Romo and Witten. Two Cowboys that truly deserved a ring. Romo was a class act, and a damn good QB. He deserved so much more respect and way less criticism than he received. But most loudly recited fact: calling him a choker. Ummm, no. That's the penis envy talkers.
It’s probably a situation where the times he messed up are more memorable to people than the times he succeeded.
But if you look back at his career in its entirety, you’ll see that Romo was a pretty darn good player.
If a quarterback had his career for a less successful franchise, he’d probably be considered a good player in a team with a middling history to it.
But he couldn't win when it mattered the most, thus earning the choke label.
@@finchborat Top 5 in comeback record in entire league history, but "not in games that mattered", right? Hilarious.
I'll bet you're really puked at Marino, right? And Jim Kelly, peee-uuuu! He played like a champion in all those Super Bowls, but because they lost, he must have been a choker who choked, right? Hilarious.
@@Bill_Woo One big difference. Marino and Kelly were able to advance in the playoffs and get to the Super Bowl. Didn't get rings, but it was mainly due to the teams they faced.
What is really mystifying are the haters that equate Romos career as a QB as one single play when he was not a QB.
I was just explaining to my little brother that every NFL fan is 50% a fan of their actual team & 50% of whatever team is playing the cowboys that week…💙⭐️
Te la cambio el 51 de porcentaje es aficionado a Cowboys y el 49 maldito número encontra de Cowboys . Así q explícale bien ok
Well nobody likes an owner that shows off "America's Team" when they haven't accomplished anything in 28 years
Facts!!!!
you either love'm or hate'm
Best Dallas quarterback ever!!! “ Roger Stalbacks, exact words. Romo never had a team except for maybe two seasons. Had he had the early 90s Cowboys rather than Troy, they would’ve won six Super Bowls straight I promise.!! I sincerely believe that!
What is wrong with you? 2 and 4 in the playoffs.
You are crazy lol. he has 5 interceptions in just this game
Nope. Not how it works 😂
That's is an absolutely ridiculous comment. Troy Aikman did what he was asked to do with all the other talent around him. He never hurt the team during that run. If Troy was on another team or playing now throwing 40/50 times a game his numbers would be insane.
Roger said Aikman was the greatest cowboy quarterback ever!
3 superbowl wins!
Holy shit. This is the game where I became a Cowboys and a football fan. I saw this ending when I was a kid and have been a fan ever since. I was young and not a real football watcher at the time so I never could remember the specifics. I knew the game ended in a 53 yard FG and the Cowboys were 5-0 afterwards which was our best record in a long time. I have always loved Romo and can’t believe I happened upon this video. Romo was the king of 4th quarter comebacks.
What year was that ?
Even on a bad day, Tony was good!
Romo and Witten. Two Cowboys that truly deserved a ring. Romo was a class act, and a damn good QB. He deserved so much more respect and way less criticism than he received. Y'all might not remember the San Fran game. We were getting our butts kicked and Romo came running out of the locker room (against doctors orders) with a punctured lung and broken ribs and brought us back to win that football game. That man gave our team everything he had. Loved Romo.
Watched this live at the same time while I watched HBK Shawn Michaels make his dramatic return on WWE Raw.
Oh shit, I remember that moment too!!! That means I had to be running from my room and the living room trying to watch both hahaha
I remember watching this back in middle school at my uncles house who is a Steelers fan and was talking shit the whole game. He was so mad afterwards! Good times
This onside kick was Sam Hurt's BEST career play !!! Even if He didn't actually recover it Sam was the Man who got it started WOW !! Hope after all these years He has finally got the rest of his life straightened out .

Nick Folk is still kicking in the league in 2024
nothing but love for my cowboy #9 Tony Romo
Loved Romo. Loved Witten. 2 classy players. Sad they couldn't pull out a championship, but Loved watching them play. They both played with heart and grit.
I've said it before and i'll say it again, Romo CARRIED that pathetic team FOR YEARS!
Yes he did! They didn't deserve him!
Wish he was our QB now especially with this defense
@@youtuber_00786This defense is a bunch of front runners, the 2014 defense was getting guys off the street but they played way harder than this.
Just give Romo the 2014 defense plus Bland, Diggs and Parsons and they win the whole thing.
@@tommyl.dayandtherunaways820What do you mean when you say “front runner”?
OMG......most have forgot? ROMO made some good plays, but HE was the reason the always Muffed games.....cmon guys, what dream are yall in?
I was in a Hotel room across the Niagara River from the Stadium in Canada on this night yelling my heart out for the Cowboys .
Greatest Comeback for the Romo Team ever in 2007 .
