  • @manuginobilisbaldspot424

    This was ironically just like the 1992 game in LA. The Raiders, while only 3-4 that year, had won three straight, including dismantling the Bills and had all this good feeling on a dysfunctional team. But just like '92, the Cowboys seemed to assert or in this case, reassert their dominance while sending the Raiders off in to the abyss. They never recovered from this game psychologically. Which I don't understand because the Cowboys were a great team and losing to them shouldn't have spiraled them the way it did. Unless, you're a dysfunctional group on the verge of teetering to begin with.

    • @TalkMyShiit
      @TalkMyShiit Год назад +2

      Hoss was hurt and was pretty much at the end of the road that year … Mike White was disciplined enough to help the Raiders over this possible SB preview and still Week 17 against the Broncos still couldn’t win to make the playoffs as a wildcard. The 90s Raiders were very enigmatic at best.

  • @PredatorKingdom
    @PredatorKingdom 2 года назад +6

    I know this one has to hurt the Oakland Raiders fans who lost the team again after the 2019 season. This was Madden's first time back for a Raiders game in Oakland since the team moved to LA after the 1981 season. Back when the Cowboys were actually a dominant force in the league on their way to their last SB title. If the Coliseum looks a little different that's because it's the way it used to look before the renovations started after this season where it was closed in all the way in time for the 1996 season.

    Even listening in 2023, I can still tell Madden and Summerall were the best ever. On a side note, the stigmatism of "not wanting to make a tackle" or "not wanting to make a play cuz he didn't want to get hurt" attached to Deion's name shows up at 17:56 and 23:17. There's probably more, but I am going to stop watching this video at that missed FG. I gtg. Plus, I don't want to sit and nit pick on Deion. He was amazing. He is the top 3 best defensive player to ever play. (Lawrence Taylor, Deion, Aaron Donald, maybe Ray Lewis? Am I missing someone else?) So it feels a bit blasphemous to criticize him. It just that those 2 plays came blaring out at me and I thought I would bring it up. LOL

    3. Novacek is one of the most underappreciated receivers ever.
    4. Deion is the best CB ever.
    5. Troy is the 2nd best Cowboys QB ever. Dallas has had such success over the years because they have had good QBs almost every year. Does any franchise match their succession of Meredith, Morton, Staubach, White, Aikman, Bledsoe, Romo, and Dak?

    God I miss 90s NFL. There is absolutely zero facet of today's NFL that is better than what it used to be. In every way, shape and form it is the worst it has ever been.

      Eventually every game will be on a different streaming service therefore forcing you to watch even more commercials and can't change channels to watch different games. Its all about $ now. The football is just a side note. Greed! Greed! Greed!

      Their last world championship was in the city of Los Angeles
      As they defeated the redskins the NFL’s number one offense in SB18 in Tampa by the tune of 38-9 (1984)

      I was at this game as well wearing cowboy colors. I was in the 3rd grade and my dad bought us tickets but he couldn't make it so my I had convince my mom to take me. We were escorted to our section by security 😂. Only NFL game I've ever been to and I'll never forget it.

    What really would make the NFL complete, is if the NFL should include commentators in the football hall of Fame. They should have enshrinement of the great commentators of the history in the NFL.
