I have actually done all 3 of these in the last year. I can truthfully say they all do work, over time you’ll find how to use them in your own way but it’s well worth doing
Being bored is actually super important now a days!! And I meant being bored with out a screen in front of your face! Your brain will naturally begin to take you places and help you imagine things.
esp for our kiddos my girl is already turning in to a Unicorn compared to many her age. She's in a Waldorf school too, so that helps! it's ok to not have every spare second crammed full of CRAP and activities, giving our power away to other people and schedules
The looks that I get from people in Waiting rooms when I whip out a book from my purse to read instead of scrolling through my phone is hilarious. And I noticed a lot of older people look at me with a smirk and a nod of appreciation to see a young person reading a book and not stuck on a phone. It makes me happy to see
Breath work 4-7-8, is super powerful! I was raised to always stay busy, even when I don’t have anything to do, something needs to be done. Now that I’m on my own, I literally take a break from everything on the weekends, and it wholesomely changed my life for the best!!! Do spend, don’t scroll, don’t watch tv, turn off all electronics, and just meditate and breathe, listen to nature’s music and or (if electronics on) dance!
I discovered your point #1 by myself, a few days ago: Do the little stuff right away. Strange that I now hear it also, as good advice from you! Thank you.
Thank you. Practicing these weird yet micro habits are so helpful after a major burn out. And doing nothing without feeling guilty is a plus these days too. Some days can be challenging especially when you’re conditioned to doing things and being productive. Being present in my body gives me a whole lot of energy to create new things. 🙏🏼✨🧿🧠☝️
Thank you for sharing and getting right to the point and being clear. Thanks for showing that it is actually so easy to just tell your audience the thing you can do to make your life better--as opposed to all those ads that drivel on forever telling you they have the thing to change your life but never tell you what it is
I love all the energy tips. I've discovered lately, to get those boring tasks done by spending a few seconds focusing on the task and then like he said, " when doing it right away, I get so much energy back". Even if it's more than two minutes, I do what I call, " The All Done" game. It really works. What a a sense of accomplishment.
I applied the boredom just today, waiting at the doctor. I used the time for doing nothing. Beware, this was a conscious decision to make my mind relax. That is why I didn't get nervous like others.
1. 5min cleaning (means everything you need to do and does not take long) before you go out is perfect. 2. Keep up your explosive stamina, short sprint or jumping for 5min will kick your breathing and condition. 3. Do not think about something until it happens, there are no what if, there are no repeating, learning, or watching something, just enjoy doing nothing, when something happens, like question, you will react and will be open without thinking.
I don’t have any social media except RUclips. I also don’t have data on my phone, except Wi-Fi at home. For context I’m 30, it really puts you in the present and forces you to pay attention to what’s around you and to others. But on the other side of this, it shows you how reliant other people are to their phones. People rather scroll through ig and respond to messages than talk to whoever is right in front of them
The breathing helps a lot. Throughout the day I take deep breaths. I work in a high stress job and I find myself getting less stress and angry with it.
The 2 minute rule is fantastic; it's amazing how much you can do in such a short time. I mess up a lot of things cooking meals, but there's always gaps between stirring or cutting, and I use that time to clean a few things. When dinner's ready, I've used half the kitchen, but all that's left to clean is one pot and a spoon.
i always feel so strange as the only person not on their phone when i’m waiting somewhere or for something but i feel so connected in the present & “awake” if that makes sense. it makes me sad that kids these days rarely experience car rides looking out the window too.
holy moly - one touch - brilliant esp. for us ADHD peeps. Keeping the phone out of hand is easy thankfully, I quit TV 30 years ago and have been cautious with all tech in recent years. People some times get weirded out (esp older Millennials who have no greater fear than awkwardness, which was SOP for us Gen X 80's kids) by anyone not looking at a screen at all times, like in waiting rooms, lines at store etc. It's so funny!
3 Small Habits to Change Your Life Under An Year 1. One Touching - Something that takes less than 2 min to do. Do it Now 2. Breath Work - For 3 to 5 minutes 3. Boredom Moments - In those 5 min time gaps between work, DO NOTHING
I hear this and I hear my dad say these things and they are the very things that took me 27 years to discover he was right on my own with experience minus the phone thing lol.
Paying the bill: Go to computer. Start computer. Grab TAN calculator. Go back grab wallet. Find bank homepage. Click on online banking. Type in number combo. Grab card and tan generator to get access. Pull up transfer screen. Check that I've got enough money on that account. Type in name. Type in 16 digit bankcode Check 16 digit bankcode Check again. Type in amount. Grab. TAN generator and bankcard again. Type in TAN. Conform. Clean up shit. That is NOT 2 minutes. More like 8 to 10. If you then. Have to grab the electronics toolkit to replace the battery in the TAN generator, you may end up with 1,5 hours, if that special battery is out and you have to go to the shops. I get the gist, but MOST things do not take 2 minutes. They take 10.
Yes! Amazing this been on my mind for a while but after that video I’ll defo do that. I was even researching which methods to do 🤩 need to break that dopamine addiction in those feee movements
I do that. Good habits, still depressed. Maybe you don‘t change your life, but you do something different…. So in a way you change your life. But you can still be depressed.
I love doing nothing it especially helps with sleep do nothing for an hour before sleep you will feel the difference you may even fall asleep before you reach the hour if your tired enough but somhow you still have energy if you continue to watch your phone . No screens and a little music helps too but not as much.
Are you a parent of school age kids? There are so many 2 minute jobs from school and for your kids including my work that I would not sleep, so I have one day a week I do these things so that I pace my life and enjoy my family
I've also found that spending so much time on my phone actually steals energy, whereas being bored actually gives energy
I did not think about it like that, that makes a lot of sense
Does it?? Im gonna try
Sounds about right!
Wow... That hit close to home man.
Excellent insight, almost everyone experiences this
yeah, being on the phone like 24/7 doesn't make you tired physically but it sure does mentally
The power of doing nothing is huge. It's also a great source creativity
when im bored i just think about sick songs that i would create, but cant play the guitar

Nice
Deep breathing = deep thinking. Really great advice!
I can confirm these three are really potent!

