    It occurred to me..as an out of market Dallas fan, I didn't see the non-national games from that great year. This is my chance, 28 years later!

    Call of the game at 45:18 just before halftime while it's still just 14-7 Cowboys and 3rd and 8.
    Lead draw- run play for 16 yards right up the middle! Epic!

    This is Michael Irvin's big game. The Cardinals just were being the Cardinals (terrible) as usual. Dallas always seemed to crush the Cardinals in Dallas, but always struggled (except in 1995) in Arizona.

    2:30:00 LOL at the post game press conference with all the reporters holding their mikes up to JJ. I wonder how long it took them to figure out you could just sit the coach down at a table, give him one mike and everyone hook up auxillary mikes to that input source?

      At the time I don't think most stadiums had press rooms that were set up for the big postgame interview the way they are now. You had to do this in the tunnel or a hallway or something and there was nowhere to plug anything in.

    • @divinebeing2476
      @divinebeing2476 4 года назад +2

      94 49ers were good but this dallas team won 3 super bowls in 4 years so no they were good but not the best the cowboys were definitely the dynasty of the nineties then secondly was the 97 98 broncos but I would say they were not far behind just in terms of championship success they were a little below par but they got that one in 94 in between the three that the cowboys won let's be honest this cowboys offense was damn near unstoppable most every game

    • @elbowgang9715
      @elbowgang9715 2 года назад +1

      @DivineBeing247 unstoppable? How? These Cowboys teams won because of their offensive line and depth. The most unstoppable teams offensively of the 90s were the 99 Rams, 98 Vikings and 91 Redskins. Their numbers blow these Cowboy numbers out the park.

    • @manuginobilisbaldspot424
      @manuginobilisbaldspot424 Год назад +2

      @@elbowgang9715 And yet, the 99 Rams scored 11 and 23 points in their last two games, the 98 Vikings didn't make the Super Bowl, and the 91 Skins...lost to these younger Cowboys at home. This team was deliberate by design, but could beat you any way you wanted and had the best defense in the league to boot. Best team of the decade is correct. And didn't have to cheat the cap like the 94 49ers or 98 Broncos.

    Dumbest decision by Cardinals coach at 39:31 to punt from the Cowboys 40 yard line on 4th and 7 when they just missed an easy first down on the previous play but he dropped the pass and even worse they went for it from their own 39 yard line! Makes no sense! Crazy 😄

BECAUSE KICK RETURNERS DON'T HAVE THE OTHER TEAM'S PLAYERS WANTING TO SEPARATE YOU FROM THE BALL AS SOON AS YOU CATCH IT, LOL..KICKOFFS ARE LOW-PRESSURE, PUNT RETURNERS ARE A DIFFERENT BREED APART..IT TAKES SKILL, FOCUS AND GUTS TO CATCH A PUNT, KNOWING YOU MAY GET LEVELED BY A 250-LB SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER WHO'S JOB IT IS TO DO JUST THAT..FIELDING PUNTS IN PRACTICE IS ONE THING;IN A GAME, IT CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE IN WINNING AND LOSING..AND IT'S DANGEROUS AS HELL..

    Joe Bugel was in way over his head as a head coach. Nice guy, just not up to the task. The Cardinals had Chris Chandler, they sign Beuerlein in the offseason to take over in '93, Bugel gets fired after the '93 season, Buddy Ryan takes over and tosses the great Beuerlein to the curb. Chris Chandler goes on to play in a Super Bowl. Typical Cardinals.
