It sounds like you have some adjustment to do on those ladders. We shouldn't be hearing 3 clicks at each 6" height notch as the lift is being raised. Each safety cog should drop into the ladders' notches simultaneously. It's easier to level the runways (adjust the cables) while the cables are holding the weight. Then adjust each ladder until the bottom of each notch (cutout) just touches the bottom of each safety cog.
