Hey man! I'm a local to this park! Less than 15 minutes away from my house, I'm really stoked you enjoyed it! It's super cool to see a newer video of my favorite park.
Great stuff. I really like how you open each video with the world and then shrink down to your riding location along with where you came from...... Really cool!
@@BCpov your welcome. Don't know if it's your editing skills, biking skills, or just that your a fellow Canuck and I miss hearing the accent. Probably all.
I love forest POVs. With endless flow and cinematic music!! I had to watch it on the P.C. BIG screen (will watch it later on the flat screen). Well done Eric👍🏽 -Sam
I rode here yesterday after watching this video! I ran into an acquaintance of mine, and he echoed my thoughts: Bonsai is a blue trail that absolutely rides like a black. Almost anyone will be able to ride their brakes and get down it if they need to, but if you open up there are a lot of fun features and big hits.
That is an awesome place, wished we had something similar over here in Europe. As you said, a ride a week in the park would help me as well! So much fun watching! THANKS!
This is one of my favorite places to go that’s near me. I’m glad you got a chance to ride these tracks. Not many people talk about the trails around here.
I used to ride those trails on a heavy, hard tail Trek bike. Haven’t been there in years. Banzai is one of my all time favorite trails, you can get going ridiculously fast on it.
If you go into santiam bikes they will tell you all about it and other great riding spots. Troy is awesome hes the one who told me about BlackRock and catamount.
Great vid Eric, Revor certainly seems to have gotten his MOJO back as a few months ago he wasn't game to do some of the stuff you were doing in Squamish now he's killing it! Looking forward to seeing some more Squamish stuff the steep tech rock rolls there are awesome
I follow numerous MTB RUclipsrs.... But I LOVE yours and Yuka's channels! You two are DAMN good bikers. Faaaar better than myself. But I love when there are features and trails that you are scared to do or say no to and the thought process involved (which is same for us lesser bikers). Gets boring watching other pros/champs flying 80 feet through the air all day. Also you and Yuka seem to get sketched out about different things and times and seem to push/out do each other on other things........ Sometimes Yuka is absolutely fearless! Lol. Great vids. Love from Surrey, BC!!!!!
If you're headed up north hit Duthie Hill outside Seattle. Very similar but more compact so you can get in more runs. And there is a 'baby gap' line called Gravy Train that will get you over those fears in no time!
I miss that place. Haven't ridden there regularly since about 2009 on my old Norco Shore when I was in my early 40's. Pretty curious to see how my current Transition Sentinel will fare there. By the way, the lower road gap on Granny's is WAY scarier to watch someone else hit than to actually hit it yourself. Mind over matter. Everything there is so well built. Props to the BRMBA crew as always!
Really appreciate all of the videos you guys have put out. Old 80’s Sponsored BMXr (young though stopped at 14. Been doing a lot of research but so many choices between hard tail and FS. Really was gonna go hardtail but think I am sold on the Marin Rift Zone 2 27.5. All insight is welcome
Awesome. I love black rock. It was the very first place my wife and I rode when we got our bikes last year. It was definitely trial by fire lol. Black rock is amazing but next time your in the area you really need to go check out the trails by alsea falls. They are awesome and I'd say even better than black rock.
Have you been to Idre fjäll, Sweden? They have a mountain bike park and its like one of the only ones ive been to! I would say its great! First there’s a park with different trails and stuff, like normal. But then, you can walk up on the mountain! There’s a trail that goes all the way from the top down to the bike park! Otherwise the view is just amazing and they have a resturant at the top of the mountain. And also there are more mountains to explore!
Local to this place and its great! The uphill climb is also great for endurance training too and as long as you got some energy gels and some carbs, you can definately climb up to the top at a minimum of at least 2 times. Favorite trail is Sickner Gnar but they are all pretty good!
@@drewbliss3044 it usually takes me anywhere from 35-40 minutes from the basic training area. I’d say even with average fitness, an hour is pretty doable.
Great Video! Like the fact that you show that even you as advanced still trains the "little" jumps. Guess practice really makes perfect. Have you ever considered to make videos about bike maintainance or tipps for beginners? Just bought a new mountainbike (hardtail, because...money) and would love to learn about how you handle, treat and clean your bike. Keep on the nice and autentic videos!
Good review of the park. Almost went there this past November but opted for Sandy Ridge instead. You should add that to your list if you haven’t ridden there, too.