The Bills and their history of losing in heartbreaking fashion. Some things never change (Bills-Philly game, I'm looking at you). The Buffalo curse is real. Lol
Sounds like my cardinals 🫥🫥
Football will never be this great again
Romo played with more heart and drive than Dak ever has
Lmao man stop
@@enriquepalacios366he ain’t lyin bro. Accept it, Dak can’t even beat a top tier team since he came into the league. Only beats up on scrub teams
Yup every hype up game we had with Dak never won. And in my opinion it was always sorry teams he beat. Stats can't lie.
I don't think after 8 years of him that he is going to make a huge step. that's what he iò
One of the greatest games I have ever seen in my life. It may be the best. I remember it like it was yesterday
40 years from now Tony Romo will be recognized as the NFL GOAT!
Hahahaha
🤣🤣🤣
WTF?
Romo was definitely one of the most underrated QBs in NFL history and no doubt in my mind , he will be a first ballot HOFer
Even if you think he belongs someday, I wouldn’t argue first ballot.
I don’t think he’s a hofer
Even as a cowboy fan, I don't think he'll ever get in. He doesn't have the accolades nor the postseason numbers to warrant it. He'll be in the Cowboys Ring of Honor though with Witten and Ware at least. And thats good enough for me
I think he’s been eligible for a few years now already
@@magallan1with the commentator work he’s doing he still has a chance
Dallas Cowboys Against Buffalo Bills Last Meeting In 1993 Super Bowl Thanks For Uploading
I still remember this game like yesterday. This comeback win game with Tony Romo 5 ints to beat Bills
2007. I missed this year; it was our year for sure.
I wonder what would of happened had cowboys or Packers who really should of been there how they would of done al Harris and Charles woodson was no joke that year !!!
Yeah if only Romo didn't have a hard on for witten and passed the ball to a wide open TO in the end zone instead of forcing it to witten in triple coverage
@@asundelgun3487he wasn’t open. get your eyes checked
@@jap5076 I don’t remember the play in that much detail, but I bet that guy’s version of wide open was ‘when the ball was thrown, whoever was initially covering TO went towards the ball, making TO look more open than he really was.’
I watched this game on the edge my kitchen table on a 15” tube TV 📺 as a fan of no team, just a fan of football.
To this day one of the craziest games I’ve ever watched.
13 Seconds haunts the Bills again 🤣
This commentary team is one of my all time favorites!!
What we really needed was Romo magic in the Playoffs!
I think if he played that year Dak took over, we could have went all the way.
@@brianhunter7407yeah no his back was fucked up
"That's my Quarterback"😢😢😢
That’s my Quarterback
Excellent kick(s) kept his composure.
I went to school with my dallas gear on the next day loud & proud 😂
This is game is a PERFECT example of Romos entire career. Dude gets picked 5 times, sacked twice, does nothing til the last quarter, then squeaks by with a win. They won this game, and lost all the ones that counted
If Romo had come back from his injury in 2016, with the offensive line, the defense, and a rookie Zeke, he would have lead the Cowboys to a Superbowl victory
As a backup?
They wouldn't have been 14-2 if romo hadn't got hurt that season lol 😂
No they wouldn't
@ericmcgowan1993 they would've been 15-1
@tbrown4562 why weren't they ever?
In all the other 13 seasons with romo? 🙄
Back when football was just football, miss those days.
I was just talking about this game approximately a month ago. I remember it well. I watched it until the end.
Could only imagine what Sunday will bring when I’m there with my cowboys jersey on 😂
How did it go?
I remember watching this game. What a crazy ending! I went nuts!
nick folk been that guy 🥶
I remember watching this at home with my dad. Great memory
I miss when the NFL had Reebok uniforms.
Hell na I’m glad they went with Nike
@@conormayweather5474 Well obviously Reebok isn't really relevant anymore.
I remember this game like it was yesterday. Tony said it after the game that the defense saved his but. Tony was great quarterback and most under rated.
Loved Romo all he needed was a running back and a defense.
This is hands down my favorite game I ever watched.
Imagine Dak Prescott throwing 5 interceptions....game over.
Romo is by far one on the Best Sports Caster Football Minds in the Game👍
Nick Folk 😂
He gave us so many moments man I remember having hope I mean me and my buddies really believed he would get that Super Bowl ❤good memories thank you Romo for giving it your all we got to witness that 100 no regrets you left it all on the field hey maybe you should coach the Boys and get that ring later ❤❤❤
Tony Romo wasnt blessed like Dak was with talented team's. If Romo had this current talented team, im sure they would have made it to the NFC championship or SB.
Facts, the number of times Romo had to chase down balls snapped over his head or had the ball snapped before he was ready was insane and yet he still kept Dallas relevant every year. Just one SB and he'd have been 1st ballot HoF...
Romo's offense was good except the running back and if he had the defense like Dak they would of had several super bowls.
