The magnets are an absolutly great idea. I just built my own pair from some spare magnets in around five minutes. Works just fine on my ESS Advancer goggles.
I use a spray sealant that I use on cars. Works amazing. Had rental goggles that i couldnt get to fog afterwards. I used chemical guys v7 hybrid sealant. Spray on let it sit then wipe it off and was good all day.
I am SO glad I clicked on this video. I played airsoft again for the first time in 11 years, and I was so fogged up all day! I started shaking my head left and right to get good air into the goggles and clear them, and it worked but SOAB was i fogged. Im doing the magnets, such a great idea. Thanks for this.
For indoor/ open areas the magnets are amazing, but I found that if you are running through a lot of brush it is really easy to knock the outside magnet off.
I can see how it would happen but I personally have not run into that issue. I have knocked my camera off in dense underbrush but the little magnet held on for me.
Thank you very very much for this video. I tried the dish soap and it works! I have a Dye mask and it always fogged. I looked for a solution, found this video and tried the dish soap and the magnetic wiper. It works!!!! Now, it rarely fogs and when it occurs, I use the magnetic wiper. Wish this comment is useful. Peace
That magnetic wipe is genius. I'm buying like 4 sets immediately. I'm wondering if a system like the exfog, cleaning and fog proofing, then adding this wipe might be the ultimate combination.
I just saw the magnet thing the other day and thought it was a good idea. Was going to buy some expensive goggles but might hold off now. Thanks guys nice work, I subbed!
great video. I fog so bad it ruins my games as I have to wonder back to the respawn point every 10 minutes cause I can't see to play. I'm going to try the dish soap and magnetic wiper combo and see if it helps
magnets look a viable option but not available in the UK - so instead we're on the hunt for small magnets we can glue some material to. Thanks for the heads up.,..
I bought some stuff from walmart bc i forgot some stuff at home and was going to a 3 day event, and I also bought some anti fog wipes for my goggles... they didn't work, i'd have to go to a safe space where there were team mates, take my goggles off, wipe them down, and all that, and it was horrible... but it only happened when I got down into the bushes, and brush, it wasn't so bad when I was standing
My solution is that I find out who's all going to the game and then contact each player individually to borrow fifty bucks and then I just don't wear any eye protection at all. That way if they shoot at me, they risk hitting my eyes and also losing their fifty bucks.
I got goggle for winter biking turns out every directions has this problem, Ski, cycling, motercycles .... this things are so useless after just a couple of minutes in winter... and they are made for it.
Hi thanks for sharing.. I'm a construction 🔨 worker and safety glasses 👓 or goggles are mandated. My question is do you think dust and dirt would scratch up and ruin any of those fan goggles while sliding that magnet around on lenses once steam/sweat gets to be to over whelming for goggle fan?? And which fan goggle in your opinion is the most powerful bc once I get working I tend to sweat 💦 a lot. Thanks a lot dude
Hey, Personally I have Smith Optics OTW and i found the fan works great but I also stripped the protective foam off the googles to help with additional ventilation. Considering you are working with dust and dirt you most likely are going to want to keep that foam so it kinda changes the equation a bit but I think the fan will stand up ok in those conditions. In regards to the magnet wipes they have felt on the bottom and so far have not scratched my goggles while diving into the dirt playing airsoft at all, so they are a good bet. Dont know if that helps but it's my two cents...
I think as long as there is airflow, it wont matter, I hooked up a fan like this www.evike.com/products/42477/ it works great even if my lenses have been fogging. It cools off the inner lense to match the outside. I aim it on my forehead down from my helmet, others run it across. You will always fog eventually, but this clears it up nice
Now onto the question i give everyone, i have day-to-day glasses and goggles, would a fan-powered goggle be best since it will move air across both surfaces ?
Yes, some of these solutions do apply to Paintball. However many paintball masks do come with thermal dual pane lenses which offer better fog resistance from the get go.
One Word: WARQ I've switched to the best airsoft helmet/mask/google solution on the market and never looked back. Yes, they are expensive, but they acutually NEVER foged on me, even I'm wearing my correction glasses undeneath.
Waw, its 2019 and fogging up is still a problem ... I mean, whats wrong in rubbing some kind of liquid that doesnt evapourate, like beard oil or water based lube you use on your weener ? Gently rub it on the inside googles to cover glas with thin film. DONE.

what did you put between magnets? what kind of material?
@@haxaweddings probably micro fiber cloth

I want to try that :-)

My solution (I wear glasses): Get ESS goggles, rip off top foam fill. Never get fogging again (Unless you get sweat on the glasses)
Denis Guba sorry I dont really understand English what is ESS
Use Baby Shampoo!
It's designed to get in eyes.
*Mic drop*
haha "Its designed to get into eyes", no, its designed to not hurt IF it gets into the eyes, its meant to clean your hair ;P
Actually kinda clever...
You are sharing valuable dad secrets. Watch out
ever think about how they tested to make sure it doesn't hurt baby's eyes?
its design to wash you eye with it!

Any scuba shop will sell Defog for like 2-8$ and it works amazing. One spritz on each lens and your set for the next few hours.
imma try that

5/10 games I go blind man ty even tho it’s an old video tysm
Great video, but if something is clearing fog off, it doesn't prevent fogging. Still, looks like a neat product
well guys I purchased a lens that i replaced and I need nothing as they do not fog I can't remember the lens but they are anti fog for sure.
Shoutout to the Wolfs

For the magnets idea would I just use two small small magnets on either side of the goggles.

What fixed condensation?
that magnetic wipe gets wet amd does start to smudge real bad
Use toothpaste! I also put it on my restroom mirrors when showering
And where do I put it?
Very cool
I am a sniper and HATE it when i have a good shot on someone and my goggles fog up, especially during recon missions and need a full field of view.
Is there a link for the magnet
Yes
Get the x800 goggles. They are the best anti fog eye protection ive ever owned. They NEVER fog up (unless you breathe right into it lol)
Or unless sweat touches it, they DO fog up
What’s better to blow air into your goggles or to suck the air out

Ever heard of exfog?
Imma glue a pc fan to the vents of my goggles and have a battery taped to my hat
Don't forget the power bank 😂
@@HussaRAirsoft it takes normal AA batteries, I’ve seen a guy that made it in my site
Paper towels will scratch the lense.
Why the #€!&_- did I never think of this! Seriously the same thing is on my fish tank! Thank alot guys this really really really helped!!
1:10 no thats not a long term solution, definitely not. (;
It just takes a long time lol
Guys... Just never take off your eye pro in the middle of a game, I have almost taken out people's eyes because of it.
Have you tried Exfog...the true end all be all
Good video recommend some wireless mics...

or... just use mesh goggles :)
They are easily penetrated trash in point blank situations. Even paint on mesh may shatter and fly on impact.
@@DarkNightmareUA the ones I use haven't let me down - maybe you had a cheap pair?
@@Kelvostrass its not abkut how cheap they are, mesh in general can cause a bb to litterally shatter and send shard in your eye
