    Exfog is a great helmet fan. Yes, it can take a beating, and it works great. I only fog in unrealistically humid days. Which has only happened once in over 3 years.

    Worth mentioning dual pane lenses. I believe Dye use them. Some companies like Revision also do them (most cost effective option is a surplus desert locust, then buying the £30 dual pane (thermal) lense from Revision). It works by creating an air gap. The outside pane isn't in direct contact with the warm air, and the inside pane isn't in direct contact with cold air, thus fog forms much less readily. I don't know what the cheap ones are like, but I'd probably avoid them. I've also heard of people making their own with a thin sheet of PET and some form of sealant.

      Desert locust arent bad seen different results from person to person

    • @skywardsoul1178
      @skywardsoul1178 Год назад

      @@jonathanbleecarter Yeah, it's a bit of a crap shoot on what works for who. Some things work great for some and not for others. There are so many variables in how the person perspires, kit they're wearing like helmet, goggle seal due to face shape etc. I think the best combo is probably something with dual pane and something to shift the air, either a fan or external system.

    • @huttserl

      I went on their site and couldn't find a dual pane option; do you know where to buy this by any chance?

      @skywardsoul1178 Год назад +1

      @@huttserl Try searching "thermal lense", my bad for not using the term they use. There are a number of other companies in the UK at least that sell Revision products who sell it too.

  • @DBSTH0R

    All valid points, but I would like to add the following - something that you haven't touched upon: dress lighter than you would normally. What I mean by that is dress for the game, not for the waiting (standing) period before the game starts. During colder period this means that you will be feeling a bit chilly before the game starts, but when it does due to moving (running etc.) your body temperature won't spike up as much as it would if you are dressed for standing still outside. This in return will lower the temperature difference between inner (your body / eyes) and outer space of your protection goggles = much less chance for fogging up.

    just dropping by to say i play outdoors in the winter and during 100% humidity in summertime with a dye mask. i cant get it to fog over if i try to. id rather leave my HPA gun at home and use a rental gun than leave my dye mask at home and play with any other eye pro.

    Hi! I sweat more than the average person, like just after wearing all my gear, I will look like I have taken a shower already. I have gone through a lot of options like dual pane, dual pane large vents plus frog spit. But still my goggles fog up. Is there really a way to eliminate the fog or I am better off with mesh?

    • @TheBBWarrior
      @TheBBWarrior  Год назад

      Take a look at options to help get air flow inside the lenses, or try a different brand of antifog. There’s also the Ex-Fog system that other people claim works really well but I’ve never used myself.

    if you're playing for fun and use less accurate gear you can always get goggles that have a hard mesh instead of lenses. Has naturally great air circulation too. But i guess if you searched and clicked on a "stop fog" video then you already own goggles that can fog up...

    I have found what works best for me is a respirator mask with the filters removed.
    It dosent trap much heat but forms a seal around your mouth and nose and redirects all the warm humid air out of the vents which are lower down and away from your goggles.
    And the controversial statement is that may spare pair of mesh goggles have never fogged.
    As long as you treat them with some kind of anti-rust and replace them if do see any sign of rusting, they are perfectly safe.
    Sure as heck safer than almost falling down a flight of stairs because you fogged up.