2007 had some crazy MNF games. Steelers/Dolphins (another 3-0 game we saw this past weekend between vikings/raiders), obviously this game, packers/broncos, pats/ravens.
What’s funny is Josh Allen reminds me of Tony Romo. Gunslinger with bad ball security.
Oh my....I was at this game!!! I'm a Cowboys fan that was visiting family and friends in the Watertown area, saw the Boys were gonna be in Buffalo and got the tickets. Great Game!!!!
What a weird combination in the booth back then. Tirico, Jaworski and Tony Kornheiser.
lol Kornheiser
It was Tirico, Jaworski and Gruden for some time in the early 2010's. It was a pretty good combination
100%. FANTASTIC QB. Just never built a good offensive line until it was too late.
If only Romo had a a decent off line it would have been a much different ending.
guy was running for his life half the time
They already posted this one, but it’s so nice to see it twice
This is also the Cowboys' last win at Buffalo to date.
Love the vids!
"Romo Magic at its Finest!" Sure - a 2 TD to SIX TURNOVER game and he's "magical". Talk about hyperbole - geez. "Boys Nation wants to see him as the GOAT, not the perennial injured/choker that he was. In his 4 Pro Bowl/Playoff seasons he had 33 Pro Bowlers and 9 All-Pros playing behind him with Hofers (Witten, Owens) and yet he was MIA in half of his PO games. When he wasn't on loaded teams, he did nothing except get injured and choke away the season (including the 2 biggest blown leads in 'Boys history). He has now been eligible for the HOF for 3 years and has not made it to the semi-finales. That ought to tell you something. "Boys stans - replies will be ignored.
Nobody said he was the goat. Also, disagreeing with you doesn't make someone a "Stan". If you don't want replies, don't post. Grow up.
@@egglordsasuke8532 First off, I guess you don't read many comments here and on other YT videos. If you did, Dallas fans have called him that. Second, I will comment as much as want on YT. Last I checked it was a free country. Third, if you don't like what I said (facts) here you can just skip to the next thread or video. Finally, I have the right to ignore any comments that I choose to. Again if you don't like what I said here, you may ignore it. I don't get personal with anyone telling them to "grow up" like you did. Perhaps you should take your own advice.
I love being a bills fan my entire life and continuously seeing new ways to lose in epic madden video game fashion every year.
You mean to tell me Mike Shanahan was the first person to Ice the kicker!? 🤔
I'll never forget this game. It was on my birthday.
I absolutely loved watching their offense move the ball. I was on the edge of my seat every time though .. cause the risks he'd take!
Tony Romo is the most underrated player in Dallas Cowboys history! The fans loved him.. non fans hated him!
Gee.. doesn't that sound familiar 😮
The Pretender by Foo Fighters plays when the play was reviewed 😂😂😂.
2007, the last time I watched a Cowboys season. My heart broke during that playoff game vs the Giants, and I just don't have the heart to ever watch them again.
Tony Romo 😂😂
Romo always did well with time management. He played really well many times
Also think I saw a clip of Romo throwing on the run, and hitting all his targets in that game, least it seemed like he was
Oh man, how I enjoyed watching this generation of cowboys players, was too young during the triplets era, so for me this is the team I enjoyed the most
God I remember this game like it was yesterday. It was amazing, I aged 12 years in one night.
Romo is the greatest. Favorite player all time
I want Romo back!
this was the game that made me a cowboys fan...i remember being a kid watching this game
Ill never forget that magical hold on that extra point 😂😂😂😂 nobody better lay a finger on his butter finger's 😂😂😂😂😂
His 5 picks in this game were also what got us there
I remember watching this game it was an emotional roller coaster ride
During Romo Time with the Cowboys, all I heard was, “He Sucks, they need to get rid of Romo, Romo isn’t no franchise QB…etc. etc. etc.”
I was like this is actually an amazing QB, His accuracy is on point and he is a tough ass QB. Almost reminded me of a John Elway or even a Joe Montana. But because QBs can’t do it all, and Defense CornerBacks are allowing the opposing team to constantly score, it always put the Cowboys at 50-60percent on seasonal wins. Now that this guy is gone, the timing is very off, because the team that fits Romo now is this 2024 Cowboys, but of course Dak is not Romo and that is just how life goes.
Big Shout out to you Romo, I will forever believe you were the Truth, but the team you were given wasn’t 💯.
My favorite memory of your best game was when you and Payton Manning had a QB showdown against the Denver Broncos.
Almost reaching a combined 1000 yards between the both of you.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😀😀😀
I watch Romo quarterback the Cowboys from the beginning. He was a winning quarterback, one of the best. Just wish he could have taken the cowboys to the Super Bowl to crown his career.