i live by black rock too, definetly my favorite trail system in oregon, I love freeride!
Dallas?
@Kanoa Smith nice I live in dallas
Is there a local bike shop to rent bikes to ride here??
🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽chakra bra
Great stuff. I really like how you open each video with the world and then shrink down to your riding location along with where you came from...... Really cool!
Thanks for noticing! Takes a bit of work to make those :)
@@BCpov I bet..... it separates your videos from everyone else's.
I love that too.
Great BCpov vid as usual. BUT, the vids I enjoyed the most were those without the music ie., BC Bike Race. Thanks
They have a second channel with full rides and nothing but bike noises
@@oly8241 what is it?
poev ponarak I don’t know the name but they show it in a recent video
It’s called bcraw
I can't get jiggy with this music!!!!
Your videos make me want to sell everything, build a van, grab my wife and kids, and travel and bike. Loving everything brother. Awesome video.
Thanks lifted :)
@@BCpov your welcome. Don't know if it's your editing skills, biking skills, or just that your a fellow Canuck and I miss hearing the accent. Probably all.
Go ride Alsea Falls, if you’re still in Oregon!!!!
@Robert Carleski I guessing you live in Corvallis
That terrain is frickin gorgeous with the open woods, patchy sunlight, and red dirt.
I love forest POVs. With endless flow and cinematic music!! I had to watch it on the P.C. BIG screen (will watch it later on the flat screen). Well done Eric👍🏽

Thanks, Zen!
This place looks amazing! I just did a video of a micro micro miniature version of some wooden practice features in Orlando.
Florida tons of cool wood stuff from what I've seen!
BCpov yeah there’s a lot of wooden features to practice

My home trail! LOVE this place. I'm here 2-3x a week
You must be getting sendy 2-3x a week then! ha!
@@BCpov yessir! It's where I learned to get sendy lol

Thanks for another great vid! Keep up the good work.😀
Thanks Anakin!

This is actually my second time here, it's been around for a while :)
BCpov a long while indeed. Surprising that very few visit with how great it is.
You ever go there in the winter months? Planning on going up there tomorrow. I've never been but wondering if it gets too slick this time of year?
Just stumbled across this while planning a ride out there with some friends. Talk about some good luck
Cool park. Looks like fun. Love all the wood features. Black rock rocks.
I used to ride those trails on a heavy, hard tail Trek bike. Haven’t been there in years. Banzai is one of my all time favorite trails, you can get going ridiculously fast on it.
Man that place goes right away to my bucket list
Next trip up to America?
For sure I want a biking trip or BCBR one day
Ahhhhh I can feel the fresh air!
I’ve lived in Salem for 9 years now.. never even heard a sliver about this place!!! Thank you so much for the info!
If you go into santiam bikes they will tell you all about it and other great riding spots. Troy is awesome hes the one who told me about BlackRock and catamount.
WOW man what a place. The trail is so awesome. can spend all day there. so much to choose from. Thanks for the adventure!!
Thanks for the cool vid Eric! Now I have somewhere to visit in Oregon come summertime!!
Just moved to PDX and had never heard of this place. I’m so stoked for the PNW riding I’ve yet to experience.
The wooden features looked amazing!
Great video. Looks like my ideal place - very pretty too. Now to just recreate it here in Florida. 🤣
Love your videos Eric! I just came across Yuka’s channel yesterday, she’s got great content as well! Much love from AZ!
Haha, thanks for watching!
Nice video brother. I was one of the main designers and builders on Sickter Gnar and upper Grannies Kitchen. Glad you Enjoyed.
Thanks for your effort dude. I love sickter knar!
Great video!
Thanks to your videos have i started to ride mountainbike btw love your channel and continue the good work
Awesome video! I see some people complaining about the music. I for one LIKE the music. Well done!
Looks like the perfect trail through the woods. Rip me for be german. I´ll never get to ride this trail.
Just go to america, i will too and im dutch and 13yo

Moving from Indiana to Eugene, Oregon and salivating over being relatively close to this trail!

Hi. Could you please let me know what 3 bikes were used in this video?
What a cool spot!!!🚵🏾♀️
And I thought the music was spot on!! Good stuff!
This place looks wicked! Definitely gonna have to visit one day!
What a am amazing place,it looked like so much fun ride. I wish it was closer also Oregon is little far from the North Shore. Great video, thank you.
THIS IS MY LOCAL RIDING SPOT!
Sick Dgnar, and Bonseye are my top two trails there
I haven't heard of that place. I get out to Portland frequently. I might need to make a side trip. Great vid Eric! Bonsai!
A little out of the way, but definitely worth a look!
The quality of your videos is one of the best, joinned with the excelent narrative, best place to view MTb trails \o/ cheers from Brazil
What was the adrenalin like doing that trail at 1:41? Mine was pretty high just watching that.

Amazing video !

Im from sweden and My Mother is from Thailand sadly i vant speak thai but asian language sounds amazing!!!
Some day I’ll go to here and ride!🤟
I liked the music! When you were at the beginner skills park it sounded like you were on the tutorial level of a video game. Something different...
Do Sandy ridge!
Awesome 👍 🙏🔝🚴🔝📸☑️
@BCpov How do you make the videos so "stable" ? Why is it not "shaky" when going down hill ? Great video. I like the narratives too.
the music sounds like a large ball of fire was chasing you down that mountain :D
3:08 oh shit, that was close !
great vid mate, i would love to ride there..
After how many rides do you make video of the trail ?
I helped dig trail there once. Then we shuttled 😎
You should travel to Turkey Run mtb park, by the Silo Center.
