- The up-and-coming Cowboys are coming off a gut-punch loss in Washington. Can they finally put the nail in the coffin and lock up their first NFC East title since 1985, or will the underdog Atlanta Falcons play spoilers?

RIP Wade Wilson. I was just looking up his career stats, and I saw that he passed away on his 60th birthday, in 2019.
Aikman was such a monster. Wish we could've seen him in a season where he threw the ball as much as a Dan Marino type offense.

Thank you for posting the whole game here. I've been looking for this for forever, and all I could find was the highlights. One of the first Cowboys I can remember watching as I didn't start watching football til 92.

Atlanta got two home games on MNF that year in their first year in the Georgia Dome. Unfortunately, they had to face the 49ers & Cowboys. Both teams hung 41 points on them. Oof.
And the Cowboys hung 30 on SF. Jimmy never lost to the 49ers after he got his team built, on the other hand, I don't believe they have beaten the 49ers since Jimmy left.

I can't understand why they tore down the Georgia Dome. It was still good. They didn't need a new stadium, least of all a billion dollar one.
In this one the rest of the league and the country got a *real* good look at the Dallas freight train that was coming over the next few years. One of my favorite games from our last true glory years.
They should have named the Georgia Dome the "Flimsy Dome" as the roof blew open on two occasions during storms. No surprise the place is long torn down. The Falcons did make history in 1998 as they were the first Dome team to make Super Bowl (33) but lost to Denver. The 1999 St Louis Rams became the first indoor team to win a Super Bowl.

In the 16th week of the ‘92 season, Dan learned that refs miss calls sometimes. He never got over it.
If you watch the film the ball was moving in his hands before it went out of view, Dan was almost always wrong and an ass about it to boot.
This football was more enjoyable play pass and running game defense and offensive teams played. Broadcasters told called the like it was. Thanks memories

I've been a Cowboy fan ever since my dad t ook me to my 1st Cowboy game, Cotton Bowl, 1963 against the REDSKINS ! That was the Don Meredith to "bullet Bob Hays" "bombs" Era. 😊

He was diagnosed with CTE, a common ailment that former football players are diagnosed with posthumously. His transposing of some of the names was a cause of that.

wow the 92 Cowboys had so much depth on both sides of the ball...by 94 they had already lost so many depth guys Harper and Martin at WR.. .Washington , Holt , Everett , Jones , Norton ,Maryland on defence ans couple O line men...and Larry Allen was come to come

Please read . This was Dec 20th and I was stuck $5150.00 . 5 days before Christmas. I had about 2 grand and a horrible weekend. So I played 2500 Hundy Dallas -7.5 & 2500 Hundy over 48.5 . Nervous wreck and hit ( won ) both bets . No kiddin . And my bookmaker and I didn’t see each other of the figure was less than $500.00 . It was 150.00 pheeew .!!

07:35 announcers are completely wrong. The refs got it right. 08:24 you can clearly see as the Cowboy player touched the Atlanta player, the ball started coming out before he hit the ground. The Atlanta player was just tying to regain control and couldn't. Should have been unnecessary roughness for throwing the Cowboy player down out of bounds which injured a referee.
He was down.