#1 is a game changer, have been doing it for about a year now 💯
I discovered your point #1 by myself, a few days ago: Do the little stuff right away. Strange that I now hear it also, as good advice from you! Thank you.
The first and third tip. I been doing. It's so true. Great way to get objectives done
Thank you.
Practicing these weird yet micro habits are so helpful after a major burn out.

Breath work has really improved my life , thanks for the tip.
Nervous system regulation is so vital
Thank you for sharing and getting right to the point and being clear.

We neglect simple things so much, great advices !

Thank you Clark. You're always so well spoken with amazing wisdom! 💕
The last 2 are a way of meditation. All that anxiety free "me" time is absolutely essential
This is my favourite RUclips channel now
I was expecting to hear, drink water, get up early, exercise etc but this is actually so helpful and makes growth seem so reachable. Thank you 😊
I love how they are incredibly simple yet we let it sometimes get the best of us. I hope to remember to implement more breath work
Totally true , Clark, I am a science investigator for my profession, and all neurologists that I know of, back you up!!

These are 3 amazing tips! Absolutely great advice.
Agrees but I would also suggest to exercise too its relaxing healthy helps the brain mentally and physically, and also helps breathing better :).

Thank you Sire. Great advice.
The breathing helps a lot. Throughout the day I take deep breaths. I work in a high stress job and I find myself getting less stress and angry with it.
When you replace "doing nothing" with mindfulness practice, it will get even better ❤
Learning how to properly belly breathe is probably one of the most essential things i believe will help a lot of people.
Great tips! The first one is crucial.

I already use 1 and 3 and they actually work.......am gonna apply 2 too
"Mental Ram"
ive never thought or heard of that before. Buddy just made me teach myself a new concept
I LOVE these advices, thankyou!
Simple quality information. Thank you brother. Blessings

All good: last two are Vagus nerve, just variations but worth it.
Also dishes. Not less than 2.
But putting something back in place, yeah, totally worth it. Like shoes back in storage box
Great info. Finally something useful amongst the sea of "prank" videos and thirst trap videos.
Thank you, appreciate the video content/tips ❤

Getting things done now is good advice
Great advice
Wow I'm on the right track.... I have to seriously work on the first one. The other 2 I already do consistently 😊
Pure Truth.
This video is very precious
I have to be honest, I only stopped scrolling because this man is fiiine fine. Now I gotta get back to responding to emails I just marked as “unread”.
ty so much for these tips ❤
I'll start with breathing
oh god the AI is replicating this kind of content and format over and over, its never gonna stop will it?
I hear this and I hear my dad say these things and they are the very things that took me 27 years to discover he was right on my own with experience minus the phone thing lol.
Love this!!🌈❤
It totally works for me. Super "Atomic Habits"!!!Thanks Clark!
Agree 100%. Doing is the thing🤪
Thanks so much
Love this
I do 30 mins of breath work in the morning with a teacher on zoom - amazing
Wow I found this really useful
3rd one is so good, but people might not do it 😅
This rule should NOT apply to emails. The more you respond to, the more you’ll get back in response. It’s a losing proposition.
Paying the bill:
Go to computer.

Click on online banking.
Type in number combo.
Grab card and tan generator to get access.
Pull up transfer screen.
Check that I've got enough money on that account.
Type in name.
Type in 16 digit bankcode
Check 16 digit bankcode
Check again.
Type in amount.
Grab. TAN generator and bankcard again.
Type in TAN.

Clean up shit.
That is NOT 2 minutes.
More like 8 to 10.

I get the gist, but MOST things do not take 2 minutes.
They take 10.
I've been practicing the on touch method by making it 5min instead of 2. I realized that I stopped procrastinating instantly
Just when I needed to hear this! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Habit 4. Ride a bike EVERYDAY!!🤘👍♾🎯❤
Yes! Amazing this been on my mind for a while but after that video I’ll defo do that. I was even researching which methods to do 🤩 need to break that dopamine addiction in those feee movements
So true!
I been doing all these without this so VERY good video😂😂😂
Thank you sir
1. Do all things instantly that take less than 2 minutes
2.
Thank you
I do that. Good habits, still depressed. Maybe you don‘t change your life, but you do something different…. So in a way you change your life. But you can still be depressed.
This is why I never take my phone when going somewhere. It's better to do nothing than rot your brain with social media on your phone.
Thank you.
I just discovered your channel and I love it
She's so good! 🔥
Thank you from your content. Keep up the solid work
I love doing nothing it especially helps with sleep do nothing for an hour before sleep you will feel the difference you may even fall asleep before you reach the hour if your tired enough but somhow you still have energy if you continue to watch your phone . No screens and a little music helps too but not as much.
Good advice.
