    Assembling this quilt top felt so good! What WIP's do you have lying around that you would love to finish?

      I have several WIP... I will find time tonight for playing with a few improv blocks. Thanks for sharing this tutorial! I ❤ the dark color choice for this quilt. 👍😀

    It’s been a looooong time since I’ve been this over-the-moon INSPIRED. I’ve been in luuove w/the concept of improve quilting without feeling adequate to the challenge - Until NOW! Thank you, Irene, for explaining sooo clearly your insights into how: (1) to calculate sashing spaces, (2) to cut sashing fabric, and (3) to assemble the resulting collection of wonderfully twerky blocks into a coherent whole! 🥰👏 SOOO Much Fun!

    It's really a fun quilt. The blue sets off the oranges so nicely. I've never done an improv quilt, so I appreciate your thought processes and design techniques. I know it will be so cool when it's done.

    What is that fabric you use in the background so the cotton block stick to it? I was going to make a foam board and use pin to pin my quilt. But I guess there is a kind of fabric you can use on the wall so the quilt block can stick to it without using pins. I need to get those and tape it to my wall.
    Always love your videos. You use such bright colour in your quilt and always turn out amazing. And you always are cheerful. It is always very enjoyable fir me to watch your videos!!

    Irene what is your background?? You seem to love Math and are very good at it. I love how the quilt is coming along it's amazing. The green background arrow on the design wall is that from another project or is that going to be a part of the border? I had to go check my ruler when you kept saying 10 3/4 because I have the same one and I knew it was 12 inches, so funny the way we get stuck on something.

    • @Sugaridoo
      @Sugaridoo  5 лет назад +2

      Haii! I'm a mechanical engineer and indeed looove math! Wanted to be a math teacher when I just started highschool haha. I didn't really like how that block turned out, so it's not going to be in the quilt. I was laughing at myself when I was editing the video (and also checked my ruler!...). It all turned out just fine in the end :)
