You're pretty gifted at commentary. Literally played a game where clicked once every like 30 seconds and made it really entertaining
I just started and was feeling a bit frustrated about this game. I would die around the 15-18 minute mark every run. I watched this video and learned so much of how I was playing this game wrong. The first run after watching I got to 28 minutes. The second run was my first successful run. Thanks for the inspiration.
Good job! The game will become easier with every run you do!
Took me about 10 or 15 tries to get past that point too. Once you start to get which passives improve the weapons you have it gets way easier (that and learning how to evolve).
I love that the level up priority essentially is: I need to level everything up, that's what I need to do when I level up
So not only can you win without moving, this shows that it is possible to win without any evolved items too.
I won my first few maps without any evolved items because i didn't know how to obtain them, today i finally got evolved whip and garlic and it was easy getting to lvl 83

interesting to see you use pentagram to fix the issue of no xp after too many gems spawn outside your orb pickup range when I completed this challenge (no curse) I had to focus orb first and make sure I didnt level bone too much early and managed to keep the xp flowing the entire 30 minutes
Yeah but... why banish it when you can upgrade it? The upgraded pentagram would collect all the xp and slurp it to you instead. Assuming he could get a chest to land on him I guess.
@@Bancheis When I tried the chests VERY rarely landed on you the boss has to die in a very specific place very close to you so upgrading reliably isn’t feasible. I assume he banished to keep the cooldown longest to minimize xp loss

Yeah it was crazy. for it to trigger 3 times consecutively you need a 0.034% chance.

@@Funbloxia There's a fix amount of exp orb that can exist at a certain time. The problem is the more you level up, the more damage and area your weapons have, hence more and more enemies will died outside your pick up area. if pentagram didn't delete the unpickable exp orb, the less exp orb will drop inside your pickup zone. 22:42

Just found this video the other day and it was super entertaining. I played Vampire Survivors for the second time after watching this and I tried this character as I'd unlocked them the first play session. Using your build as a guide I gave the library a try as I had trouble with it the first time with a different character as there's not much room for circling enemies. But man I DESTROYED the run with ease. Thanks for much for the entertaining AND informative/helpful video!
The pentagram strat is so smart would have never thought about the fact that any red ruby will essentially stop any leveling. 🤔
Explain this? Why banish it at lvl 2?
@@hironobu64 He needed the highest chance for penta to delete all gems.
How this game works: If you kill too many enemies they stop dropping gems BUT the new exp doesnt get deleted. It gets stored into a red ruby somewhere just off screen. Which would gather all the exp and since he can´t move he would stop leveling up.
@@Spinexus that explains why sometimes red gems give me 3-4 levels at once lol
@@Spinexus I started grinding this game yesterday, and I could not figure out why I sometimes would insta level 5 times all of a sudden. This explains a lot and will give me room to play with that mechanic. Thanks man!

Penta hitting 3 times in a row: 0,0343% chance. This will happen in 1 of every 3000 runs (roughly).

1 every 3000 runs ain’t even that significant and the calculation doesn’t account for anything besides the base chance to occur at any specific point in time.
The king bibles were moving soooo fast that they actually looked like they were moving backwards at 30:38-30:43
I think it works like an optical illusion dude look at the other parts with the maxed out bible and u can make it go both ways lol

I've done a single digit number of runs and saw this so decided to try this seeing you not insta die off the start and I insta-died off the start lol. Guess those power ups make a massive difference as to why peoples runs look so different.
its like path of exile with the "story" and the "endgame"... getting your powerups is the way to the real game
It's a fake video game essentially. Beating the game on the first run is literally impossible, while with upgrades you barely have to do anything. It's the opposite of a rogue-like.

i like that they show gold and floor chicken because of the new system they just added. It allows me to use 1 of the Arcanas, or rather the option to use that arcana and not have it be wasted.
Mad groove actually puts everything in range of orb.
I'd pick that as my starting.
you can use the furniture/props as semi sheilds and projectiles wil bounce around you faster and protect you more

I don't know if you guys are aware of it but many spells have italian names... like "phiera der tufello" means exhibition at Tufello which is an infamous roman neighborhood ( in fact it increments the firing directions) and "pummarola" means tomato in an italian slang (Neapolitan). Just to let you know ahahahah

i just did this no move challenge with poe and won, yes, it is possible to get the chests if the boss drops right ontop of you, it happend to me twice so i lucked out hard

You can get ANYONE to level 100 with an upgraded pentagram.
@@Thomas-qc9xl pretty much every run without hurry is lvl 100 no?
If you want a bunch of levels, maybe lean into attractorb by leveling garlic and bible and not leveling bone or wand, that way most of the drops are in your magnet zone
if you were to level garlic and bible, the attractorb probably wouldn’t be able to keep up with the size of them earlier on in the game so you wouldn’t level up as fast
Does candle scale attractorb?

Evolve pentagram for a lot more exp. It's not necessary, but helps a lot

I had to do the challenge myself and used your strat and got it :) you DO have to get lucky of what drops when... you need orbgrab early.
as a side note... is there a way to fix the save file as mine was corrupted by steam and able to have 3 re-rolls and skips but I know that is cheating so I don't put upgrade points into it. Is there a way to set it back to only 2?

Still don't get Pentagrams.... why would it be good for leveling if it clears the monsters (that you are being able to kill) AND the orbs?
how exactly does it HELP?
It removes the orbs that are outside the pickup radius. Eventually, so many orbs drop outside the range that you can no longer level up at all. Pentagram clears the orbs so that they will start dropping again.
So there is a limit on how many shards there can be?
Oh it's not broken... you just haven't sufficiently appeased the RNG gods!

Why aren't gems spawning anymore after a "failed" pentagram ?
There's a 400 gem limit on the ground, and other gems that would spawn instead get automatically added to the value of a certain red gem that's already on the ground.
@@polatrite I’ve never reached that and I’ve played the game tons lol. Just gotta collect fast, I’ve even got the super red gem that levels you fast while getting not al gems
