I've stopped along the trails, and thought I must have gone the wrong way as NOBODY could ride a bike down this -- only to have a pack of riders blow by me and feed me some humble pie.
LOL that'd be wild ... I was at Killington last year during the US Open. I knew he'd be there but Jackson Goldstone rode past me on Black Magic. There were probably 50 kids following him, amazing when you see these guys in person. And there's a "whip-off" and I went right after him. I don't think a single person saw me, lol ... Not that they were missing anything special but the kid steals the show for good reason. He's so small but he's a demon out there.
So much better than just the umpteenth repetition of the jump lines 🤠 And if Ronan from Dublin keeps at it, he can have a decent career in mountain biking! 😅

If you haven't been, it's so ridiculous steep in person, GoPro doesn't come close to doing it justice ... Amazing how much better at DH Matt has gotten in just the last 2 years. Love watching him and Ronan ride together, you can tell they both admire each other.

Body, Matt loved the runs you and the others were riding, But Matt you maybe the person to push for it and suggest it to Red Bull getting a hardline track at Whistler would be sick some of the stuff you rode would be sick on a hardline track. Whistler and other bike parks can offer trails for everyone. People of all skill levels love the bike parks. Riders remember, if there is a bad crash with your fellow rider and they don't move, don't move them! Don't take off their helmets, don't touch them! It take trained paramedics to move them properly in the event of a neck or back issue. They could be injured, moving them more can finish what the accident started. Spinal cords are delicate. 1. Concentrate on your ride and your bike. 2. Glance shortly at your fellow riders. 3. Concentrate on your bike and your ride. 4. If your bike is bucking, make adjustments and feel like your controlling the bike in the air. 5. If you feel like your along for the ride in the Air, don't hit larger jumps.
The only time that these cameras can show how steep things are is when you are stopped at the top of a feature, and we can see how small the other rider is at the bottom. 4:45 is a great example of this. Before he rides down before you, it looks hard, but not silly. When he is at the bottom, and turning left he looks like an ant on a bike.
