In many asian villages where farming still the main source of income people still do that... 30-50 people build houses together in short time.

Watching this video was a Godsend. It spoke to my heart and reminded me of better days and happier times and how wonderful it is to have friends. I am going through a difficult time in my life and I have massive life changing choices to make. Top it off with a Cancer diagnosis and challenging living conditions, since o started gutting the farm house and got sick right about the time I took up all the flooring and ripped out the kitchen cabinets and countertops....... So this was soothing to my soul to watch. I wish I was there to sit amongst y'all and soak up the peace.

We've got solar. Wasn't too hard to install or expensive.
I used to live up in those mountains in a monastery and love them. What a beautiful creation and team although my heart ached in the beginning as you cut down those trees. I thought is that really necessary? Ouch. It was beautiful to see you all work together and I hope the place brings peace and well being to many. Blessings

Just the fact that you need shelter means there were resources removed from the planet to give you a home...or is it ok to make your house but not theirs?

Mariusz SarnaPL Wood fired hot tub’s been around for decades. Little submersed stove with wood or coal in it with water circulating around it heats it up.

Are you getting your power from generators, solar, or do you have electric?
It was all generator. We just got the cabin (and cabin only) on solar. There are some standalone solar lights throughout the property as well.
