friends with the Indians and came back. The rest of the story is fiction with little truth about the fight between Vikings and the British but the references are pure gold to watch.

Going to the houses of literary stalwarts is one of my favourite things to do while travelling! One of the most moving experiences I have had is going to the poet John Keats' house in Hampstead Heath, London. You are literally standing in the bedroom where he found out he was going to die of TB at 24 years of age. It is a goosebump-inducing moment. And also the love of his life Fanny Brawne lived in a divided section of the same house and he couldn't see her once he got sick, so they wrote each other letters which are still preserved. As well as his scribbled poems, of course, and even a tree outside under which he possibly wrote Ode To A Nightingale! The British definitely know how to honour their literary heroes. Wish Bombay had preserved all our amazing rich literary history the same way too. ☹️
