    What thickness/gauge of sheet metal did you use? Also, what type of metal?

    • @mohicanspeed
      @mohicanspeed  2 года назад +1

      Can’t remember but I think it was either 16 or 18 gauge mild steel shett metal

      @@mohicanspeed have you driven the car much yet? How's everything holding? I talked to a body guy and totally scrapped the rivet and fiberglass method. It's getting panel bonded, Duraglass, and Bondo. Apparently the rivet way can allow the panel to flex and crack the Bondo/paint

      @@mitchellh4028 sadly not yet I’ve been doing a lot of engine work to it, besides the rivets it used fiber glass to bond it to the car and then fiberglass body filler and then a thin coat of body filler

      @@mohicanspeed yeah, I watched all of your videos and bought all of the supplies well before the work. After talking to a few different people and body shops, everyone was scared of the results 2 years down the line with rivets, fiberglass, etc... I don't know if they are 100% correct with their opinions, but it's something to watch for over time I guess!
      Im going to go check out your big single set up video
