Rally nice, I've been taking a hiatus from Vampire Survivors after playing a ton of it when I first discovered it - this is very helpful for getting back into it.
Picked up VS quite recently and hoo-boy it really is *that* addictive huh? Super helpful guide, extremely in depth and answered a couple of questions I'd had whilst playing where I was wondering if such-and-such was affected by the passives I was picking up.
i feel like weapons like whip, garlic and wand are almost must picks (picking 1 or 2 out of the 3 per run) if you are doing full curse in early game for self defence. they have weak late game but will still get you to 30min. if you are doing non curse 30min runs, literally roll a dice on weapons and upgrades and you are guaranteed to get to the end.
Loved the video! I did notice a slight discrepancy at 6:58 . When whip upgrades, you said that the damage goes up by 10, but on the sheet, the damage stays the same: max whip = 10 + six levels of +5 damage = 40 bloody tear = 40? Not sure which is correct, so I figured that I'd point it out.

That was the risk of doing the guide during a Twitch livestream. Users were spending points to throw random sounds during the stream. I will probably move these types of streams to RUclips to reduce the amount of interuptions.
just an correction for duration and cooldown interactions, there is an attribute call cooldownDepensOnDuration and only King Bible and NO FUTRE has it, others acts like normal weapons and that's why unholy vespers and song of mana can stack while King Bible and NO FUTURE can only have one active at a time
Hmm, interesting... Based on my own testing, only 4 (evolved) weapons can solo carry you through the whole inverse-run: Whip, Holy Wand, Thousand Edge, Scythes. The rest is just meh... Even La Borra isn´t able to survive 20. minute...
Oh wow, Vespers works VERY differently than it seems; I thought that it didn't operate on a cooldown/duration system, and thus could not overlap like bible can. So apart from area Vespers is just a strict upgrade, excellent thing to know!
Video too long, all you need (both as a beginner and leveled up character) is upgraded daggers and upgraded runetracer... Everything else is secondary. These two weapons are BEAST but they need to be upgraded. Fully upgraded whip (bloody tear + vento sacro) is my favorite too. There are other OP weapons as well but they are usually harder to level up and they slow you down in early-game.

Both have the same base damage. I just mathed on the fly incorrectly.

knife, guns and their evolve can always crit, and every crit deal 2x damage besides heaven sword which is 2.5x

Something I noticed, Bloody Tear has a maximum amount of 4. Donno if Whip has a maximum amount, but I know I got it to 5.
