My housemate got a new bike the day before yesterday, which led me to learn of a place you can hire a bike for as little as a couple of hours and hit some trails on the edge of the city where I live. I went mountain biking for the first time ever the day before yesterday. I have been watching your videos for the last two years, with this earning to get out there. I don't have the funds for a decent bike outright, but I have the funds to rent one at least once a week and ride the local trails I have until now not discovered. As soon as I was on the bike I was hopping around the car park, itching to get lost in some trees. The excitement took fear from me, and I rode as hard as I felt comfortable. I've never had such an experience on two wheels before. Thank you for inspiring me, and somehow filling me with confidence.
I've recently gotten into mountain biking and just last week I got my first mountain bike! I watch your videos for tips and stuff, you've been a great help so far -ann
Video at 10:56 "Gheez another climb, this Kebecker he's love to suffer..." LOL We like to suffer when the reward is good. If it does not hurt you to suffer a bit like you said, there are several places you should try. Chairlifts are rather rare here for mountain biking. But that does not discourage us. I hope you will have a lot of fun doing MTB in our province.
"Angmar" is the name of the Witch Kings kingdom before it was known that he was the Witch King, it was situated north east of the shire in the snowy area, it was instrumental in taking down Arnor (Gondor's sister kingdom) but was then driven back to the North and soon after the Witch King went back to Mordor.
Nice! havent been back to Bromont since World Cup 1993 when I was assisting with the race. Still have the Tshirt. I started Racing back in 1986 in Quebec and came to Banff in 91. Great place to ride looks even better now!
I live in horribly flat south U.S. and watching your POV vids truly puts me there with you guys for the ride! When I'm barreling down....err umm...along our swamp run flats at top pump speed, it's fun to at least envision I'm on those gorgeous BC trails! Thanks please keep em coming! I have plans to start traveling soon after I get used to this first full suspension bike (brand intentionally left out)!
I like that these trails dont give it a feel of a bike park but just a distant mountain trail . They blend into the terrain very well . . Bike park trails can look unnatural to try to get the optimum performance . Your bike is quiet, Not a squeak or a creek to be found
I always ride the lift side, #5, 6, 7... never even knew there was all this awesome rideage on the other side... they really need to open a lift on that side tho...
Yes la litière du chaton bicolore was pretty well pronounced, I'm French and I understand you well, but la fugue du chaton bicolore was a little more approximately well pronounced 😁 Thanks for your share and to meet you one day😋
They seemed to be racing instead of enjoying the ride and figuring out the lines. Glad he eventually went separate ways because they were not waiting for Yuka!
Welcome to the eastern half of the Northern Hemisphere, where trails aren't typically groomed. We make you work for it by leaving in lots of rocks and roots. And climbs here are part of the fun.
My first bike is in the shop now and I've yet to ride it or do any mountain biking stuff for that matter. Super excited, your content has been encouraging and I'm excited to do the beginner stuff :)
Hi Eric, we had a wonderful couple months in Quebec and Ontario during summer (we’re from Australia). We loved Mont Sainte Anne for enduro, and for XC, none better than Larose Forest just East of Ottawa. Such beautiful loamy forest trails, I hope you get time to experience them for yourself. 🤘🏼
The runaway two-coloured kitten, apparently! Not all of us can get to ride trails that are Whistler standards, the Pro Lines and Double Blacks in Québec are gnarly in there own right🤘
Never rode a mountain trail before, been watching your videos for 7 days looking for a bike for 6. Great content maybe we will meet in a mountain someday untill then keep it somewhat safe.

Im beginning to see a pattern here. Moutain bikers on a trail they've never been on seem to take a slow, but when their on a trail they know, they full send
Passing through Toronto on your way back west? We have some wacky (and pedally) single track if you're interested in checking it out, not what you'd expect, and with all the big-city amenities nearby ;) Feel free to get in touch if you're down!
Excellent. Maybe we passed each other - I am road tripping Quebec to Squamish. Bromont is great - though I have a season pass and have not found some of these trails.

It seems like each trail has it's own head piece that really can set it apart from others.
Welcome to Quebec bro, glad you enjoyed your stay! Love hearing the Quebecois accent in your vids XD
Le tabarnak que seul nous connaissons
Ahhhh j’adore le Québec, il n y a rien de plus merveilleux que les tabarnak de belles pistes.
that's a great summary, the trails here in Quebec in indeed pretty raw....

I live in montreal and bike at bromont all the time glad you enjoyed i tried kicking horse in BC most amazing mountain i’ve been to
I keep getting scared he’s gonna hit a tree
How
Yea
I hit a tree at bromont going 40km. Scariest most painful experience in my life 😅🤕
@@O6i yes, when it happens, it's the one thing that can almost scare you away from riding :(
Same. I hit into a few trees before.

that song at 8 mins sounds like a rad acoustic version of "Know Your Enemy" by Rage Against the Machine
Do you know the name of the riff that starts at 15:20 by any chance?
Guillaume's back!!! Yaas!

Dam it i miss you at Bromont 😥😥
That park is so Enduro Bro-mont!!
So cool. I go skiing here a lot
I feel for Yuka on this one....being taken through some super janky lines as the Quebecers race onward
They seemed to be racing instead of enjoying the ride and figuring out the lines. Glad he eventually went separate ways because they were not waiting for Yuka!

You should come back next season, they open new trails on Le Massif ski resort, its about an hour past Mont Ste Anne.
I love these guys
Thanks man! I didn’t know there was a bike mounain at Bromont! I went skiing a lot at Bromont but not biking
Il y a eu plusieurs world cup à Bromont depuis 1992 je crois.... tu dois vivre sous une roche! 🤣
Me and my friends made a trail in North Carolina called the Narry Trail because his wife says it 😆😆
dude this is so cool my favorite youtuber in my city
Great video, nice ride!
Eric, you should hook up with MTBQC while you are there. That guy rides some sweet looking trails out that way. tabarnac.
Way too busy while he was here with the Vélirium and all, but yes, if you come back, let me know ;)

Looks like a good trail system
Right on dude! Glad to see you in my neck of the woods. If for some reason you end up in Southern Ontario, I can show you the goods!
That’s a long drive! Looks worth it though! Great footage
i love raw and gnarly trails ( french alps and stuff )

Bromont is a RAD riding spot!
It was pretty fun! I've been discovering how good the riding in Quebec is in general!
If your still in the Bromont area you should pop across the Vermont border and check out Kingdom Trails. Decent riding there.
Can we just sit and think for a second, imagine how much times this dude would’ve had to fill up his car to get there
Ohh tabarnak !

Awesome video mate! Thanks, I’m suppose to go back to Montreal for work, and was afraid they haven’t trails on this side of the country 😁
We have some trail in Montreal just ask the good personne to show you where they are
Alexandre Boutin will definitely ask and search for them when I’ll be back. Thanks mate 😁
Did you clear the bridge jump? I didnt see it in the video
They removed it. With the new chairlift they built, we would have jumped into the gondolas .... Instead there is a new dirt jump. Not as fun tho.
