      ESS goggles or a DYE mask also cat crap is a great anti fog product divers use. Do not skimp on safety because you dont want to spend $100 bucks for a real anti fog mask. you either have safe that fog for cheap. or no fog and safe for about $100. but never both for $40 ask yourself how much being able to see is worth to you. not on the field but for the rest of your life.

    super agree, have used these myself, my only warning is that if the fan has any issues staying on the goggles fog up immediately and then you are permanently asking your buddy to check if the fan is running in the middle of the game. Pair i used started having issues with the batteries staying connected which resulted in the fan turning off constantly at random times. They are very good if they work. But if they dont... it's a major headache.

      Interesting. Yeah there's no rating listed, and I always tell people to read the reviews and make your own decision based on comfort level. There are commenters on az saying it's anzi rated, and others saying they tested it against high fps sniper shots. Ours we've been using for a good long while and it's stood up. But, again, you have to be comfortable with what you're buying. 👍

    Maybe if it's 2*C and raining my mask will start fogging, that's how fog resistant it is. I use a JT Spectra Flex 8 paintball mask, not the easiest to use sights with, but it gives good protection, is really comfortable and almost never fogs up. It has a double pane thermal lens with ventilation holes above, really helps keeping the fog away.
    I guess it helps that we have relatively low humidity here in Norway.

    hey Salty, just saw this...thanks. I have Mframes with help kit that I use with Ex fog, however, with Mframes they only work with ex fog 1 way, you have to bring the hoses in from the top which can be a bit problematic because you have to fiddle with them to get them just right and they often come out. i dont know if these will work for me due to me playing the sniper role I have problems with getting cheek welds on my guns using goggles. But I'll give em a try!!

    It does not say on the website that they are ansi rated or what ever the standard airsoft safety goggles are rated at

    • @SaltyOldGamer
      @SaltyOldGamer  5 лет назад +2

      You are correct. It does not say so in the item description. Somewhere in the product comments ppl said they are (take with a grain of salt - not irrefutable proof) and other comments on the product page stated they tested them themselves with 550+ sniper shots, etc. So, ultimately, you have to read through the comments and decide for yourself if you want to try them and/or trust them.

    What the anti fog goggles with the built-in fans how loud are the fans?

    • @SaltyOldGamer
      @SaltyOldGamer  4 года назад +1

      Imperceptible. I can't film gameplay with them because the camera mic actually pics up the vibration noise conducting through the mount, but as far as just playing with them, you cannot hear it.

    Everyone talking about goggles cracking, it sadly seems they've got inconsistency in manufacturing. I'm seeing a lot of people say that their goggles are cracking on 300-400 FPS guns with .20 BBs, but at the same time if you look at their reviews, someone fired .32 gram BBs at ~400, which would be easy to discredit if it weren't for the fact they have it on video.

    Bought a pair. 350fps on 0.2g. First shot cracked the lense, second shot split it open, third shot smashed it to pieces. Threw them in the bin and bought Revision Desert Locusts with a fan instead. Do not cheap out on eye pro guys... Repeated the test on both lenses.

    See I wanted to participate in milsims, but being a glasses wearer as well means fog, So I bought a full face mesh mask to just deal with my problems, I spent 40 dollars on that. God I wish I had seen this video before I made that purchase. Ill definitely be picking these up though, Good upload.

    I would highly recommend you just pick up an Exfog. $80 is a worthwhile investment into the most vital piece of your kit. There are also hella resources into how to mount it on nearly any platform whether it be hat, boonie, or helmet AND Exfog's customer service is phenomenal so if you have any issues, they'll be sure to take care of it!

    I bought the FMA model on taiwangun for only 20€...never worked properly, the fan turn just a few seconds then it stops...I think it's a really cheap construction.
    The solution...stop spending money in bad solutions (20€+30€+......=200€ for nothing great) and invest in the ess turbofan, it's around 200€ but man, it is the only good product to go on!

    Are the H World Shopping Regulator Goggle the fame thing as the FMA SI Ballistic goggles? Thanks!

    • @SaltyOldGamer
      @SaltyOldGamer  5 лет назад +1

      They are not the same as the SI Ballistic goggles. I looked those up and the fan placement and motor are slightly different. BUT, yes, they are FMA branded goggles. A quick google search seems to indicate they are "FMA Lpg01bk12-2r Regulator" goggles. They definitely come in an FMA case which can be seen at 02:16. Not sure why it's not mentioned anywhere in the Amazon listing.

    Second Con is, that they dont have certification, but i tested my googles with 3 shoots from 5cm from 450 fps airsoft gun, result : no crack, no scratch

      For gameplay the noise is imperceptible. It won't bother you at all. However, if you record gameplay with a camera on your forehead, it will pick up a dim hum of the fan on the recording.

    I decided to give these goggles a try and I''m glad I shoot my eye pro before I go to use it. I shot these goggles with a .25g BB at approximate 350 FPS, the lenses dented and began to crack. Straight into the trash, my eyes are worth more than $30.

      Well, they are full seal. But, I've been very clear you have to make your own decision on the reliability of these. They have mixed reviews on Amazon. Some say they've cracked. Some say they stood up to point blank 550 fps snipers. I'm comfortable with these because we additionally have glasses on inside them. Cheers. 👍😄

    • @SaltyOldGamer
      @SaltyOldGamer  3 года назад

      No rating due to made in China... I always tell people to read the reviews and make your own decision based on comfort level. There are commenters on az saying it's anzi level rated, and others saying they tested it against high fps sniper shots. And there's the opposite. Ours we've been using for a good long while and it's stood up. But, again, you have to be comfortable with what you're buying and use your own discretion. 👍
