Thanks bud! I'm shooting with a Hero 11 (hyperview) at 24fps and stabilization on (normal, not boost). It's all mounted to a Hohem iSteady Pro 4 Gimbal, which is attached to a Stuntman chest harness. It's a bit much. But I love the look.
@@DustyTrailsMTB I mean, if one rides and doesn't track it did one one really ride at all? Lol. I think I had mentioned to you before that I had knee surgery and couldn't ride. I picked up an eMTB (Wire Peak comp) and I've been loving it. Did 100 miles on it last week, almost 200 miles since I bought it the end of July. Almost all of it local, work sucks. But it's been awesome.
I do remember you saying that. Such a bummer. But it sounds like the ebike is the perfect therapy? So many reasons to let ebikes on the trail, with the #1 reason being that they look like a lot of fun!
@@DustyTrailsMTB It's been amazing. It's still a huge workout, I'm still getting reps in. I can just go faster on uphills. But I've lost 7lbs in two weeks. Mine has the weakest motor shimano makes, so even on max assist depending on the hill I still have to drop to as low as my eagle gear. But I can ride and not hate my knees so it's awesome :)
You mentioned you needed more speed for the gap, may be just hard to tell from the GoPro, but I thought your speed in general looked really high, just gotta get some more pop going.
That's super hard to answer without more context. I'm in Whistler at the moment, and the kids here make me look like i still have training wheels on - so yeah, they would stomp this. But I wouldn't take my friend's kid down this. What type of riding does your kid like? The climb to the top is pretty tough. - it's a long moderate pitch, with a few really punchy bits towards the top, but it's all doubletrack with no obstacles. The trail itself is well groomed, and anything scary can be walked, though it is a high speed trail, so. you'll want to be heads up. Hope this helps!
@@DustyTrailsMTB that was helpful, I think we’re about 2 years away from that for high speeds. Looking for fun trails in the area without high speed and cliffs.
@jimmy.oung.altig-organization The speed is all user generated. Nothing is too steep. And I don't think there was any exposure. I'd suggest you go give it a scout yourself! It's a super fun trail network. You won't be disappointed with how you spent the day! Plus, you can tell your partner that it was a scouting mission for your kid -not for you - and thus shouldn't count against your weekly ride allowance 😉
Really? I was there just a few months ago, and it seemed great! Tho I did only ride these two trails. I've ridden MUCH worse, but some TLC always goes a long way!
I dunno man, the builders put a ton of constant work in here and are constantly replacing wood features as they rot or are storm damaged. You sure you ride here often?
great work on that gap. I really like the footage, very smooth. camera and mount?

Dude that was sick. You on Strava?
Can one ride a bike and not Strava? Lol. www.strava.com/athletes/6883307 ( I should also add the strava trail data to the video description huh? )

My dog’s name is Indi too! 🤣 You guys planning on coming to Post Canyon at all?
The best dogs ever! We hit post canyon for sure! Dropping that video Monday! It's a special spot for us!
You guys missed magic carpet outside Dallas

💯 this. You are spot on, I need to learn how to pop!
Is this trail kid friendly?

Too bad the whole system is in need of repair. Years ago this place was mint

@@DustyTrailsMTB use to be a lot more wood features, more trails, and smoother all around. I ride there almost every weekend.
